I am soon to reinstalll FSX Gold and many add ons, including the NGX, of course. Is there away to keep my saved flights by archiving them on an external drive? What is the path to saved flights and preferences for the NGX? I am posting a similar thread on the MD11 forum. Thanks, Bruce.

Hi, I have a couple of saved flights that, engines started, airplane ready to go. When I load them, the airplane bounces around rather violently...sometimes I hear "Bank Angle" and then settles down...usually somewhat askew of where I parked it and does the countdown. Autopilot is not engaged yet. Any idea what would be causing it? I tried a few different things and....sounds weird, but...on my limited tests it only seems to happen on the Southwest Airlines livery. The other two I've tried (default and British Air) it's fine. All I did was save the flight with one of these liveries and restart it and the problem was gone.

Guys, i need help with the manuals...it seems everytime i want to find some info out, i look for a minimun of a hour and never find what im looking for, ever. My problem is that since owning the ngx, ive done many autolands but have never had the 'LAND 3', only 'CMD' shows up. I want to know what im doing wrong. Im not able to help myself as these manuals are, in my opinion, usless. Like i said every time i try to find something im always on a wild goose chase between Vol1, Vol2..Vol1 refrences something in Vol2, go to Vol2, cant find it...page numbers make NO SENCE WOT SO EVER! I've been practicing Engine failures during takeoff with the wonderful 'Emergency NGX' from FS2Crew. Can anyone confirm whether or not VNAV is working correctly during a engine fail situation? If VNAV is armed prior to take off it engages at 400'. At this point it should command the FD for a climb at V2 to V2 + 20, until reaching engine out acceleration altitude. It should then command a 'near level climb' to flaps up speed. It currently isn't behaving that way (I think) - VNAV engages at 400' and the FD commands V2 + 20. At the FMC entered engine out acceleration altitude nothing happens. The speed bug just remains at V2 + 20. The solution would be to go speed i…

With the 737 on the FSX I'm facing this odd problem the last time: I start the engines with the APU as normal, the starters cuts out and I can switch on the engine generators. But they won't produce any bleed air and they won't react on my throttle inputs, while the thrust levers are moving and the takeoff configuration warning horn sounds. Another odd fact: The are only at an idle n1 of about 20 %. If I save this panel state and reload it, I got an engine failure and they have miraculously stopped. Hi, I would like to known the right procedure for going around. Here is what i do. For example, I am established on the ILS LOC and GS green on the FMA, the both AP engaged and at approximately 1200 fts the "LAND3" light illuminated. On the MCP, the speed is managed (Vref+5), the heading of the runway axis is displayed (044°), the missed approach level to go (3000') is dosplayed too. When i have visual contact with the ground, i disconnect APs. Hello, I sometimes happens that during the flight (cruising and descent) the cdu freezes and no longer takes as input any data that I shall insert. I enter the data on the scratchpad and when I go to put in input (from the button) disappear from the scratchpad data but do not replace the previous ones. For example it does not allow me to change the runway nor the procedure of arrival (DEP ARR page), I can compile the page "forecast" and will not let me change the speed below FL100 (page DES). Hello, I haven't got this problem before. I have been using PMDG NGX since July 2012. And everything was working perfectly. A few days ago, i wanted to load a new repaint for NGX B739 and i started PMDG Livery Manager. Then i was shocked! Livery Manager didn't see any things. I try to show install directory manuel. But nothing changed. I tried to F1 registry repair tool for elimination some registry fault. But again nothing chaned. The Livery Manager doesn't find my NGX variants. (I have both of them NGX 737 800-900 & 737 600-700 series) End last chance, i try to uninstall and re install NGX main pack (B 737 800-900). But unfortunately, the result was same.…

Hey everyone, Not an urgent issue as far as things go but still worth posting. My livery manager will only let me install one livery - as in, I can only have one livery installed. If I install, say, the AirBerlin livery, that works, and works fine. If I then try to install the AA livery, it overwrites the AirBerlin liv (different file names, I checked) and leaves me with only the AA liv. If I then try to re-install the AirBerlin liv it tells me it's already installed and I'll need to rename the file - the new file overwrites the AA file again! I have owned the PMDG 737 800/900 for awhile now. Yesterday I purchased a new desktop and after installing the PMDG 737 I tried to activate it and it gave me this. "The activation of the fullfillment is denied by the activation policy because max extra activations exceeded. [incident# 7761-968612]" I can provide all the necessary information to prove I bought the software. Can someone give me info on this? How to proceed from here? Anything would be helpful. Thanks

I always set up my flights with failures of all systems of up to 10/hr. Usually all I get is Cabin Altitude fail or something like that. Today I took off from Dulles to Boston. At about 19,000 on the climbout I got a Flt Cont. & ELEC warn. I usually hand fly climb & descent so AP was off. Scanned the panel and realized that I had lost the right Gen. Turned all to #1 Gen NO help. Lost half of the cockpit. Fuel pumps, FMC, Both IRS's went down. AP worked for a little while then I lost it completely. No cooling for the computers. This has now happened to me twice. I am all set to land, gear down, flaps down, airspeed stable at VREF. I am approaching the runway and everything seems nice, then suddenly at about 100-200 feet AGL, the airplane rolls heavy to the left and banks into the ground. On both occasions I have had crash detection off so I have just ignored the crash and pushed TOGA do do a full Go around, and on my second approach I have landed safely. I have been logging over 400 hours with the NGX and this has just happend on my last two flights. The first crash was at EGLL and I was flying manual. Hi all, doing a flight last night YSSY-NFFN. All looked rosey and sweet. Was established on the G/S and LOC ILS 02 at around 165kt, the aircraft appeared to be following the ILS/LOC (Both Magenta diamonds centred) but it suddendly looked like I was still too far from the threshold (around 2-300 meters) and was going to land short. Hi, I'm new to the NGX so I'm still in the process of making mistakes and learning by trial and error. Here's a situation I ran into. Not sure what's related to what but it was in the situation. I'm flying fix to fix...no airways. I have a perfect flight as I reach TC. There are a couple of fixes that are out of the way on up ahead and I'm my own ATC so I go into LEGS and remove them by line selecting a later fix and replacing the first of the two fixes with that one. Looks good. I execute it. About 30 seconds later I get an error message on the FMC that says "No descent path after X" which was the fix before the modification. (What does that error mean?) …

Hi, I have a following problem with pmdg737ngx just before touchdown. I have disabled all addons to eliminate any other possible culprits. What happens is just before touchdown immidetly after 10""feet" gpws call out fsx will freeze for up to 2 seconds then while it unfreezes it appears as you are being fast forwarded these 2 seconds hence making nice landing very difficult. I believe software 'pmdg737ngx' is doing some kind of calculation or loading of some files that causes it...??? Just my guess...
