Hi Pilots There is no LLZ26 approach in the FMC to set up the DME/LLZ course to RWY 8 at Innsbruck. As seen in the Tutorial there it should be. Can you help me on this topic?

Hi I am trying to link my potentiometer to the knob Circiut Breaker Bright in the overhead of the 737ngx cockpit. I do it through event control and it is working fine with buttons but the axis is not in sync! I mean the full range of the knob in the cockpit is perform when I have just turn the potentioimeter maybe 10 degrees? Best Fredrik

Since i got my new pc and installed my ngx, i have two problems. cant save panel state, and every once and a while when selecting an approach i get a "program pin error" on the capt fmc. I then select the approach on the other fmc and the error is gone. Any guesses? and whats up with the 2 keys they send ya? always wondered that? I've had the NGX since the day it was relesed and never had a problem until i used the other key on my new pc. I wonder if it's a fsuipc problem?? -Harry

Hello! Recently i make a new installation in my system including Windows 8 Pro an FSX and their addons when i installed two new SSD. I have Windows 8 in one SSD and FSX and all their addons in the other. I have a question regarding FSX performance and Nvidia Inspector Settings. I've all important tweaks in FSX, i'm for years in FSX world. In this new installation i use the AVSIM guide for setup FSX and Nvidia Inspector. Ok, now my question... Hi, So I was just wondering around my controls menu and I came across the "Sensitivities" area. Has anyone noticed how real 737 yokes have low sensitivity? Well, today I decided to see what it would be like to lower the aileron and elevator sensitivities on my Saitek Yoke, and the immersion rocketed in the NGX! If you haven't done this, I strongly recommend that you go over to FSX and do it now. No more violent responses in the NGX! B)

my NGX has a problem starting the engines with one will start up all the way and the 2nd will not. The thrust levers are moving in the VC, but N1 stays locked around 20.4% I'm using a Saitek Pro Flight setup. I can only have one engine running normal left or right, its the last engine that gets started thats having the problem. If the left engine is running and im starting the right i get the smoke puff from start up and thats all. Its become a real problem using VAFS as the engines need to be shut down to start the flight. The only way is to pick a plane thats running like stock 737 load everything i need to for VAFS then jump to the NGX and hit start flight. Most …

Now, I might be wrong, but I think that you should press the switch before rotating it from auto to ground in a real plane, but in the sim, it just rotates. Is the animation wrong?

this plane doesnt seem to offer very many keystrokes to activate switches,unless ive been looking in the wrong places. im trying to program one of my ch switches to bring up the comm radio. any ideas or direction thanks

I flew the NGX from EGGD to LEAL. The flight plan fuel : Fuel used : 10569 lbs Reserve fuel : 5709 Total: 16277 Based on the reserve fuel, i entered 5.0 as reserve. Heres where the confusion lies : Why has the ''useing res fuel'' warning came up if i have 7.2 in the tank?

Hey guys, I bought a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 yesterday and I was wondering is it possible to set the ngx up so the FMC shows on.the tablet? I know you can do this with airbus x so I thought surely pmdg have modelled this too... If its possible could someone explain to me how to do it or point me in the right direction. :-) Thanks, Dan

I am flying as FO and have the MA switch set to the FO. I don't hear the approaching minimums audio alert even though its been set in the baro on the EFIS. Bug?

I am a 24/7 carer for my wife, getting on in years and enjoy flight simming. Ex RAF and glider pilot (not any more). I build my own systems, currently have a three monitor setup runninf off an AMD Radeon HD 7900 series graphic card. Mainboard is an Asus P8Z77-V mounting an Intel i5-3570K CPU (overclocked) 3.40GHz +. Memory is 12gb vengance, a WD1002HD cached with a crucial adrenaline 64gb SSD, all this in a HAF XM case. All in all I am fairly pleased with this system,it handles everything I have thrown at it (including FSX with VFR Horizon Generation X and Airfields maxed out in Eyefinity setup). What's the preferred way to flying a back course using autopilot? Today I flew it with LNAV using the FMS. Since there isn't a REV or BC button on the MCP I assumed this is the only way to do it?

Apologies if this already been covered. I did several searches and didn't find anything that helped. I would like to keep reloading PMDG 737 NGX saved flights to practice procedures etc. But if I quite a flight and then reload that flight or any other saved flight the NGX opens with a blank panel. No animations are working either. But it seems the sim is active but no switches work etc. I thought that maybe it was just that the panel state was not loaded. So tried to boot the pdu by clicking and holding the menu button. But the pdu is dead so can't go that route. I've just installed the March 2013 AIRAC data purchased from Navigraph. However the FMC/CDU now displays a message saying that the NAV DATA IS OUT OF DATE. This is the first FMS database update on a very recent installation of the PNDG 737NGX. I was not getting this message before the update. I apologise if this question has been raised before. I did search and found threads describing this problem when the year changed (DEC-JAN) however this is not the case with my update. Is there a fix. If not is all ok if I just clear the message and carry on? All help appreciated. Bruce

The functions I like to link are: Auto Brake SPD REF N1 Set XPDR Main panels DuS Lower DU and some more Each of the rotary switches have about five diff... function but if you ex. are trying to create a mouse macro for those functions, not all but a few have same functions ID!? Hey guys! Currently enroute ESSA-LEAL and got my first failure in the NGX after enabling service based failures a couple of weeks ago. The Master Caution Light is illuminated with ELEC shown on the recall panel. Looking at the overhead panel I have Source OFF and GEN OFF BUS for GEN 2 and DRIVE 2 light is also illuminated looking at the STANDBY POWER section of the overhead panel. Looking in the FMC under the failures section I have one active failure in red under Electrical saying 'GEN 2 DRIVE DISC'. Using the QRH all I have found is 'LOSS OF BOTH ENGINE DRIVEN GENERATORS' but in my case luckily enough I only seem to have a problem with GEN 2 so where can I f…

Turns out this wonderful aircraft in flight freezes every 5 or 10 minutes, I mean the complete simulator even going to be the typical message .... (no answer), but automatically returns to life alone for refrozen after a while.
