    Hi, A lot of airports aren't equipped with an ils runway and you have to manual land but is there a way to let the plane follow a glideslope and manual land the last couple hindered feet, or is there a way to bet close to the runway or line up with the runway and manual land the rest of the way

But some liveries still availlable on avsim and other places are not specificly in that format. So two questions, 1 Where can I find those .ptp files? 2 What is the procedure now to install liveries outside PMDG Operations Center. Thanks all. Bat

  8. I noticed this my last few flights and I wonder if anyone knew how I could fix this. I'll do a derated takeoff with a climb 2. I takeoff fine and I engage my autopilot. Cruise is set to be FL220. The climb progresses as scheduled and the engines kick in for a stronger climb at the higher altitude. The problem is that when I get up to around FL220 my panels show that I am still in climb mode and it keeps pushing back my TOC on the map. This happens at waypoint after waypoint where I am supposed to be at cruise. I only started noticing this with derated takeoffs. I am not programming the required temp into the FMC as I don't have topcat. Could this lack of info be causing t…

    Can you guys help me and check the following? For GW of about 161000lb, no winds, standard temp, pressure, and elevation: 1. Minimum breakaway thrust 2. Time in seconds from 0 to 10kt at 34% N1 3. N1 setting to maintain 18-20kt taxi 4. Time to come to a complete stop from 20kt at idle thrust Thank to anyone that can supply me with this info.

    So what is this "warning" sound I hear on nearly every flight : 1. cruising 2. only amber lights overhead on pressurization panel is "Auto Fail" and cruise altitude has been replaced by a series of dashes 3. goes away when autopilot disabled.     2nd try!! After loading flight info into FMC and setting up panel I triead to Save the panel state, it indicates it is loading however it doesn'e appear. Any suggestions??

    Gentlemen,Those of you who bought Shade probably know how it works, at startup it inserts the modified sky textures in /textures folder while preserving the original ones by creating a temp directory in /textures. I found out that, probably my fault somehow not waiting for shade to cleanup on exit that I lost the original files. I did not like how Shade made the NGX cockpit look too dark so I decided not to use it. Not seing any improvement, I checked the timesamp on the files, all 140 sky*.bmp had an oct 2011 date and no backup to be found.. So i had to install fsx on a VM just to get the original textures back..The moral of the story, make sure you backup the files you…
