PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

Hi, Ever since I have installed the PMDG 737NG on my laptop FSX seems very difficult to run. Even before I can start the flight FSX hangs and restart. I get " FSX encountered a fatal error". Then if the aircraft loads and the flight opens, some PMDG aircraft open with a cockpit like in the picture and never loads. (This problem is only when i use certain livery dowloaded from other aviation forums and websites.) Secondly when i change the view from cockpit to the outside of the aircraft sometimes only the skeleton of the aircraft is shown. ANd there are a number of problems I can go on writing about. Can someone please tell me how to get rid of the fatal errors? …

Prepping for flight during setup activites I noticed I was unable to switck from 2d panel to vc or outside view.Has anyone experienced this?

When i'm setting up the overhead panel, and the fmc and I want to save by using the FSX save function, it tells me it saved, but when I want continue where I left off the next day, nothing was saved. Why is this happening??, please help. Also its been happening with MD-11 flights as well. I'm running Windows 7 (64bit), just wondering if this has anything to do with it. as I have just bought a new computer. Please can somebody guide how to fix this problem. Thank you

I am having a problem with the effect the wind as on the airspeed of the aircraft, the problem seems to effect more when on finals. The weather conditions are variable winds, I know this should have effects but not too the degree it has! Anyone know a way to fix this? Cheers Robert Ainley

I can't believe I've actually paid for this. He totally screwed up departure at flight #4, I hope he is not a RW pilot. FMC (CDU) has been wrongly programmed for selected SID and even worse flown. Unbelievable...

The four different NGX - 737 Boeing liveries all initialise (Activate) and work fine, but of the two down loaded liveries in 800 and 900 series do not Activate and appear cold and dark with none of the gauges, switches or FMC activated, they do not work. Has anyone else have had this problem and if so what is the fix I have the service packs installed.

Approaching LOWI on the LOC26 approach, I was simply too high. So I decided to go M/A and went back up to 9500, heading off to RTT NDB. Once stable and returning to RTT, I then started to re-programme the approach into the FMC. It was straightforward enough to enter the LOC26 approach in again, but I wanted to remove the "Hold at RTT" entry... and trying to delete the hold, FSX hung. No way to get out other than task manager to quit the process... OH well, there went an evening's time... I only find few references to such incidents here. I was wondering and trying ( but failed ) if it is possible to merge CS Weather Radar into 737 VC ? I think there is a nice spot for WXR, if remove HDG then in the center console there is a nice place exactly for WXR. I have merged CS radar into QW146 - working and looking superb, but somehow cannot do this for 737. Anybody tried this ?

Was following along Tutorial #2, and everything went according to what's written. However, when I came to page 0.00.79 to set the trim, I noticed the AT P/RST light came on (above the ND). The QRH tells me to control thrust manually (the engines aren't on yet) or reengage the AT. Whenever I do reengage the AT, the switch goes back to the off position and the light comes on again. Hello all, Until yesterday I had no problems with my NGX. In particular I could save a flight (using the save/load feature of FSX) and when I loaded it I was automatically back to the appropriate panel state (which is automatically saved when FSX saves a flight). But now, whenever I load a saved flight, it loads with the "default startup" NGX panel state, which is very annoying when you are at FL330!. If I have time (before crashing) to manually load the right saved panel state, my flight recovers fine. In summary, it seems my NGX still correctly saves the panel state when I do a FSX save, but has lost the ability to automatically reload it when I do an FSX load. …

I use Ezdok for my views, and with it, I changed the default pilot's view that came with it. However, I didn't realize until later that the HUD requires precise positioning, and that's hard to do with Ezdok. is there a way I can get a default pilot's view, assuming there is such a thing? N Brazen

As stated FSX locks up with the grey screen of dread. But only when clicking something on the CDU? I looked at the event log and I get this. i7core 2.8GHZ GeForce GTX 480 Just Activesky2012 and CS2crew in use. Another frustrating Windows 7 user experience

Good morning everyone. New problem, and I cannot figure it out. I am loading flights as usual with FMC. All activated, but when I take off vertical climb shoots to 6-7000 ft per min. Totally unstable. Autopilot will not engage. Am I missing something? I have not had any problems till now.

Hi, I was looking at the captains preflight flows from FS2crew and there couple items I'm wondering where they are. The first one is "Gyro Caging control" it says to call then release. Guess how do I test the oxygen? Look in the FCOM, but I could not find anything on it, it was probably there but I just didn't see it.
