PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

Hey everyone, I had some troubles with FS2crew and uninstalled it, after that I just started up a free flight with the NGX. In the VC, and a couple gauges were grayed out for some reason, I know 1 was used for the actual FS2crew interface but I want to restore the original panel. I checked the aircraft folder and there was no backup file, maybe someone can send me their panel.cfg for the -800? I would greatly appreciate that

I did two tut1 flights and everything ok. I tried a local flight, KABQ-KORD, got the fmc loaded, v speeds showing on the pfd, armed the LNAV, VNAV, and the auto throttle. I was in cruise FL 350, about ten minutes into the flight, and I got a shaker sound, overspeed. The VNAV was disengaged, and so was the autothrottle. No matter what I did, could not engage either one. I got the AT warning on the panel. I looked at the throttles and the #1, the left lever was not moving as the right one was. I physically moved the left throttle on my Goflight TQ6 so it was in sync with the right lever. then I was able to engage the VNAV and the AT. This sequence of events happened four mo…

Hi all, I know that PMDG released a livery for Caribbean Airlines but I am wondering if one of you painters can assist in doing an updated version? Since the release of the liveries the Caribbean Airlines livery has changed slightly with the addition of a small sticker that highlights the 50th year of independence. 9Y-GEO has addition titles on it as well. Hi, Changed hard drive to SSD today. Re-installed everything but cannot activate PMDG 737, constantly says it cannot reach activation server despite internet available. Anyone know how to sort this out? I tried to raise a ticket but only seem to be offered the chance to raise a ticket for activations that have been overused Ray

I just re-installed the ngx from a download that I just paid for to re-activate, does that mean I got the latest version or I still have to download the update? Thanks

How can I start MS FSX using 737NGX's anti-collision lights on at startup? Without doing a cold and dark setup, of course. I keep getting dinged on my flight critique from FS Flight Keeper for starting engines with beacon lights off.

Hey guys So today I was doing a flight, I had everything setup I started both engines. They both started perfectly, I set flaps checked controls and everything was normal but as I went to increase the throttles so I could taxi to the active only one engine spooled. However both engines are running the right engine only increases thrust. Every once in a while during a flight the cockpit will light up as if the dome light is on bright. I switch the dome light to dim or off and makes no difference. Sort of upsetting especially on final at night.

I only use a normal joystick with FSX and I was wondering if there is anyway to get an axis to contort the breaks? I've managed to get it controlling one side with differential breaks so is there anyway to get both side breaking on one axis? Thanks

Hi all, I was completing Tutorial #2 when I came across a sound issue. During the cockpit preflight flow, you are to test the APU and engine fire detection and warning system. When you select the TEST switch to the OVHT/FIRE position you are supposed to hear the fire warning bell. Well this is not the case for me as I do not hear it. I tried to find corrective action if this were to happen but I am unsuccessful. I have also done the basics such as, check all my FSX sound settings, headphone settings, etc. Just to clarify I am hearing every other sound, so it suggests to me I have done something wrong in the flow. Would really like to fly the 737ngx online. Just wonder if anyone can help me with this problem? In free flight everything works as it should. When i go on to any server after the engines are started and running I move the throttles forward and nothing happens they wont spool. Everything else in the aircraft function except the throttle spooling the engine up. I use a licensed copy of FSUIPC. ThankYou So Much!!! Rick Eisele

I'm thinking about un-checking the aircraft stress causes damage option under realism in FSX to avoid having midair crashes caused by overspeed in turn caused by sudden windshifts. <br /><br />Will doing this do any harm to the failure modeling in the NGX?

I've searched thru the SDK and manuals but was not able to see a list of "Reserved" key sequences used by the 737NGX, anyone have such a list? Example: Ctrl + Shift + 0 = .... does XYZ Thanks, Rob.

Recently upgraded from Windows 7 to 8 (reinstall), after going through the entire FSX install, along with all the addons, PMDG and the SP1c update, I get to the activation point, put in the code, click activate, and after about 30s to 1m of freezing, an error pops up stating this: http://i.imgur.com/5pYDr6X.png Known issue? Hi, I just put into the FMC a saved flight via the Co Route, then thought, I would remove it, and redo it by hand. How do I do this, as there seems no way of clearing the FMC, other than reloading the flight. Regards

Because NGX is the first aircraft for FS that implemented Approach Idle and need quite little adjustment for flare,it is time consuming process be familiar with it's character. I usually set idle at 100ft and flare at 50 with othere aircrafts, so I want to know is my behavior is in permissable range.Many cockpit video performing manual landing shows perfectly same as NGX autoland shows, it's hard to change old habit :) Eventually I get used to do that, but still curious I'm doing right or not.Any advice would be appreciate.

Hello folks, I've just a little question and it would be great, if someone out there checked this out: Certainly you all know this nice animation: When adding fuel or payload at the gate, the airplane bounces once which shows that weight was changed. Somehow I noticed that this effect doesn't work when changing weight in the -700 series... Is that an issue caused by using a repaint aircraft - but repaints don't change animation effects, do they? Maybe it has to do with the fact, that the -800 series is bigger and the weight changing effect is more noticeable there, too... It would be great to know, if you get this difference, too. In the manual for the PMDG 737NGX says, quote, "There is no need to first load the Cessna 172, or use any sort of custom saved flight when loading the PMDG 737NGX. Our programming sets up the sim eviroment properly as the aircraft is loading", end qoute. I have seen many youtube videoes to learn how to use the PMDG 737NGX and read a lot of manuals. In ine of the videos, it is said that he has made an Options file, where he set up Cold & Dark setup. How di i do that? In FMS you can go into the setup and PMDG startup State. Just a quick question if you don't mind I would like to fly the NGX in VC mode practising all of the flows and procedures. I dont care much for scenery, traffic etc but the view inside the cockpit must flow smoothly. I need a relatively cheap laptop and I was looking at an i7 - 2.4 8GB Ram Radeon 7730M Windows 8 64 bit Do you think that that system would run smoothly with none on the 'outside' scenery etc enabled Thanks for your input
