I switched from XP to Windows 7 and since then I cannot read the PMDG-737 manuals. I downloaded a PDF Viewer for Windows. The text is ok but not the graphics. ( see attached file ) Does anybody have an idea what to do ? Thanks Hubert Werni

Hello. I have a problem with elevator in pmdg 737 ngx. I use Cyborg V.1 Flight Stick, but i am not sure if it is caused by my joystick. Problem: When i am pulling or pushing my joy full up and full down and then when i am in full position my yoke in ngx goes to neutral position. It happens only in ngx. When i restart the game. The problem disappear. I think that my joy works properly and i think it is software problem. Here is the video with my problem. Sorry for bad quality. I've been having some problems with the 737 and my flight plans. I program the plan in, make sure everything is in order, including all of the legs, including the speeds and altitudes. I then take off, activate TOGA, the LNAV and VNAV, and then the A/P, and off I go. But somehow, I was under the impression that the A/P would follow the FMC program without intervention. I set my initial altitude at 3000', due to ATC restrictions in the SID, then to (say) FL330. After take-off, I have to press the Alt button to start the climb to 33K. No problem. And along the route, the A/P keeps me cruising along the route. UNTIL - I get to my first transition point, like a checkpoint…

For some reason I have never been able to hear the engines spooling up with the NGX. I can hear the engines, albeit not as loud as I would like, from an external view, but once in the VC I can't hear anything. I have all the recommended settings set in the CDU and have tried different settings in the FSX sound settings menu, but to date I have had little success. I have onboard sound and am running stereo. Does anyone else expereince this? Any help would be appreciated fellas cheers.

Hi, I don't mean to question the accuracy of the Alaska Airlines 737-900 livery and options configuration file provided on the PMDG liveries page, but I have to ask....is it correct that out of their NG fleet of 700/800/900 variants, only the 900 has the EFIS style displays, vs. ND for the others? I'm sure it is, but I'm curious as to why. Is it used for fleet commonality with the older -400 series, and if so, are any of the 700/800 similarly equipped?

Hello, I've searched both the PMDG forum and the FS2Crew forum to see if anyone else has had this problem. Nothing has come yet but that's not to say that there isn't something already out there in the forums! I recognise that this is most likely to be a user-error, but could be related to something to do with an add-on, such as the FS2Crew Voice Command. Hi folks, whenever the the centre fuel tank is not empty after refueling, the centre fuel pump switches are set ON. Is this a feature of the aircraft, or a little tweak of PMDG in order to ensure that the Centre fuel tank gets empty first? If the latter is true, this is a kind of help we jockey actually don't want, do we? Thanx in advance.

I have seen quite a bit written about taking FSC generated flight plans and loading them to the PMDG NGX Flight Management Computer (FMC). I want to do the other way around. Once I get my "final" version of the Flight Plan in the PMDG FMC I want to push it into FSC for visalization and to do "what-if" in case I need to make changes. I am OK with doing the finally selected changes by hand in the PMDG FMS. Any comments?

Hello Captains: Sorry if it had been asked before, but I did not find an answer to my following question: I often see aircrafts parked at an airport with either one or both of their engines spooling, although the plane is parked and the engines are not started. Since this also occurs while there is practically no wind, I ask myself whether it is possible to simulate such spooling with the 737NGX? And what is the purpose of it? Cheers, Markus

Gents, Today I flew a number of published missed approach procedures. Below you can see my procedure. At 400ft AGL I typically select a roll mode, e.g., HDG SEL or LNAV. I have noticed that my HDG SEL kicks off once I select LVL CHG and bug flaps up maneuvering speed at acceleration hieght. I have also tried delaying my selection of LVL CHG until after flap retraction with the same results. I would love to hear back from you folks if you have any idea why my HDG SEL might be kicking off. Clearly there is something awry with my technique. Hi, everyone I finally managed to install my new 737-800 NGX on FSX which took me hours. Now the problem is that the mouse doesn't interract with the cockpit and is inefficient. Hello: VNAV provides VNAV Speed and VNAV Path. If you want to use VNAV SPD, you select the SPD INTV switch on the MCP and then dial in the required speed into the speed window. Is the speed window being open the only way to determine the aircraft is in VNAV SPD? I ask as VNAV PATH is illuminated on the PFD whether I have the speed window open or closed. To return to VNAV PATH (in other words close VNAV SPD), is it only a matter of selecting SPD INTV button again (speed window disappears), or do you have to also push VNAV to activate VNAV PATH? Hi guys i'm posting in hope of some help. I recently purchased the PMDG 737NGX and installed without a hitch, all was working ok, I've flown the tutorial flight 1 a few times. I've also recently installed EZDock camera software and set up was fine all went ok, I then installed FS2 Crew and all was fine again, but now every time i go to the outside view to look at the plane on an external view the planes textures are missing. I can see the wings and part of the front end (white box with PMDG printed on the side) but that's it nothing else appears. Hi guys, im having a problem when using this aircraft. when i want to change from full screen view to a different one, fsx freezes, or the image starts flashing. it also happens when i use time acceleration. example: accidentally i select 8X and when i return to 4X or normal speed the problem happens. i hate when this happens especially when i am on approach and so close to land, because it keeps me from contiung with my flight. im desperate, please help me. thanks in advance, tatin 98

After many hours flying the NGX, I finally experienced my first failure this morning. Delta Airlines flight 487 non-stop to LAX from DTW (Detroit). I had the APU running, disconnected ground power and air, and began to pushback. After the before start checklist but while we were still rolling back, I turned the engine ignition switch for engine two left one click as I always do. Monitoring the lower EICAS, I noticed nothing was happening, no N2 rotation at all. I thought somehow I had forgotten to turn off the packs or closed the APU isolation valve, but no. Hello fellow Captains! B) I have a small problem with the FMC in the NGX When I select a SID departing from runway 27 at EKBI (Billund Airport, Denmark), it's like the FMC thinks the runway heading is different. A bit hard to describe so I took a screenshot: It's like this with almost all the SID's from runway 27... I don't know what happened to my system but FSX suddenly stopped working. Nothing I tried seemed to help. I instituted a restore to a previous system installation. It didn't fix the problem. The restore point was back to a point where I had uninstalled the PMDG B738-9 - except there was still an entry in the Windows 7 "Programs and Features" list. I tried to uninstall the program from there but I received and error that indicated that setup.exe had failed. I also tried to re-install the aircraft and a message displayed indicating that I had a previous installation of the program so the install program terminated. At present, I have no PMDG folders in my SimObjects/Ai…
