PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

Hi, of some reason I'm getting an "invalid entry" message on my PFD. I'm not sure what's coursing it but I checked the FCOM and could not find any thing, althought I'm sure I just missed it. Here a pic. Please help. Aaron.

Hi Guys could I seek some help. i'm using a Ch USB 3 lever yoke with my B737NGX but always nearly overshooting the rwy, my reversers kick-in too late, i have one button on yoke assigned to the reversers (decrease throttle quickly) and another for stowing the reversers (Cut Throttle) I have tried assigning reversers to the keyboard also, but little success, I wonder if anyone else can think of another method I can use to improve the efficiency of the reversers? Hey guys,If I switch to any of the aircraft views in EZCA, something weird happens. Its like the plane is missing, except the wings, and a pmdg cube in the middle. Has anyone else experienced that? Im abit stumped as to why. I followed the FSX setup correctly from the pdfs.Wondering if maybe I need to reinstall?

Is somebody familiar with the problem that only the inside of the airplane is shown?

Can anybody explain what the green and blue dotted lines on the ND indicate ? ( see attached pictures ) I selected a VOR in the vicinity of Geneva ( SPR ) and noticed them. I understand what the green arrow means,namely pointing to the VOR station but not the dotted lines. I appreciate your help Hubert Werni

I am looking at the 'Details' page of a released flight plan. Using the PMDG737-800 with WL. If I have a payload of of 9810KG is this including the passengers? Do I have to subtract the weight of PAX when in the MENU of the PMDG payload page? I have 100PAX just to keep the numbers simple and to try things out. The ZFW looks like it is a bit different in PFPX to the PMDG by a few tones. PFPX is ZFW 52,801 PMDG in the CDU is saying ZFW 59.7 tones Sorry for the rushed post in advance.

Have been using this aircraft for the past 12 months with no issues at all. Today following take off I engage LNAV and VNAV,as usual,and then CMD autopilot. However,I have difficulty in the Autopilot engaging and when it does VNAV disengages and when VNAV engages again the autopilot goes out again making the aircraft useless. Could anyone throw any light as to the possible cause of this problem. Many thanks. Michael

Hello, I bought a box version of the PMDG 737 and want to use the FMC. In the box was a booklet giving step by step instructions for tutorial 1. I have gone through this four times now and each time when I get to the point where the route has to be modified for a speed restriction it goes pear shaped. Instead of waypoint SUGOL I get ARTOV shown when I go to remove the speed restriction on page 37. Has anyone else come across this and why does it happen. I tried to complete the setup but get a message saying the speed restriction is still there. It all goes perfectly up to page 35. I follow the text religiously each time. I have noticed on the NGX aircraft equipment configuration, altitude call outs are not used on the Southwest liveries. I was wondering if there company policy calls for the PNF to read the radio altitudes? Maybe they feel it is not necessary because of the HUD. I have read that SW orderes their NGs with some of the automatic features turned of to let their pilots be pilots and attract that kind of flyer.

Hello you all, I have a question about the VC view modes. I just want to config some of the Saitek's yoke buttons to get me to, lets say, the upper overhead panel and back to the front. same as the radios etc. I'd tried to search for key commands, or the name of the option to set it in the FSUIPC, but no success until now. Can anyone help me to config it please?

I posted this awhile back, but thought I try again to see if anyone has a clue why this may be happening. I did not have this problem until the past month or two. When I am at the gate with the 737ngx and my cargo doors are open I can see through the cargo door clear through out the other side of the plane. Is there a setting or some sort of fix for this? There isn't even a door on the other side of the plane to look through. Its really driving me nuts and makes it weird when I use gsx or aes. I can attach some screen shots if its not clear what I am referring to. I have checked several different 737 liveries and they all have the same issue when the cargo doors are open.…

I have just found myself running into a very annoying issue, i was preparing for a short flight and once the FMC was done i was in VC mode panning around the flight deck checking and switching stuff on etc and then all of a sudden i couldn't pan around anymore in ANY view, i couldn't zoom out or in nothing at all...its almost like the aircraft had crashed on me but the simulator was still running perfectly fine for sometime before i had to just give up and restart! Ive never had a problem with the plane or this matter before...any suggestions?

I have been having issues with the panel of my 738, I have aligned the IRS and even gone through and set up my entire flight but this is the result. I have no idea how to fix this. Anything helps

Hi. My upper EDU center fuel quantity displays 'CONFIG' in yellow. I had turned off the center fuel pumps at 1.00 as required and this happens. Not on every flight, but on some it does this. I looked thru the documentation and didn't find it although a search doesn't always find every single thing. What does this yellow 'config' mean?

All I want to do, is to config a button command (like Ctr+Shift+1) for the VC views, like the Overhead Lower Panel. Now, all my question is: there is a default button to do so? because I couldn't find. There is a way to config something like that via the FSUIPC? Thank you, Shlomy

Hi everyone I have a strange-looking navigation display when the NGX is loaded into Prepar3D. It is normal in FSX - any suggestions as to why this would be or how to resolve it?

In another post Al Jordan listed all of the data necessary to create aircraft TopCat templates for all PMDG 737 types. For those of us with only PFPX this contains a lot more info than we need. I've stripped out just the weight data needed for PFPX and created the attached PDF document that I thought might be helpful for creating your own PFPX aircraft templates. Again, thanks to Al for his work in pulling all of this information together.

Hello, everytime I start a flight with the ngx, fsx crashes with a critical error in module "window.dll". Months ago I experienced performance problems with the fsx and switched to x-plane for a while. Yesterday I decided to try to solve those performance problems. I thought i wrote to many tweaks to the fsx.cfg and deleted her, to let fsx generate a new one. So far there were no problems. I let venetubo.com/fsx.html apply some tweaks and read the NGX Introduction manual to ensure I did everything that should be done. FSX worked better but ngx crashes (see above). Now i tried to uninstall everything and setup a complete new installation. So far it works fine again…

My goal is to engage the Autopilot Master ( cmd ) with a button of my Saitek Yoke. What is strange that after deleting all keyboard assingments, pressing z on the keyboard is still activating the A/P ( cmd ) !
