Evening, I've recently reinstalled and reactivated my PMDG 737 on a new computer. After the installation, the aircraft worked fine. Once I turned off my flight sim and loaded it up again, the panels become unresponsive and, well, they no longer have switches. For it to work, I have to uninstall and reinstall it :| Any ideas how I can sort the issue out? Many thanks in advance for the replies

  3. Hello, I was looking for a website that can supply me with custom levers to the Saitek Throttle Quadrant. The levers should look like a 737, but a 767, 747 or 777 is good enough. Just that they are modeled from a Boeing aircraft and not to old! Most pleasant would be if the factory is located in Europe or USA. But Europe is most preferable! But here is the important part, a bit important, and that is that the levers are adapted to fit 1, not 2, but 1 throttle quadrant. I could buy another quadrant but that would add another 50 dollars and shipping, so as I said the levers that are adapted to 1 quadrant would be preferable. I hope someone can answer this questi…

  4. PMDG 737NGXers.... I recently upgraded my PC - only the case & some drives were kept!. Went to a Z77 mobo, way more RAM, a primary SSD, and Windows 8. I fully reinstalled FSX and all add-ons. Things went well, but I was leaving the PMDG 737NGX for last, fearing that because it was the most complex, it would be a tricky install. And of course in the middle I updated to Windows 8.1.... I must report that the whole install went VERY smoothly and more quickly than before. It prompted to me go nuts and install all the liveries, updated FMS data, etc. Bottom line is I was able to jump right in and fly without a hitch. Thanks for building a solid prod…

Hello PMDG, Have you ever considered 737NGX update in the future including bumping sounds system like in 777?

Hello there, I wonder if there is a way to obtain up to date sidsstars files for PMDG Navdata... I was about to takeoff to RJAA but none of the stars in the FMC matched the one displayed on the charts, nor Jeppesen nor Japan AIS...are they completly wrong or very old ones...it is quite annoying when you are about to fly and notice that docs and sim does not match^^ I had the same problem on Seoul RKSI... Is there a way to solve this problem? Best regards, Pierre Laine

Hello guys Yesterday I did a refresh my pc and I reinstalled FSX too When I was ready to fly my 737 NGX I noticed that the Engines sound in the cockpit was very very low (during take off) I remember that the engines at max power were very load What I can do? I was thinking increase some db 6 or 8 directly to engines sound file but I couldn't find the sounds I only saw the Engines Start but nothing else Do you know which audio files are when the throttle is at max power? Hope you can help me The sound of my 777 are perfect I don't know what happened with my 737 Thanks

Hi! Yesterday I encountered a problem I have never seen before in NGX. I followed my pre flight flows just like I always do. I put both IRS's in NAV mode and entered my position in the fmc, entered my route and so on... I noticed that my IRS on my side was alligned and the map was showing without any problems. but for some reaseon the first officers IRS didnt seem to be alligned.. I thought that this would be ok, so I boarded my passengers and pushed back, then I noticed that I wasnt able to arm CMD A or CMD B. And also I didnt get my pink lines on my PFD... I took off and still wasnt able to start the autopilot and had to handfly the plane for a landi…

I was considering getting track ir 5, but since it is quite expensive I am a bit hesitant. I fly primarily airlines the 737 ngx and 777. I also have a dash 8 and a small realair legacy. I am curious about people's experience using track ir for the 737 ngx. Would you recommend it? How easy is it to use when doing preflight setup and looking at the overheads then down to the pedestal and over to glareshield etc.

  12. So simple question, can I fly from KLAX to PHNL with the 737-800NGX on a full tank. I ask because I tried too (im still new to flying) with active sky running, my speeds started to die doing a 4x simulation rate, half way through i notice the center fuel tank is going down but have 8620 in both left and right tanks each. so what am I doing wrong?

(Maybe) since I've installed the MD11, I got VC panel display issue with 737NGX (every model/livery): blurry inscriptions, like this: It doesn't seem to be a FSX issue because there is no problem for other aircrafts (md11 or A320 for example) A little help would be appreciated. François

I am having an issue with the pmdg_737ngx_fuselage_3 texture. After "painting" it, I save as bmp to desktop, then I open it in DXTbmp, flip it and save it as .dds DXT5 (4096x4096). I then place the completed .dds file into the aircraft texture file and this is what I get (see high lighted areas).

Recently my autopilot on my 737ngx fails to engage. I don't have failures selected and in the past have used auto pilot without a problem. Many times actually, so I know its not something new I am doing. I am able to select vnav and lnav but when I push CmdA the button flashes the light but does not go on. I also notice that the screens on the co-pilot side do not seem to be picking up the irs initialization. I have tried to realign the irs to no avail. Again, I have done this a few hundred times in the past without a problem, but my last few flights have had the issue and I am without autopilot.

Hey! I'm planning a short flight in my NGX, and found my route on rfinder. The route is: ENGM SID NUVSA Z125 RBU STAR ENVA It's no problem entering from engm to nuvsa, and then onto z125, but it won't accept RBU as the final waypoint. I see in the FMC that it'd rather prefer a five letter waypoint (The five open boxes), but I wouldn't know what the last letters in the RBU waypoint would be. Any help would be appreciated. I know rfinder isn't the hottes planning tool, but for now, it's all I have. Thanks, Einar Tryti

Hello everyone: I know that some of you have had some interesting problems progressing and getting fixed rather sooner than later. But, I have came to a conclusion that some of you have been having lots of complaints of the PMDG 737-800/900 NGX N1 fan not being there, on not in the correct position. If that is the case, I have a solution that you should read below. Step 1: Select the NGX model that you plan to fly, or currently just want to fly around with; doesn't need to be a specific livery. Step 2: If the N1 fan is missing, or is not in place, just close (X) out of your FSX, Fs2004, FS9 screen, and restart the simulator. Or you could do what I tend to d…

  24. I recently built a new computer for the better performance of FSX, thus I reinstalled PMDG 737NGX 800-900 base package. Whenever I reached the cruise altitude, somehow, "Autofail" light was illuminated along with Altitude was cancelled with sign "--------." I searched the support forum, and I found that it could be "pack" switches failed to set as "auto" and I made sure that all pack switches were properly set, but no success. The same problem. Thus I decided to exactly follow Tutorial #1, which began with "Default" way without changing any overhead setting, but I found the same problem. Before reaching FL250, I had "Autofail" indicator on, then eventually autopi…
