Hey guys anyone re-modeling the PMDG 737-800 into the P-8 or if there is on is already out in RAAF scheme

Hey Guys i bought the NGX basepack for about 3h.And i became no downloadlinks Dont know what to do now.

I found a small hole in the virtual cockpit of the 737-800NGX on the first officer side on the bottom left corner of the FMC. This was on the "United Airlines" livery. Not sure if its on the default NGX. Anyone else see it on their NGX?

Hey, I know you guys are busy with the 7X but wouldn't you NG drivers love to take a BBJ2 or 3 from Manchester to Hong Kong or similar. I sure would . So PMDG, I'm asking do you know of any timeframe when this would be done? Many thanks Michael Atherton

For some reason, when I look back out of the pilot's window from the VC, I can no longer see the wing tip!!! Not on the FO's side either. The external view of the wing is there, I'm just not able to see it from the VC. Very odd... does anyone have any ideas?

I beleive I read somewhere that upon initial loading of program NOT to load it into the suggested path but rather then to use a seperate path. Can anyone enlighten me on this??? Thanks George KPHX

I have to admit, for whatever reason, I rarely fly at night. However, I do enjoy the occasional dawn or dusk flight. The other day I flew just that, and I noticed that the NGX semed extremely dark from the outside, in fact a lot darker than I would have thought normal. Can anyone confirm that what I'm seeing is OK and if not, what the problem might be. Thanks guys...

I am looking for the most realistic ATC addon that can go with the 737 NGX and other addon planes that I have purchased. I am a real life pilot so I want to get something that can handle emergencies, alternate airports, SIDs, STARS, etc.. I have been looking at Radar Contact, VoxATC and ProFlight Emulator Deluxe. Not sure what else is out there. I know about VATSIM but like to fly offline at times. Not sure when RC v5 is coming out. In your experience what is the best ATC product out there today? Thank you.

Recently returning to forumn. After loading flight in flt Planner and going to Airport location.... As soon as glare shield appears the aircraft is ALREADY in flight and LANDING. A/C goes off the runway before I can TRY and correct things. ????? Please George KPHX

good evening. i have just purchased 737 ngx running on fsx i promise i have looked at FAQ and several topics before posting these ?? everytime i set sound levels on the FMC its fine then the next when i go back in i have do it all over again how do you save settings? also i do not hear the 80 v1 call outs only call out when landing how do i activate this? final question i have a saitek multi panel for auto pilot when i change setting the digits move and show on aircraft but the digits on multi panel stay at 00000 i have spad programme loaded and also fscuip thank you sorry for annoying anyone who has seen these ?? before paul ewing

Well PMDG did it again. I purchased their planes and they are great planes. I thouught I would purchase FSBUILD to make flight plans quicker. So I purchase it and then I find when I exported the plan into FSX it will load the plan into the FMC, no problem. The issue is, the complete plan is not there. I find that PMDG strips a lot of the way points out of the imported FSBUILD plan which makes the flight incomplete. Their reason was it takes more programing for them and they don't want to go the extra miles. Too bad because they have a great plane. Les :Alien:

Hi, fellow 737 sim pilots,bad news for those of you who like to fly the NGX in OS (Austrian Airlines) livery: Under their current restructuring efforts, OS has announced that its short-to-medium haul fleet will become Airbus-only. The 737s (which had all been inherited when Lauda Air was taken over by Austrian) will be replaced. Then both the OS and NG liveries on the -600, -700 and -800 will be history... I shall miss them in real life (I was actually on board OE-LNO once, on a flight to LDDU!) and shall continue to use them in the sim.RegardsSigmar StadlmeierLOWL (Linz/Austria)

Hello! A few questions about the electrical system. Should tr1 and tr2 have the same amp reading while the dc cross tie relay is closed? On my ngx there is a significant difference between tr1 amp and tr2 amp as if the dc cross tie relay is opened. This is with the bus transfer switch in auto and not in afds app mode with the glideslope captured. Also I noticed that the ac amp meter shows a reading for ground power. Is that per the real aircraft?

I get square blue blocks when I change views and disappears after about 3 seconds. I just completed a reinstall of fsx and PC upgrade. Anyone have this issue

Hi, Had a little problem with LNAV. After takeoff I selected a heading that intercepted the track on the ND. However when I selected the LNAV, it didn't come on and I got a message in the FMC that said not on interception track. I tried several different angles to the track, from 5 degrees to 45 degrees but kept getting the same problem. This is the first time I have had this problem and am wondering if it was just a glitch in this flight or I'm doing something wrong. Any ideas? Thanks Rob

The last couple of flight I have been getting sirens going off during climb out. I have been flying this bird since it became available without any issues. Am I doing anything wrong? Thanks Adib

Hi, I have a pair of Saitek throttles calibrated through FSUIPC and am wondering why they affect the A/T setting when I retard the Saitek TQ levers. Is there a setting in the FMC that allows the hard TQ to be retarded without affedting the A/T setting? THanks Rob

Which can be the problem of this ? I'm very worried about :( I was thinking about GPU ( Graphic card ). Mine is quite old, ASUS Geforce GTS250 1GB. I got it about 4 years ago ! :(, I was thinking also about CPU but I got 3 mounths ago, AMD FX-6300 6 cores OC to 4 GHz. What do you think guys ? Thanks Ivan

So I am loving my PMDG 737NGX Aircraft.... I've only been flying it for a couple of weeks but still the experience is MOST amazing. So I mainly just do direct flights airport to airport, but I wanted to start doing more realistic high altitude navigation. I've tried on several occasions to use the jet routes on the En Route Charts in nDAC (For example, flying between KABQ and KDEN (Short Flight I know) I could either use J13 or J15, but the FMC says there not on in the database. I am using the current navigation data, as provided by Navigraph for my PMDG products and I do keep all my charts updated (I spend a lot of money on credits to do so), but still I can seem to…

Hi all, I was hoping I could get some help from you guys in regards to the PMDG 737NGX and Aivlasoft EFB software. I have just recently downloaded the 30 day free trial and trying to set it up, firstly how do I set it up for the 737? as far as I've gotten is making a new aircraft folder named 'PMDG 737-900NGX' and added the checklists from Aivlasofts' website. Is that all I have to do? Secondly when I make a flight plan and try to save it as a .RTE file is says that access to 'C:\............\PMDG\FLIGHTPLANS\NGX' is denied. I have no idea how to get around this? and lastly once I can get the software to save the .RTE file how do I then get it on to the PMDG 737? …

Recently, my FSX time has increased and that means seat time in the NGX. My computer is mid to high end and tweaked for stability and visual quality, FSX has never been better. Then I do something that both embarrasses me and at the same time reminds me how cool the NGX is. I was flying UAL 1539 TPA to ORD in a 739 and went through my normal routine except this time I have GSX. Long story short, I got an alarm on the pressurization panel showing it could no longer "Automatically" control the pressure and I got glitches with the altimeter during approach where it would blink from normal to zero and back.. Given that the PMDG NGX is set up for commercial carriers, it doesn't consider the extra fuel tanks usually found on a BBJ. Comparing the iFly tanks for their BBJ to the ones listed for the NGX, I wonder if it's possible to hack the aircraft.cfg file to add extra tanks? This would extend the range for BBJ flyers to get closer to long haul (US->EU direct flights, for example). Any thoughts on this? Tommy

G'day After many many years of buying hardware and tweaking I have finally got my flight sim (FSX) to perform great. I have been flying sims since the Flight sim 4 (c1980's), and have spent too much of my life in front of the sim, partly flying and partly tweaking. Now I get 95% of the time 30= FPS with all sliders full except water. I also fly the real things since about 2005. I support the addon community and I get pleasantly amazed at some of the great products out there. I have the 737NGX and I wish to put the panels on the laptops I have. The scenery can stay on my PC [3xscreens i7 etc]. I have WideFS and FSUIPC etc. I would like use 2d panels as well. VC…
