Hy guys, I just wanted to share something with you. I was fighting hard against a PMDG_737.DLL crash and I discovered after many days that as soon as I put disablepreload on fsx.cfg, FSX crash when I load a fly using PMDG 737. I don't know if I'm the only one to have this problem but, just in case you have that crash, try this fix, it could work as it worked for me... BTW I Have a CD version SP1c included in install Best

Hello all, I was wondering if someone could help me because I've been struggling a bit with few details on my first PMDG 737 NGX livery. it's almost done and I'm pretty happy with what's done so far but now I'm trying to fill up to some passenger windows. I have seen it done on some liveries that I have downloaded so I know it's possible but I don't know how. I'm talking about this: On the fuselage_master (Photoshop file) I've tried everything I can imagine to do this but without success. I have for example tried to remove some windows from the "windows frame" filter and many other things. So if someone out there can help me I would be very thankful!!…

Hey all, I was wondering what is the proper procedure for getting out of ILS for lets say offset LOC approaches and such. Should I disconnect the AP or just the FDs? Yesterday I was training the Innsbruck 08 circling and in Ryan's manual he disconnects the AP just before the last turn. Now, at 3700 feet you need to alt hold and HDG 230. I tried with FDs off but the plane kept the ILS. I managed to do it by disconnecting the AP, then switching off the FDs and then switched all on again but I was thinking that may not be the right procedure. In the manual this is not explained. I'm flying the Tutorial 2 trip from EHAM to LOWI and all was going well until turning to 230 at AB. Then I had a problem following the instructions in the Tutorial. On page 118, it says:- "...Press DEP ARR and select the LOWI ARRIVALS page. Select Runway 08, which clears out the LOC/DME EAST procedure. So I have a question of autopilot on the NGX fleet. I use autopilot for my flights to help me fly the aircraft but here is the problem I am having. When I park at the gate turn the engines off and switch ground power on right away I noticed that autopilot cant be turned on anymore even if i start the plane again it can't. Am I doing somthing wrong or is that an issue with the aircraft? Also I have used the 800/900 and the 700 series jets. please help!

Hey guys, I am slightly confused over my autopilot problem. I can activate LNAV and VNAV just fine, but my autopilot didn't respond when clicked, until I was over 10,000 feet in the air. Current conditions: Flight plan being followed via the FMC Autothrottle set BOTH F/D switches set to active RWAY heading set correctly Altitude set to cruising Do you guys have any reason why my autopilot took forever to activate? -Jeremy Chesney

I've pre-ordered the Jetmax 737 throttle; the trim wheels are only mock ups, and trim settings can only be controlled by the Yoke. There is no trim indicate on the throttle. How do you make the upper EICAS display the trim value? Ben

Just a quick note of the Flightdeck Solutions CDU i recieved, This piece is more than i expected very professionally made,great feel to the keys It has a color VGA 800x600 LCD screen with outstanding contrast,excellent backlighting on the keyboard. If you were thinking of a CDU purchase you cant do any better than this unless you went to boeing and snagged one from them. Very easy setup for the NGX and software is included along with power adaptor. You will need a VGA cable and a printer type USB cable. Hello Staff, Bryan from FS2Crew say that i take a posting here. I have an issue with VSD with my new graphic card GTX550 Ti. Before i use GTS550 and i dont have any problem with VSD. Now with my new card i get hight load CPU. My Q6600 runs normally on thread 2 3 4. Number one is switchted off. If i switch on VSD CPU on all threads have a high load. 92-100%. I will let you know it, so Bryan told me that you interested of this issue. Thanks.

Hi everyone, Maybe someone - hopefully - can help me here. Today I started a flight with 737 ngx 800 winglets. After setting up and ready for taxi every system works - except the hud does not show anything. I can click on the hot spot, hug drops down but it is empty. I must be missing something here as the days before, and certainly last week I had also a fully functional HUGS. Anyone has a clue ? Tried searching but came up with nothing. Really don't understand it. Also tried the 737-600 and it has the same problem. Any and akll suggestions are welcome. mvg, Dieter PS. Please help

Yeah I just reinstalled windows 7 on my iMac and I have updated my windows sound drivers. Under available sound devices on the FMC under settings there are no devices available at all. I am missing some sounds like when I push button in the cockpit or the air conditioning sounds; I'm also missing the voices for the pushback option as well as the ding when you turn on the fasten seat belt sign. Do i have a corrupt sound file? any ideas? Ryan Patch

Hi Gents, I haven't seen any other complaints re Autothrottle in the 737-800 but i'm having a terrible time keeping it engaged. It regularly drops off for no apparent reason and it will not re-engage unless I make an adjustment to the physical throttles. The nature of the adjustment doesn't matter, a llittle more or a little less and ATC will re-engage for a period but will again drop off after a short period. Makes SID's and STARS a dangerous chore. Any thoughts? Thanks, Eric

Hello, i hope it's not related to my new REX-E but today i did a flight from Barcelona to Gatwick, and on short final my fsx just stopped and CTD, it says that fsx stopped responding click close the program to close it. then i went to the event viewer and the error was in the fsx.exe, what should i do? thanks!

Hey guys, I was attempting to do a maiden voyage with my new 737ngx, when I entered everything into the FMC shown on a guide video, but I wasn't able to activate the LNAV and VNAV, and I did the exact same thing as the guy in the video. Both buttons can be pushed, but they do not illuminate or actually work at all. Is there a specific setting I need for the autopilot or anything? -Jeremy Chesney

Notable circumstances: FS2Crew was being used It was a packs off take off (handled by fs2crew) CMD A On in vnav and lnav modes FLT ALT was set to 350000 on the pressurization panel Step to FL370 was entered into the the FMC MCP was then set to FL370 Aircraft continued climb pas initial FL350 to FL370 At this point I got a master caution but was confused by the lack of any system annunciator lights. After taking a 2 month break from the 737, I decided it would be a good idea to refresh my skills with the aircraft by completing tutorial 1. I have done everything right up to the point where i was unable to descend to the runway and I had missed the approach. I believe the step i missed was I could not figure out how to do this and i believe it was the reason of why I missed my approach. If someone could explain this to me or even post a screenshot I would appreciate it. Thanks! ~ Corey
