PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

    Hey everyone, i dont know if anyone else has experienced this or not but, i am having trouble getting my numbers ( i.e. altitude, headings, vertical speed, engines, ect) to show up on my MCP panel, the HUD panel and the MFD's. I have uninstalled both the PMDG and FSX and reinstalled both. Everything worked fine at the time of purchase but i cant figure out what went wrong along the way! Ive read the instructions on how to start up cold and dark and followed everything as i was told but i cant get my numbers to appear. my display settings are fine. the FMC works fine, i can see everything on that too. any suggestions? plz help. and thx in advance!

    Hi all, Newbie here. I was following Mike Ray's 700s tutorial and setup the Approach to use ILS 16L. The plane autolanded as the book says it would. However, I saw that the CRS selection on the MCP set at 182 instead of the approach plate's runway heading of 163 ( I am using 1209 AIRAC). I thought that the CRS setting would match the runway heading? Setting the CRS to 163 would actually cause the plane to land on the aprons (btw this is what happen with the LD767 using its auto tune ILS feature, it would set the course to 163 and missed the runway, a bug?). Any help explaining this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

    hello, i´ve a problem with the autobrake in the pmdg737ngx! I´m using the Thrustmaster Warthog joystick system! The problem is,that the autobrake do not disengange,even when i press the joystick button or the period "." twice! The Autobrake slows down the aircraft till it comes to a full stop and after that i have to switch the parking brake on and of to taxi out but the main brake is out of order after that because of high temperature (No,i didn´t had the parking brake activatet for landing ^_^ !     Hi, upon watching the replay of some takeoffs I did, I noticed that in some of them I did a tail strike during rotation, but in fact, during the takeoff from the cockpit, I did not realize that, since it looks like the tail strike is not simulated.I mean, the fuselage "penetrates" the ground as if it were water and not a hard surface. On other aircraft I used in the past, you even hear the scratching sound of the lower fuselage on the tarmac. Is there anything wrong with my configuration?

  5. I just noticed that my HUD is not available in any of my addon liveries. It works normally in the pmdg liveries.. Is this a fault with my setup, or does anyone else have this problem. I've been using the pmdg 747-400 for a couple of years but have only had the ngx for a couple of weeks. thanks for any help...

  6. Hey, sorry if this has been asked before, couldn't find it... So here I was descending on the VOR/LOC and G/S at LOWI's LOC EAST approach, scheduling a circle-to-land for RWY 08, according to the published procedures. That procedure tells to turn to heading 230 at AB NDB. As said, I was descending on the G/S coupled with the autopilot (CMD A), so at AB NDB I hit the HDG button on the MCP, to make the plane turn to 230 which was set in the MCP .... but nothing happened.     I have always used PanelAsTexture=0 with my FS, it stops Anti ALiasing Settings to Blur the 2d Panel. But with PMDG 737NGX that setting stops the VC Textures from loading, the 2D works fine. Is there any other solution I can use? I hate the look of the FMC with all that blur. Thanks!

    Hi, I have the following problem: I am sitting in the VC, the NGX is setup for flight, my FPS is in the range of 35. When I open Views- Instrument Panel- Forward Overhead Panel, it does not open and the FPS unrecoverably crash to below 10 with stuttering graphics. Further, the mouse cursor appears permanently on the screen as a flickering ring (like the ring which appears in Windows when it's loading something. I still can click knobs, switches etc. but the symbols for the mouse actions do not appear).     Dear All Please forgive my stupid "flight sim newbie" questions, etc. I'm more accustom to flying the real 737NG than computers. I love the look and quality of the PMDG simulations and I plan to use them to view non-normal events and for general interest. However, I have found it very frustrating getting decent assistance from PMDG over a lost download and the issue of how to get it to work well on a MacBook Pro OSx Lion. Has anyone managed to get it to work well on such a platform and what downloads have you purchased to get the best result? Many thanks - Leo

  12. Hi, I have a question regarding the Autoland 3 approach, maybe someone made the same experience. When i´m performing an Autoland 3 approch (Autoland Fail op), sometimes it happens that the 737 is not able to hold the centerline. The rudder seems to pin. It seems to me that this is a Bug?     I am sorry if this has been raised before however I am having an issue with switching back to FSX with the 737NG loaded. The screen just reverts to a black screen and this also happens if I access FSUIPC and go back to my flight. It only happens with the PMDG 737. I have tried new graphics drivers etc and the problem is still there. Sometimes my VC will flash back up however it is transperant exhibiting strange graphical artifacts. Anyone have this issue?   18. Hi, I would like to acquire the 737NGX PMDG 800-900 for FSX, but I heard that there is an order to install your products. So if I install first the 737NGX, could i install the others (MD11, 747-400 or -800) AFTER the 737NGX even if they are older? If i download the 737NGX from your site now, is this file already updated to the SP1c or may i have to download the patch separetely ? Many thanks for the answers. Gilles Menghetti.

    a wierd speed issue has recently started to pop on my my 737NGX 700. After Takeoff - my plane wont go above the speed of 200-204 knots in any conditions. I checked all flaps and speedbrakes and everything and issue remains same and hence VNAV wont start the climb and I end up flying around 9-10k alt. Just recently popped up :(

    Hi folks, two things I noticed 1) In an engine out scenario, there is no way to get the A/T to work again. You should be able to use A/T if you match the thrust levers manually. 2) I noticed that quite often, especially at higher altitudes, CLB thrust will be higher than both TO and CON thrust according to the FMC. CON thrust should always be higher than CLB. Thanks Mark

    Hi guys. Does anyone know how airliner diversions are handled in reality? On a diversion you're obviously not going to have a planned route in the FMC for the plane to follow, so how does it work? You can do what you like in FSX, e.g. just enter a new destination and approach then select direct-to the initial approach fix, but that's not necessarily how it should be done. Many thanks.

    I often get V1 and Vr speeds with only 1 knot difference e.g.v1=134, Vr=135, is this common or am i doing something wrong? It also affects fs2crew as it only calls v1 and misses rotate call. thanks
