Gentlemen, When in VC cockpit, as I scroll up to the overhead panel the view orientation is slanted, and difficult to read far gauges and switches. How can I scroll up and down in VC cockpit so that the view is not slanted? Thanks. Stanner

After installing a GTX660Ti video card I notices that the slats don't move but the acuators do. They just move through the slats. Fowler flaps and flaps move fine. I submitted a ticket but hoped someone here could answer quicker. Justin Whetstone

Hi, Has anyone used the short field package to land your NGX on a short rwy? Here is my experience trying (PAWG-PAPG tried to simulate Alaska airline flight #65) to land on Rwy 23 at PAPG (FSX 92ft elevation) using IAN with FMC generated glide path. I stablized on the approach about 1200 ft after an approximately 90 degree turn from the south in the fijords. With the plane properly trimmed and thrust setting to maintain Vref+5, flaps 40. At about 600ft, turned off auotpilot and auto-throttle, I followed the FCTM manual's instruction on flare and retard after 50Ft RA after rwy threshold. I was watching a few landing videos online -- I see a lot of yoke movement -- is that just due to the feedback and the pilots 'fighting' to keep the plane aligned? And how much deviation would you use from the center line before using the rudder -- 5 degrees? I have the PFC yoke, and it is set to be extremely sensitive -- when I move the yoke, the plane immediately follows. Thanks, Ben

Dear friends, I have registered FSUIPC 4.858, PMDG 737NGX SP1c, Windows 7 Pro SP1 and I'm using LINDA 1.11 with PMDG module 1.8 to configure my Saitek X52 Pro with latest drivers installed. The issue is that when entering FSX SP2 and loading PMDG 737-800WL, the LINDA console loaded the aircraft module Project Magenta not PMDG then of course no Saitek assignments worked properly. The only way to get rid of the problem was to delete Project Magenta folders in LINDA directories under FSX Modules folders. Do you know why this happen and where are located the issue (LINDA or FSUIPC) ? Best Regards, Adenilson

I have a question concerning the proper method of changing FL. If you are cleared by ATC to climb to FL200. You reach that FL and for whatever reason you stay at that FL for a short bit. Finally you are cleared by ATC to climb to your filed cruise altitude of FL360. You dial 36000 into the MCP and... What is the proper procedure to get the 737 to begin its climb to FL360? Is it press LVL CHG than reengage VNAV or do you dial press ALT INTV?

Hi, i've already a few hundred hours on our beauty and she is really almost perfect - after 1 year of NGX i went back to some other planes (JS41, Concorde) but quickly switched back to the NGX since everything else seems just to buggy..... But i have/found two small issues i want to discuss here, maybe some of you have noticed these things as well - maybe it is just a problem on my side. 1. radio altimeter call-outs on through-flights I noticed when i fly more than one leg, the radio altimeter call-outs work just fine on the first leg, but are not there during the second. Hi all, Before I start, I would like to apologize if this has been addressed in the past in the forums. So, my computer just came back from repairs, but unfortunately, they had to format the entire hard drive to get the job done. I do have a back up of the NGX installer on an external hard drive, and I've only activated the product once. Is it possible if I can use the same installer from PMDG, and then use the same activation key as before, or do I have to buy the extended download service?

I've just bought PMDG 737NGX and i'm enjoying. But there's one problem. When I apply toe brake, rudder pedal animation doesn't work! Brake function is ok, but no padel animation. Is there anyone who know about this?

I purchased the B737NG add on last night and installed it. But when I try to select the 737NG if FSX, a window opens asking me for an activation code. I've sent in two support tickets to PDMG and have gotten no response. Does anyone know how I might get them to give me my activation code? Hey everyone, i dont know if anyone else has experienced this or not but, i am having trouble getting my numbers ( i.e. altitude, headings, vertical speed, engines, ect) to show up on my MCP panel, the HUD panel and the MFD's. I have uninstalled both the PMDG and FSX and reinstalled both. Everything worked fine at the time of purchase but i cant figure out what went wrong along the way! Ive read the instructions on how to start up cold and dark and followed everything as i was told but i cant get my numbers to appear. my display settings are fine. the FMC works fine, i can see everything on that too. any suggestions? plz help. and thx in advance!

Ok here it goes... granted i'm new to this plane and all of its amazing features, i do have one question for now. I would like to ask if anyone knows how to save the co routes on the cdu. I have loaded the route with all the waypoints and sids and stars with all my weights and fuel. I pressed the save key on the route page but the confirm button is highlighted along with the exec button. but the cdu will not neither confirm or exec.

Hello, Yesterday I was flying online and approaching rwy 16 at LOWW. I was established on ILS flying manually, A/P disconnected, only autothrottle ON. When i reached the threshold the plane suddenly banked to the left and I landed on the grass... Such sudden turn never happened before. Anyone experienced this? I have FSX, REX+ASE, flytampa scenery for LOWW and Service pack 1c of the NGX.

Hi, I've been flying for a while with the PMDG NGX and I really love it, however I've got a question related to the ATC and approach charts. For example, I'm flying from EDDK (Cologne-Bonn Airport) to EHAM (Schiphol Amsterdam) and as I am approaching from the southeast I am flying via RKN to ARTIP (as you can see on the below attached EHAM01 file. It then says that ARTIP is the clearance limit and for that I need to have a runway designation from the FSX ATC. However, when I'm at ARTIP entering the holding pattern, I still can't select the airport from the ATC and therefor cannot ask for landing clearance and that is necessary to get a landing clearance. Hello,just wanted to know as PMDG recommended to set the cloud drew range to 80 miles, is that realistic, will i notice a difference between 80 and 110? currently using 60 miles, it looks terible i think i can see the clouds starting to draw when i look at them. any recommendation? thanks!
