Hi, I am using the 737NGX under Windows 7 and FSX with an Intel i7 CPU and Nvidia GTX 650 GPU. I'm having a problem with the Taxi and Landing Lights. When in cockpit view the lights do no show outside on the tarmac. They do when I change to outside views. I'm also getting smoke from all three wheels when taxxing or take off even though the brakes are released. I'm also not getting the 80 knots and V1 callout. I'm getting the altitude call outs on approach. I have the latest DXT file running. Any ideas anyone? Thanks Rob

I have set up all of the altitude callouts in the FMC, and also the "approaching decision height" and "minimums" callouts. The altitude callouts all work fine, but for some reason the last two are never used. Does anyone know why that might be the case?

Hello, i have a doubt about how to set the Bank angle selector for each phase of the flight, because on the 767 i remember the FS2CREW says set it to 25 and above 10000ft set it to AUTO (max 30 degrees), but in the 737, the FS2CREW says nothing about it, i just leave it to 30 degrees, it's up on the airline SOP? any 737 pilot can explain me this? Hi all, I have been struggling for a while to understand what do I need to use/configure my NGX before landing based on the charts. I know the concept of DA(H): BARO/RADIO, but what I don't know is what do I need to use. I need to know what I need to use/configure on a precision approach (with a glide path instrument) and with non-procision approach (without a glide path instrument here is the Example: precision approach (ILS): on the chart I am seeing the following, DA(H):2610' (250') on the NGX I have the option to configure the BARO or RADIO. what number (2610 or 250) I need to use and on what settings (BARO/RADIO) non-precision approach (LOC): on the chart I am s…

Hi My question is about panel.cfg modification. I'am using only VC, from obvious reason some area of overhead panel is not so clear, so without zooming or view point change operating is a bit tricky. I'am using "A" button to change view point. Using "A" button will switch view to F/O, then to upper overhead and then to lower overhead, so i must jump through these views. How to modify panel.cfg to skip first two steps and have settings that after using "A" button once i will have lower overhead view ? I was also considering to remove panel cfg entries and textures of 2D panels, will i get better performance by removing of those ?

I purchassed the P.M.D.G 737NGX four weeks ago and have not been able to load it on to my computer. I also have the 747and the 757 on my computer also they loaded with on problem. When I load the setup it goes right throught the complete program right up to the directx loading than it completes without asking for the registration key, I restart the computer go to flight simutator start with a differance aircraft at the gate than load the 737ngx and its there, I set it up for flight with no problem but just after take of fparts of the aircraft start to become transparent than I lose a wing or the tail. Hello fellow simmers, I think I got to about page five looking for answers to the following and found no resolve after a couple of hours searching, I hope you don't mind my creating this post as I am looking for help with the NGX series. I am very new to flight simulation FSX and recently came by the NGX series having followed the " Flight for Tony". Hey guys, this my first time posting here at the forum! So today my computer got diognosed with the malware infecton virus. The laptop person who i got to diognose the problem recomended a complete reinstall of windows. He told me to back up my hardrive as the re install will take my laptop back to factory settings resulting in i would loose everything. The problem is the pmdg 737 ngx If i back up the ngx and then once my computer is reinstalled and i go to reinstall the ngx what will happen?? will my serial code still work? do i ask for a support ticket ??? apoligies as i have never had too do this before Jason Norment

I'm still flying with default FSX real world weather, getting fed up with winds constantly changing and the engines going crazy and overspeeding. The cockpit floods do not show in the external spot view. The parameters are set correctly in the effect text file. [Properties] Cockpit=1 VirtualCockpit=1 Spot=1 Tower=1 Map=1 The cockpit is dark when the floods are on....... Stephen

Hi, just wondering if anyone has tried A2A 3D lights with the 737-800NGX? I have the program and have added lines to the cfg file but the only lights that changed were the landing lights which look pretty good but was wondering how to get the same effect with the nose taxi, strobe and nav lights, any suggestions would be appreciated. Every one keeps saying to let FSUIPC handle your controls, so i finally had enough gump to try it following the tutorials . Sure enough i should of left it alone. All my general planes seem ok but for some reason the NG -the parking brake is on and won't come off. The red banner at the bottom left is on and i can't get it off no how . I was hoping some one could come on face time on their iPAD or Skype and maybe see what's ailing this thing cause she's stuck at the gate rock solid I haven't flown since Nov. cause my Presicion flight Control yoke let go, sent it down to them and they wanted 345 bucks to fix it so i bought a new one for 620 bucks and now stuck again.

Hi, After some time I tryed to load up the NGX again. I can select it in the FSX start menu as normal, however if I click on "Start Flight" FSX crashes to desktop. I don't have a clue what this is, as I don't have changed anything, since my last NGX flight. A reinstallation of the NGX didn't work too. The crash happens on any airport, daytime or weather. It also crahses if switching to the NGX after I started a flight with the default chessna. Any advices? Thanks, Jonathan

Hello brothers en sisters, I want to tell you that I made a special video totday. I want to share it with you.... Its just a remote controlled airplane, a scale model of the PMDG NGX. When loading the flight in FSX is completed I always choose cold and dark via the FMC. I wait for the systems to be initialized and everything's just fine. But when I go into the external view afterwards and then go back to the virtual cockpit I hear the engines as if they were running with full thrust. I have encountered this problem already during my very first flight with the NGX but did not really care about it since I can easily avoid it by not exiting the virtual cockpit after selecting cold and dark. It's pretty annoying, though. Any suggestions on how to fix that?

I have just posted the above interface (LUA Code) over at Pete Dowson's forum. The EFIS is fully implemented, however the Autopilot has limited functionality because some of the data needed is hidden (until the SDK arrives). Its useful until GoFlight produce something. Hi, Does anybody know of another FMC for the PMDG NGX which only connects via USB to a PC? I know about the flyengravity one (http://www.flyengravity.com/page/shop/7/6), but I wonder if there are any alternatives. The price of the flyengravity one is quite steep as well. Opencockpits' FMC must connect via USB + VGA which is a problem for my setup, so that's why I asked for only a USB connection. Hope somebody knows.

Is it possible to import a flightplan created by the planner of FSX into FMGC? Is it possible to use the standard ATC, and if not: is there another ATC as addon that is compatible with 737 ngx? with regards Rafal Ziolkowski
