PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

So I decided to get in my NGX to fly a KDTW-KELM flight. Then I went to the FSX map to check runway lengths of KELM. When I closed the map, my NGX started acting up. The switches on the overhead and the throttle quadrant all disappeared. There were big holes in the cockpit where you could see through outside. Also, the PFD and ND screens disappeared, with a big piece of metal in the PFD saying "HUD Offline." Then in my ND, there was a giant picture of the standby compass mounted in the middle of the cockpit under the overhead panel. Then, I check my outside view. It gets worse! How is a pilot guided laterally when using the HUD on takeoff since there is no FD?

Hi, The other day I wanted to take the 738WL out for a spin, but when I loaded FSX it was missing and all the other models were there. I reinstalled the baseback and the liveries to get another problem. My new problem is that on the registration plate on the 2D panel there is a number behind the registration (fx. N394DA1 or D-ABMC2). In the VC it´s shown without the number. Anyone who have experienced the same and how can I fix the problem ? Best regards Peter Lund

In the 737-800 NG model, how does one know the autobrakes are actually operating. I use the autobrakes on every take-off and landing and certainly know to simply look at the radial dial to see what mode is enabled, but is there another visual indicator in the HUD or elsewhere that show the autobrake is engaged. I ask not that I am having any trouble flying the NG, but more or less my curiosity about seeing some kind of visual as a checkpoint. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi, Does anyone have a list of offsets for the PMDG 737NGX? I have looked in the FSUIPC docs and the PMDG docs but can't find any info on custom offsets or any other offsets. Thanks Rob

There is a hole in which you can see through to the ground below, It's located at bottom left corner of the lower display, the one which is between the 2 FMCs. Hope they can fix this, as it really ruins the immersion factor. Tried to upload an image but got the, you are not authorized to upload that type of file message.

Hi to all, I am flying from the start with this beautiful addon, and know that I am a little bit more equipped with hardware ( MCP, EFIS, Radio etc ), I want to fly without the VC. So I open each gauge ( FPD, EFIS FMC ), I undock them and put them on my second screen. As soon as I put more that 1 window, I loose 5 fps per window, so with this 3 gauge, I go from 25 FPS to 8 to 10 FPS. If I put FSX in Full screen then every thing goes back to normal, but I prefer to remain in window mode, so that I can use my 3rd monitor for my electronic flightbag. Any suggestion to succeed this ? During my last flight from EDDN to EGGD, my fuel calculations were off somewhat as the FMC informed me crossing the east coast UK. So, being the top pilot that i am B) looking for the closest airport ( with scenery (EGKK Gatwick) i punched it into the Alt. Des page. all good.But now what?..no options to do anything, like load a star ect into the new Destination. After watching lots of pictures on airliners.net of real 737ng cockpit and some pics of 737 ngx I realized that my honeywell mcp has very little fontsize numbers compared to the collins's one.... Hi Guys, My overhead panel on pressurization indicates 'AUTOFAIL' it happened during one of the flight and has failed to be corrected despite of all my effort to do maintenance using FMC. Gentlemen: Breaking up tutorial #1 in flight phases is not easy for a busy family father..... To be able to do those tutorials over several nights, I try to save the flight in different phases. (Pressing Alt, Flight, Save, - and title of course). Problem is that at several stages of flight, when I save, and then loads it i.e. the next evening - the flight appears with no displays - dark cockpit. At the first attempts it worked (I have saved "Ready for takeoff" and "Cruise" ok, but for passing 10 000, - which is a proper time when training the final phase of descent and landing, - NoGO! Any hints or tip appreciated. Regards Baba

Last night I was messing around with Coolsky's DC-9 and found that I could print out the data for takeoff weights, flap settings and fuel. I was wondering if there is a program that is like this for the NGX?

Hello, During the last few weeks i have tried, unsuccessfully, to write a program for my Overhead panel using the SDK NGX. Since i know nothing about C++ i didn't manage to send values to the aircraft. I hope this is the write place to write this: Could i find somewhere a document which explains how to write a simple program which get's buttons commands from a joystick and send it to the aircraft? Hi fellow NGX drivers! I've found myself having to use the speedbrakes pretty much on every descent/approach I do when complying to ATC instructions and flying most of the descent using VNAV and I also think the speedbrakes are not that effective. I know this has been discussed before but just wanted to ask what the final verdict was, is the speedbrake's effectiveness in the NGX on par with the speedbrake in the real NG?

Hi everyone i have my beautiful ngx 8/900 and its a greatest ac ever, but i have some problem with the ND route lines. when there is a tight turn on route, the line starts to wink and become crayz. i hope it can be fixed easly for defeloppers. EREK

Hi everyone, I have used 737NGX for a long time, but now i have noticed that, on 737-800, on the pneumatics panel, there should be PACK lights. But they're actually PACK TRIP OFF lights. The PACK TRIP OFF lights should only be on 737-600/700.

Hi, I have this issue where occassionally the speed increases on the approach, causing quite almost a fatal landing. I can't get down to why this is happening, so I thought maybe I could get some help here, as I'm completely puzzled. I have set up the FMC to follow a route between EGGP and EICK. The entire flight went well, the AP followed all waypoints to T/C and down to approach. I have began my descent with VNAV at TOD, and set the altitude knob to 16000 as instructed by the FMC to descent the next waypoint.
