PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

Hello, i installed the new windows 8 on my desktop (clean instal) But when i try to play on a online server.. ( i fly always with my friend) We all have the 737ngx... But everyone has w7 and i'm the only one with w8 and eachtime when i load a online server with the pmdg i crash... ( a fatal error occured) other planes works fine.. Does anyone has this experience yet?

I loaded up the NGX after installing a newer video card. Just went from a GT620 to a GT640, so no big deal. Last night, the NGX loaded up ready for take off as usual (do not have time for the whole start up thing). After just now installing the new video card, FSX loaded up perfectly and so did the NGX. Problem is it's cold and dark. Is there some setting I may have accidentially changed? I'd like to get back to the NGX loading in a ready for take off state. One more dumb question: Been awhile since I looked for the manual that came with the download. Any idea where it's located on my computer? It would be in the default location that I cannot remember.

Hey everyone, I apologise if this seems a bit petty or nerdy, but I fricking love the passenger soundset when you sit behind the wing on the ngx. Unfortunately, when you sit in front of the wing... it rather resembles the sound of having your head out the window of the plane rather than sitting inside. Is there anyway to alter the aircraft cfg to get the soundset to play the 'behind wing' sound for the 'front of wing' view? Hope that makes sense! Chris

they cockpit shots are the -800/900 look ot the air condition panel. This almost made me not buy it because I did't think they modled the differences.

Folks, Is there any way i can silence the Autopilot Disengage WITHOUT HAVING TO PRESS THAT FLSAHING RED A/P BUTTON? I don't mind pressing that, but its a bit annoying having to quickly pan down click it, and quickly pan back up on Final approach ^_^ Of coursem RW operations i guess the NFP disengages and silences? 1. Trim setting on screen? 2., Where blue/brown meet, i have seen some have a heading readout along the horizon (not pictured) Ive had a look through the options menu's but i dont see the option. Is this an option or am i looking for something that doesnt excist?

It's nothing PMDG have done. It's me. I have to uninstall and reinstall the PMDG 737 NGX yet again, as the livery manager can't find the FSX root file even when I navigate it to it. When I point it at a livery file it tells me it's not installed. I'm so hoping if I have to do the above, I will not have to, again, cast myself prostrate before PMDG Admin to get yet another key reactivation. We know one another by first names. I'm thinking there may be a conflict in the way I have my new system configured. My C: Drive is a 512 gb SSD. I have partioned a 500gb drive into 2 x 250gb. Good day, and excuse for my poor english, After full reinstallation of all my PMDG products yesterday, as well as Active Sky 2012 (I also use REX), I installed SP1C. Since then I am facing the following issues: a) engine failures (I had already met this problem before SP1C): this problem sometimes occurs and when it does it is when I am still on the ground so it has no consequences. It has something to do with my joystick calibration and is easily solved by unplugging and plugging again the stick. turbulences and shifts in speed resulting in overspeed warnings. I need to start a new flight from a presaved flight (because of window settings of an external Fmc), so the "last pos" in Fmc is different from the actual position and often, in a default airport, Airac don't match the position of the gate number or isn't in the database, so I've a problem to align Irs, because I can't use the airport coordinates and the only way is to write down and copy the current coordinates from the FsX map. There's a way to force "last pos" in Fmc to shows the actual coordinates? Thank you Luca Italy

Greetings all, I recently reinstalled FSX, along with the NGX (-600/700/800/900). Started FSX, loaded the -700WL version, got the "activation" prompt, entered the info, and the activation was successful. However, I have loaded the same plane (-700WL) several times afterwards, and each time I am getting that same activation prompt. I thought it only needed to be done the first time, and that's it. Any ideas what the issue is? Many thanks.

I have been using the 737NG's auto-land system for many weeks now without major problems. However, just recently, with no obvious link to anything newly installed, the plane is unsteady when rolling out of its landing. It lands with a perfect flare but then tilts onto one wheel then the other and it takes some effort to keep it straight at the same time applying reverse thrust. Any ideas on what I am doing wrong?

Hi Everyone: Recently, when flying the 737NGX - and only with the 737NGX, I get a message about an hour into the flight that my joystick isn't connected and that it would be hard to fly without it. Some research I've done advised that I should start up FSX with the joystick disconnected, and connect when aircraft is at the gate. Elsewhere I read that I should, when it happens, disconnect the joystick, pause FSX for 2 minutes, then plug joystick in. The latter worked only once. Is there a solution to this? Any help is appreciated. FSX, Windows 8, 64-bit. Warren, Toronto, Canada.

I have been watching many FMC tutorials about PMDG 737 and I understood most of it but still in connecting legs I have some problems. I tried using FSCommander forr creating PMDG compatible routes but I still have problems with disconnected legs. Can anyone help me to finally understand it? Is there a way that we can fly the plane together? If not, can someone try using teamviewer to show me the solution to my problems?

Hi, my question is, im wanting to buy the PMDG 737NGX soon and im not sure if my computer is fast enough for it. Computer Specs: HP pavilon dv6 CPU 2.40GHz Intel Core i3 6GB RAM windows 7 64 bit

For some reason, the F/O PFD and Nav Displays are black.The FMC shows, but the PFD and Nav do not. The setting via the FMC is "None" for disabling displays for either Captain or F/O. Therefore, I do not know why the F/O displays are not showing. Stephen

Not a bug, but I can't find any documentation on this so I'll ask here. Yesterday I took off from KSAN using normal procedures, and about 60 seconds after takeoff I got a fire bell and the WHEEL WELL annunciator behind the throttles lit up red. What could have possibly caused this? I'm fairly certain the parking brakes were off when I hit the TO/GA button and I do not have any random failures enabled in the FMC. Thanks.

I have just installed P3D and the Estonian Migration Tool which gives me the ability to load PMDG Aircraft into the P3D program. I have already done it with the JS4100 and then a few alarm bells started ringing. What is the official PMDG Management response to this? Am I breaching the eula? Jon

Hi guys, Just wondering if you can answer a few problems Im having... When flying the PMDG 737NGX on Vatsim, how come when someone flys in or even Taxiing, none of there lights are working?? The only way I can get this to happen is if I turn mine on, theres come on too.. My question is why does my Aircraft have to control other plains on Vatsim to operate there lights? I was flying an airbus and didn't even see this PMDGNGX at night taxiing because it had no lights on but i did an exercise and when I changed Aircraft to the PMDG NGX and turned mine on theres came on... I just think its stupid that this is happening... can anyone shed some light…

Hi all, I recently installed the PMDG 737 NGX base pack. Engine sounds, & button clicks are present and ambient FSX sounds. However altitude callout sounds are not present, even though I have turned them on in the option menu via the CDU. Also missing are some of the other sounds I would expect t o hear, like the fire warning bell, and the A/T autopilot disconnect tones. On the ground with engines shut down, the whine of the recirc. valve ventilation is sometimes there, sometimes not. Are there any simple solutions other than to re-install? Ok, I have the NGX but is it capable of WAAS/LPV approaches and are the databases we use (Navigraph or Aerosoft) contain those kind of approaches? Im so confsued by the different approaches; LPV RNAV GNSS GPS LOC ILS MLS NDB Back Course WAAS, its insane and Im trying to learn all about them. If someone had a list of approaches that the NGX could "legally" fly in the sim that be great! Take Care

Had PMDG737 NGX for week now and was working fine NOW when I go to use it I only see left part of the display doesn't matter what way I move or look at it HUD view stays over to left?

Hi just a quick one has any body purchase something with shipping to Australia from PMDG ?. I was very much interested to buy QRH from PMDG ,the price is about 70 dollars ,but after calculating shipping to Australia Sydney it came about 170 dollars . well I have purchased different things before from US and I must say this is just the most expensive shipping ever got. Even dive gear is about the same . Thanks Petr
