I'm trying to activate the package and when I'm pressing Activate, I get the following message: 737NG Activation ERROR: Unable to connect to activation server. Please check your internet connection and try again. I saw previous thread on this problem and that was a server problem, fixed by PMDG. I was just wondering if someone else have the same problem as me today or if my job internet connection has some ports blocked.. Thanks to reply if you are experiencing the same issue. Mikedepo

I'm flying over the Pacific Ocean and I see this, is this a PMDG glitch, or a RW 737 glitch, or normal?

I am having difficulty getting my Vspeeds to register. I press the suggested speeds, and the V speeds do not indicate on the MFD. Also, when I get airborn, the VNAV button will not engage. I don't know what I am doing wrong.

Hello everybody, I am facing a problem after landing when doing my after landing flow. The moment I bring the Autobrakes Switch to the Off-Position, the aircraft instantly stops. I have to tap my brake pedals once again to be able continue taxiing. Same behavior when "accidentally" switching the Autobrake a switch from "RTO" back to "Off" before Takeoff. Just for clarification: I do perform a normal landing with Autobrakes working. I do tap the toe brakes twice and continue with manual braking. I can definitely confirm the Autobrake Disarm Light is illuminated and the aircraft continues to roll without deceleration until I tap my toe brakes again to decelerate to…

Im working on a presentation about high lift devices, I am looking into using the 737 NG in the presentation but may be forced to look at the 300/400/500 series if I cannot find enough information. Does anyone have or know of infromation relating to the trailing and leading edge lift devices (flaps/slats). Thanks,

Hello, What is the lowest RNP cat appch the NGX is capable of? I flew the RNAV (RNP) Z RWY 16L into KSEA and had to use the min's for RNP 0.30 DA since I was unable to input 0.12 into the FMC for the lower min's. Is this even possible? It seems that since the ANP is usually around .02 this shouldnt be an issue. Thanks, Steve

I have been flying the 737NGX pretty much everyday since it's release. I find it to be the best add-on aircraft purchase I have made. However I would say that 60% of the time the aircraft loads without engine cones. I have tried all of the 'fixes' shown in the forum posts, sometimes they work, most times not. My question is " why is this happening on a regular basis and what can be done to permanently fix it.?" I have a high end gaming machine with plenty of CPU, ram and video, so I don't think the problem lies in my equipment. Will this same method of development be carried over to the 777 or has a better solution been adopted. Can anyone offer a fix to this an…

I'm currently flying around the world in my PMDG 737 NGX. So far I have had to make three "belly" landings due to flying in a "war zone" with FS Passengers. On the most recent landing I was arriving in Columbo - Sri Lanka. As I decended I started to be shot at. My Hydraulics went along with my right engine and I had a ruptured fuel tank. Bad - Yes, but no sweat. I couldn't get the landing gear to deploy so I prepared for a belly landing. However, it seemed that I couldn't reduce speed. You would have thought that with only one engine the speed would fall away dramitically with the remaining engine on idle - but no. It appeared that the lower …

hi captains, usually my config for landing is: speedbrakes armed, autobrake set, thrust reverse after touchdown when needed. Thrust reverse is assigned to the saitek thrust-lever button action ( lever all the way down) via fsuipc registered. speed brakes via saitek lever zones (blue 2nd lever) problem: after touchdown when speedbrakes deploy, because armed, or thrust-levers back to idle and application of thrust reverse the speedbrakes start to pump out and in, speed brake lever moving accordingly. Is this a problem of fsuipc lever configuration, or jittering signal, or saitek speed brake lever position (armed) causing a duplication of signals FSUIP…

Going through a bunch of my screenshots and found some I'd like to share with you all (if that's okay ) Starting off with a slightly tricky approach into Moscow (UUDD) after a medium haul from Dubai! Probably no the best time to scramble for the Print Screen key!! Next was taken at FL410 shortly after Sunset enroute to Dubai: Ready to go on Runway 30R at Dubai! An oldie from when I was flying at BAV - a little dramatic Sunset via the HUD! Nothing better than departing to the Sunset.. Sunrise over the North Atlantic.. Last but not least, the end of ETOPS on the horizon with landfall! Taken from the JFK trip …

I would like to set up a flight from EDDF which now has a new northern runway. I have loaded the scenery, so I need the new SID to avoid confusion, with renamed runways. I thought I would get the latest SID from navdata, EDDF_v16, but it has messed up the proceedures, IE there are no runways or SIDs. I didn't back up the old EDDF.txt which worked fine, minus a runway. The PMDG NAV data is AIRAC 1108. How can I get old of the old EDDF.txt? Many thanks Julian

Not sure what happened but after hundreds of successful flights in the NGX all of a sudden I've had a problem on a couple of landings lately where the left part of the main gear sinks into the ground shortly after touchdown When it happened the first time I felt really embarresed thinking what did I do wrong...did I actually just perform a crash landing...then when it happened the second time I really started to get puzzled and now it just happened again so thought I ask about this seeking some advice what might be causing this. This last time I checked my landing using replay and as far as I could tell it was very nice and smooth and I also had that confirmed wh…

I use RC4 with the NGX, so I need to ensure I hit about 11/12,000' by 40m out from my destination. I use a combination of v/s and vnav to get down. If I am in vnav, and hit my target altitude early, as one tends to do I find that my speed then starts to drop - quite a lot. Looking at FCOM 2 I see in section 11.31.30 this: "The FMC uses a special program called “Energy Compensation...” etc - so it looks like vnav is shaking off speed, to make the resumed descent easier. Is that what is likely happening here? I think so, but would like to clear it up.

My 737 NGX has been working fine until today. Now, starting from cold & dark, I turn on the battery master, place APU switch to on, then onto start. The low oil pressure light & the fault light come on. APU doesn't start. Placing the switch to start again, the fault light goes out, and the APU starts normally. This is interfering with FS2Crew PF flow. All faults are turned off, all faults cleared, and maintenance reset Any ideas how to cure this please? Ray

I hope someone may be able to shed some light on my ignorance. If I am doing a long flight I would normally take off with the departure heading from ATC. Once ATC would tell me to turn to a certain heading, I switch from heading to Nav1 and the aircraft will follow ATC instructions so I don't have to continue to switch headings on a long flight. All I would have to do would be to acknowledge ATC instructions until I reached my cruising altitude and then acknowledge the ATC to tune to the next center but never contact that center and I could fly without having to answer ATC until I reached a point where I am in range for descent. Question is, on the NGX what do I chose t…
