PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

Hi folks, I've recently noticed that with the HUD in view, sometimes some of the runway lights disappear! I notice this in LOWI approach Rwy 26 as an example. The moment the HUD is raised, the runway lights re-appear. Note: landing lights / taxi light / rwy turnoff lights don't have an influence on this (I'm aware that the windshield wiper gets lit by the landing lights but that's no biggie) Does anyone have a clue as to what might be causing this? Hello, was just wondering if others are receiving this message? So the plane does not follow the proper descent and I have to react quickly to get back on course. Any one else having this problem... and does this really happen in real life and what is anyone doing about it? I mean sometimes the plane just needs to drop a thousand feet in 8 nautical miles and then the FMC displays the message and stops descending and then I am having to descend very step to get back on course. Understand the problem?

I am about to download/install a 737 livery but without success.There is no problem with MD-11 liveries. I noticed that the 737 livery has a file extension of .PTP and I wonder what I need to open the file and install the livery. Hubert Werni

After loading FMC for a Flight Planner loaded flight, I have gone to the FMC and selected Setup and entered in a name ( KPHXKLAS) to save its panel state. It NEVER shows up afterward in attempting to reload it. What am I doing wrong???

My PMDG 737-900NGX, and PMDG 737-900NGX WL Virtual Panels are partial for some unknown reason (screenshot attached). The panel.cfg for both 900NGX planes alias the PMDG 7370800NGX Panel.cfg as does the PMDG 737-800NGX-WL. Both the PMDG-800NGX and PMDG 737-800NGX WL Virtual Panels display as complete normal panels with no problem. The problem shows up in only the 900NGX models. All virtual panels in all other planes have no problem. This is something that has raised its head only in the past few days for totally unknown reasons. Hi people. I'm following tutorial 2 of the PMDG 737 and it tells me to select the rwy 26 LLZ approach. However, in my DEP-ARR page, there is no LLZ approach and there is only RNAV, LOC and NDM approaches. I selected LOC approach thinking it was the same thing but when I got to the part where it told me to set the speed at OEV18, I got lost. There was no OEV18 on my legs page and There was a hold at Rattenburg which I couldn't remove. I'm pausing my flight for now, afraid I would mess up and I really need help!

I have tried several times to save a panel state with no sucess. I have loaded my FMC using a flt Plan with Flight Planner, was sent to the correct airport and loaded my FMC. Than I want to FMC Setup and supposedly saved the panel state with a titled name. At times the page indicated it was loading, at other timed not. When I tried opening a loaded panel state the title has never showup. Any suggestions???/ Thanks

When trying to fly from Chicago to Washington Dulles, the SID for Dulles is rather long and when typing it all into the FMC it will not take it all due to the VNAV saying VNAV log full. Was just wondering if there was anyway to increase the size of the log file or if anyone else has gotten this message. Its not a big thing. I just have to enter half of the flight info and then type the rest 2/3 of the flight... Thank you David Corkran.

Hello everyone: I know that some of you have had some interesting problems progressing and getting fixed rather sooner than later. But, I have came to a conclusion that some of you have been having lots of complaints of the PMDG 737-800/900 NGX N1 fan not being there, on not in the correct position. If that is the case, I have a solution that you should read below. Step 1: Select the NGX model that you plan to fly, or currently just want to fly around with; doesn't need to be a specific livery. Yesterday after shutting down the engines I could still hear the distinctive high rpm fan buzz. After restarting the engines and running up to high RPM (in the buzz range) the buzz was no longer present at idel anmd after shutdown. It's as if the software which controls the level of buzz was not being executed so at low RPM so the sound latched on.I don't think this is SP1 related as I've noticed before that the cockpit is often not as quiet after shutdown as it was before start up, as if some orphan sounds were still running. But this is the first time I've noticed a sound as obvious as the fan buzz.Kevin Hall

I've been fighting various performance problems with FSX (crashes at end of flights and not starting properly) and have to decided that I want to completely uninstall and reinstall the game. I've got DVD's, service bulletins, and NGX install and bulletins in hand. I know that PMDG recommends installing FSX then starting it and beginning a flight before installing each bulletin and before installing their product. I also know that a lot of folks (me included) move uiautomationcore.dll to the FSX root. There are other optimization recommendations out there as well. So, if you were going to begin from scratch, how would you do it to ensure the most reliable gameplay?…

Ive had this problem before...I cant figure out what Im doing wrong...This is what happened I was on ILS for RWY 36 at ENZV (not 100% sure about the rwy so no need to correct me there ;-) ) I was flying with AP and A/T speed engaged at 160 kts... I disengaged the AP and pressed the Speed button on the mcp to disengage the speed mode but keep the A/T armed... I got control over the throttles and slowed down to my approach speed... When at about 50 ft or something similar, the engines spooled up to about 70 n1 or something similar (probably toga). Hey Guys i just purchased this plane and i would like to ask this question. iv passed fl130 and when im climbing the engines are screaming to get to its cruising altitude even when i have it set to 1200 fpm....its so unrealistic because on the real 737 u barely hear the engines when theie climbing..like the engines are in the red on power and in the real 737 they climb at like 89 on power... when i cruise it much quieter. and no i dont have a headwind. can anyone tell me why the engines scream when climbing. like fulllllll power

Dose anyone else think the AP is a little aggressive when ajusting the pitch to keep on the VNAV speed during the climb?

After reinstalling FSX. Default fsx airplanes are working normally. NGX airspeed , alt. and engine gauges are blank. Any suggestions?

Nothing serious (I think), but… When flying online (just using FSHost) it was sometimes mystical why some of my mates where only able to recognize me as a Cessna instead of a B736 or so. I checked therefore the aircraft.cfg in order to identify the data that might be used to trigger the correct information and I found some stuff that really surprised me.
