PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

I need some help with re-installing the 737NGX Base pack and 600-700NGX. I recently moved and can't locate my backup DVDs. I've pirchased the extended backup service from PMDG, opened 2 tickets (one for each package) and I get a download link expired when I try to re-download the products. Any help would be appreciated. If I have an ILS freq. tuned, I only get the glideslope indicator on the ND if the EFIS is set to APP mode on my downwind leg for landing. I circled in yellow the two areas of focus. On the ND, the glideslope shows I'm just passing under the beam, but on my PFD (or the FO's PFD) the dot is missing from the glideslope area. The localizer shows up fine, but not the GS. I notice this on every approach I do. Is this something the real airplane models? Or is there something wrong with my installation? Hello guy's,I was wondering for a long time now why the space between the glareshield (autopilot) and overhead panel is so big in the NGX while in the real cockpit it is much more little...I have been working as flight dispatch for Ryanair, and i was always wondering why this difference between simulation and real. Maybe to have a better view while flying approaches, etc.. but as far as i am concerned, i think it remove some realism... I'm running Win 8 on a Dell XPS 8500 i7-3770 w/ 8 Gig of ram. Installed FSX Gold and 737NGX on a separate SSD. Latest version of FSUIPC installed. Uiautomationcore.dll installed in FSX root. Turned off Hyperthreading. When I bring up the 737NGX at EGKK to start tutorial #1, I keep having problems with the FMC. After pressing the DEPARR button to set up the departure information, the system displays the busy "circle" and then the sim pauses. I press "P" to unpause the sim and go about programming the FMC. Sometimes when switching various views in the FMC, the sim will again pause. Pressing "P" usually causes the sim to resume, but sometimes I have to cycle views…

I have set the cargo to be 14949kg and Topcat states that the payload dis should be 7159/7790. However the FMC will not let me enter those values.

I've been out of the loop for quite sometime, and am just jumping back into the NGX/FSX. I see a new weather program has been released called Opus, would it be a better choice than Active Sky for the NGX? I've read Opus doesn't handle winds aloft as well as Active Sky? Also, considering REX for the textures, is it possible to use the Opus/Active Sky weather engine while using REX textures? Last time I researched this, REX wasn't the best choice for a weather engine, but had great textures. What's everyone take on this? Also, boy am I looking forward to PFPX!! Will be a dream come true for the NGX!

Hey guys! I recently bought the Saitek Rudder Pedals and i'n using them with the PMDG NGX. Really happy with them besides one thing. Right after landing when I start using manual braking to disarm the autobrakes and start vacating the runway the aircraft hits full brakes and forces the aircraft to a complete stop.. I get them released again by pressing the toe brakes again a bit but it really annoys me.. Same thing happens a few seconds later, usually when I've just vacated the runway, I press them again and then it's all good, no issues taxiing to the gate. Hi, When I fly online and set my transponder to TA/RA mode, have I to push IDENT on SB to get indentified by ATC. How can I change that to get identified just by tuning TA/RA on the transponder?

After starting the Livery Manager I see my correct FSX root directory listed. But I see no aircraft variants listed at all that box is empty. So I can't install any liveries. I don't understand what to do to have my aircraft variants detected and listed. What to do?

Possibly another stupid question on my part, but I'm totally stuck!!! As the title suggests, how do I get the Opencockpits plug and play mcp and efis to work with the NGX. I've downloaded the relevant stuff from Roar and I have the opencockpits program. I've followed as best I can the instructions but I'm getting nothing! Dear gentlemen, I'm experiencing serious problem after reinstalling FSX and NGX. After installing NGX SP2c I'm getting Fatal Error crash of FSX anytime I try to select NGX no matter which variant. When original installer only is installed I can select NGX, but as soon as I install SP2c I always get this crash and error message. Could you please help me? Thank you. Hi everyone, i just purchased the 737 by pmdg and i am loving it! Great plane.. except i have some issues with my landing. All goes well, i land at 143kts with autobrake switched on (mostly at 1 or 2).. than when i am at a complete stand still the brakes are locked and i have switch on and off the parking brake in the fmc. after that i do not have any brakes left so i can never taxi to the gate! which ruins my fscaptain flight.. I red somewhere that i might burn my brakes everytime, but how ?? i am just using the autobrake of the 737.. what am i missing ?

Hi guys, Sorry if this has been addressed previously but I did some searching and can't find the answer. The labels in the VC in the 737 800 NGX are very blurry in any zoom under 0.9 ,even at 0.9 some text like the FMC text is blurry... Not the digital numbers but the white text on the metal and the labels on the buttons etc. It's being flown on a 34" HD Sinotec TV with a HDMI cable to a Geforce 210 512MB GPU and 2.8GHz CPU and 2 Gigs Ram. Also the FSX settings are on max for the global textures so the VC should be awesome I thought. It flies smoothly but the VC just becomes very blurry under 0.9 zoom and that zoom level is too tight to fly on. …

Im talking about that small round circle in the top right corner of the hud. My airline doesn't have this option and I can't figure out how to turn it off? I use the ngx primarily as a training tool and would like it to be as close as possible to what our jets look like. Also does anybody know how to program a realistic wind shear event? On our check rides that, to me, is the hardest maneuver to deal with.

I very recently reinstalled the NGX and after 2 flights to test it, I can't get the autopilot to engage. I have noticed some not previously experienced behaviour with the auto Throttle as well that I just want to check out. In my previous install, on takeoff, I only needed to stabilize the thrust at around 40% before I engaged the AT, whereupon the AT would take over. This, without me needing to advance the throttles to max. Now, the aircraft seems to die half way through acceleration. Is ; 'all throttles forward', correct? Jon

From one of the Youtube films on the NGX I saw black smoke coming from the engine during startup (simular to PMDG MD11) but which I seem not to be getting on my startup's. Hey Guys ! I need your help so bad ! I am getting FPS drop on approach or rarely on takeoff on my NGX, I did submit a PMDG ticket today. I never had this till now, i was able to get 25 to 30 fps locked at all stages. All my other addons do very good at the same settings, MD 11 , 747, j41, capsim 777,757 all of them ! its just the NGX. I have tried everything. new fsx.cfg, updated graphics drivers, kostas guide .... i have officially run out of ideas. Please help me save the NGX before T7.... plz.. my fps drops from 27 to 5 , 27 to 9 ...intermittently... My rig is a good one, 4.8 ghz, 8 ram, gtx 560, win 7 64. Thanks Thejus Mathew

I'm running Win 8, FSX Gold and PMDG 737 NGX. I've set up FSUIPC (licensed) to control my CH Yoke, Throttle Quad and Peddles. Recently I've been getting strange results when I press various buttons. Pressing the button for flaps down incrementally causes the flaps to jump two notches. Flaps up incrementally either doesn't work or produces forty degrees of flaps. I've reset the buttons but no joy. I also have a button that should cycle thru various views (the same as pressing "S") but the button causes the view to jump thru one view and settle on the next view. I want to use the buttons but until I figure out the problem, I'll use key strokes and hot spots. Any …
