Ok guys it makes me really sad seeing some of you complaining about PMDG's works and efforts and for not releasing the tutorial 2 yet.They have some issues to deal with before they finnish the second tutorial, and for me, this is absolutely the right approach from PMDG, please respect it. I'm on approach. Gear Up. Flaps 5, Flaps 10. So far so good. Throttle is minimal. I extend flaps to 15 and hear a horn. I've tried a black button on the overhead panel (lower right) and also the right hand side of the throttle quadrant without any luck. When I extend the gear or increase N1 to over 45% the horn stops. Is there a way to silence the horn ?

Ciao to everyone,I need some help to fix my problem.. As always I set autobrakes and I arm it before landing,but since some months now I notice that as soon as I touch runway on landing I see "red brakes word" on monitor when in really i don''t touch pedals... Just a small point really, the ALT INTV needs to be activated in climbing but is it the same for reducing climb? on page 0.00.69 of the tutorial, the MCP is lowered to 2000 feet, but there isn't a mention of the ALT INTV button? Thanks

I'm on decent. Flaps 5, Flaps 10.... N1 about 50%...gear up. Speed decreases......Flaps 15. So far so good. I capture the glideslope and reduce N1 to below 45% - a horn sounds. The only way to stop it is to lower the gear or increase N1 to more than 46%. Is there a way to cancel the horn ? I've tried the small black button on the overhead panel "Alt Horn Cutout" and the black button on the Throttle Quadrant "Horn Cutout" without success. Is there a way to stop this horn ?

Hi I have a problem with EZDOK and my PMDG737NGX. I installed EZDOK, everything worked fine. But when i open a flight with the PMDG737, and go into the camera addon, nothing happens. The aircraft isn't loaded into the camera addon, i can't add a new camera stand, because i get an error and EZDOK closes. And because i deleted assignments in the settings of fsx, i can't move arround anymore in the aircraft. Can someone please help me? Tnx! Ruud

Hi I downloaded EZDOK today, intalled it and runned the EZCA config file. It all worked fine. But when i load the PMDG 737 and start EZDOK, the aircraft isn't opened in the EZdok camera addon. I can't move arround anymore because i removed the key assignments. And i can't add a new camera stand, then i get an error: Acces violation at addres 00424CEC in module EZCA.exe. Read of addres 00000004. Can someone please help, because i don't know what to do! Gr Ruud

Hi there, I've been having issues with my computer recently. I've since reinstalled windows (twice ) and obviously had to reinstall flight sim together with all the addons, including all of my PMDG aircraft. I've since had my NGX reactived, re-downloaded and reinstalled. On initial startup of the sim, the NGX was as I'd expect, fully integrated and interactive, no problems. After having a flight and finishing for the night, I shut the computer down and went to bed. The next day, I tried to load it up again, the displays were of a similar quality to that of the default 737 and the panels and switches were no longer interactive. I uninstalled the NGX, reinstalle…

Having fun with the 737 that I just purchased! I downloaded my first flight plan from SimBrief and figured out how to get the FMC to load it. I am new to this FMC stuff and flight plans but I got enough of it to work that the plane actually flew the route (KORD => KJFK). I guessed at an approach, ILS 4R. When I got near JFK the plane did everything once I reset the MCP Altitude. The plane came in for a perfectly aligned landing on 04R. The only problem is I guess I did something wrong and the plane was going to fly over the runway at like 50'. I am sure it was pilot error. (I have only gone through Tutorial 1 once). I just purchased the 737 NGX and let me say it is awesome. I have owned many planes over the years including the Concorde, 727, 737, 747, 767, DC10, and more. But ths NGX is the best I have ever seen. Hats off to PMDG. So with that said I am wondering why with EVERYTHING shutdown I still hear noise in the cockpit. Air noises as if the fans or something were still on. I flew and landed and turned off the APU, engines, disconnected the battery, everything. Yet the cockpit still had what sounded like fans or engine sounds. Am I missing something here? BTW, there were no other jets parked next to me. Not a big issue at all, just wondering. JC P.S. Hi, today I found out that, if at night I turn the cockpit flood light on, either dim or bright, in the external view the cockpit is completely dark, as if I kept the flood light off. Is that normal?

Hi Not sure if this is a PMDG or fsx issue. I have run both ASE and REX and am getting very strange wind behaviour. It veers, backs and does 180 deg changes in the space of seconds when in the cruise, climb and descent. I have selected wind smoothing and variance suppression in FSUIPC. Any ideas as to the cause and solutions? Also I have CH throttle quad and on takeoff I advance the throttles to 40% and then engage the A/T. It thrust advances to the programmed thrust level but when I move the throttle levers to the max it trips the A/T switch. Manual override is set to never in the setup. Any ideas to fix the problem welcome. Thanks Craig
