Hello, A few questions here but please be patient reading this post - thanks. I am considering purchasing this aircraft package but am not sure if I will be happy with it. Firstly and most importantly I am a casual flight simmer. I am wondering if this aircraft can be selected in a fully started condition - eg electonics on, tests completed, engines running etc so that all I need to do is program the FMC (or is it the FMS?), taxi and take off. I don't mind starting from 'cold' but at times just want to get into the air without all the 'procedures' of starting up. Hello Everyone! I want to let you know that I have played FSX with Acceleration pack plus the PMDG 737NGX plus the PMDG 737NGX 600/700 Expansion pack. I've crashed the Boeing 737-700WL while I'm playing but the error message box said Fatal Error occurred and then next error message box said Microsoft Flight Simulator is restarting and returns to the Microsoft Flight Simulator start up App. Does anybody know how to fix this problem? Hi there Have recently purchased NGX, installed fine but having a strange one and wondered if anyone has had a similar issue. I go through pre start and start up fine, engines fire i do my after start checks then goto advance throttles which is registered by the throttles in the ngx cockpit moving but no thrust on the eicas and no engines turning?. I have my throttles and nearly everything through fsuipc and have them assigned as "throttle1" but not calibrated as per numerous forum posts. As the throttles are advancing in the NGX cockpit whether i advance my saitek or press f3 this leads me to believe it isnt a software issue but a newbie pilot issue but for the life of …

Hell everyone! I've spotted the white square on the top left screen during the FSX with PDMG 737NGX during gameplay, I can use a mouse and drag the corner or side of the white square it to make it bigger. Please let me know to findout how do I manage to get rid of this problem. I do have Intel Core i7 , with 8GB of ram, XFX AMD Radeon HD 6950 1gb video card I'm running MS Windows 7 Home Edition. Hello, Just on the tailend of studying the FMC section in FCOM2 which has been readable and interesting. although I did not completely absorb everything on offer. Just a question regarding route changes and terrain in the FMC. If I was to plan a manual approach into an airport and selected a runway extension with the default G/S and their was a terrain conflict, would the FMC permit this modification? In another example if I decided to use one of my five alternate airports and selected "Direct To" and Mt Everest (or some other obstacle) was between my point and the alternate airport would the FMC construct a safe pathway to the alternate airport or fall back on the GP…

Ok so I have a brand new computer with the PMDG 737NGX installed and for some reason I can hear the engine sounds just fine but there are zero cockpit sounds. It was the first time I loaded the aircraft and I realized after moving a few switches and pushing a few buttons that there was no sound in the cockpit except for the engines.

Hello Everyone! So I have been flipping through the pages of the documents that came along with my PMDG 737NGX. And no where (that I can find) that tells me how to determine my cruiz altitude. Is there a proper equation to calculate the realistic alt? Usually what I do is stay above FL20 (I fly across states) usually FL250-FL270. So if anyone has any tips/tricks to how to get that information, that would be great! -Thanks Valley.

Hi Guys, I'm having trouble the PMDG 737-700 not developing power. I'm pretty sure it is an incorrect setting. it is configured light on fuel...light on payload...and not using a reduced power take-off. Yet it only climbs to about 6000ft ASL (much higher altitude selected on MCP, and no RNAV crossing restrictions) and doesn't accelerate past the flaps up maneuvering speed (bug speed higher). Auto-throttle is armed, and I've tried with and without use of TOGA. I stumbled across a service pack (#1) and it said it fixed an issue with the IAS when TOGA was used...I've downloaded it, and plan to install it tomorrow, but it doesn't seem to address my specific issue. Hi all, A couple of weeks ago I finally decided to (try to) master the NGX's HGS. I found a detailed manual of a similar model and read it through and, with some practice, I must say I'm impressed. However I'm having the airspeed part. I've handflying, doing short hops with no AP/AT and, after reducing N1 to climb power, then cruise, then to idle for initial approach, I'm having trouble controlling my airspeed with the HUD (setting speeds via either the MCP or FMC). I set an N1 "by feel" and following the vector does keep my airspeed in check for the most part. Hello flying world. I have been messing around with my graphics card, so that may be the problem, but I have noticed that the computer screens have been getting blurry. All knobs and switches and lettering around them along with the keys on the FMC are very sharp, but all the computer screens are slightly blurry and they used not to be. Did not know if anyone else is having this problem and what they did to fix or might know what the problem is. Any help would be appreciated.

after i reinstalled fsx my 737 is not working the plane loads however when i get it into the simulator all the screens are black none of the buttons work and there are no blades in the engine. how can i fix this? i thought about re downloading the plane and using the repair option that is usually in the installer however i dont have the extended download service is there any way i can purchase the service so i can try to reinstall the plane.

Every so often when I go to do my engine start up I will get an "engine fail' on one engine. I checked the quiick reference handbook and one of the steps is too " motor the engine for 60 sec. ". That's after N2 decreases to 20 % and I put the engine start switch to ground. What does motoring the engine mean?

Hi to all here,I m here again with another help 's request. As majority of fsx simmers I fly using Virtual Cockpit view.of course I ve setted up my view in the better way for me. The problem is that accelerating,decellerating,turning left or right(even on ground)my point of view "shift" left,right,forward,backward...everytime I turn,or accelerate etc. I have to center again my point of view. It s not a big problem...but I really would like to find a solution to stop this. I ve already changed "momentumeffect " to false into "cameras.cfg",but this just attenuates this effect ... thanks for any help Luca

Hello, I was wondering if there was a way to get the throttles to go to idle thrust when on the ground. Right now I have it setup through fsx. But when I taxing and bring the throttles back to idle, they don't go all the way, if I press a button to cut the throttles the livers in the game move slightly back and the engines then go all the way to idle. It there a way to fix that so when I move my saitek lever to idle the ones in the game move to full idle?

I have seen different videos and people do these things in different ways and I wanted to make sure I understand the proper speeds to use. Prior to takeoff I have seen people setting their speed to the v2 speed on the MCP, while others have set the MCP speed to v2+20. Is this influenced by the wind at the time of takeoff like the vref speed on landing? In determining vref the speed should be set to vref +5 in calm winds and it is my understanding that the fmc number is the vref number +5. I get a bit confused though in the calculations when it gets windy with gusts. In a situation where the wind is 20kts my understanding is that in that situation the speed would …
