PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

when i install the 737-800 do i then have to install all sevice packs or could i just install the latest?

Guys i dont post here very often but im a regular visiter. Im looking for a Monarch Livery (new one) 737 800/900 with Winglets for the ngx. I know they dont use them, but i was hoping someone maybe made one. I have had a try to do it myself, but with work, family life paragliding and photography time isnt something i have much off. Iv searched avsim but no joy. I thank you in advance and Happy new yr to you all. Danny Ps id be willing to pay for a livery to get done as i know its quite time consuming.

The NGX has now caused three app hangs in FSX since it was installed a week ago. They have all been mid flight. The screen freezes but the mouse can still be moved, and the first two times the application unfroze after it was left a few minutes but this most recent one didn't unfreeze at all and after 15 minutes of waiting i decided to switch out of the application to the desktop and back into FSX. My desktop background turned to black and i could use my PC but only the taskbar portion of the screen was responsive. I could then not switch back into FSX. All during this time I could hear the sim and the sound coming from the NGX, and from what i could hear it was still…

I'm new to this whole simulator thing, but I'm trying to set up the PMDG 737 NGX add-on for FSX on a new Windows 8.1 machine for my younger brother. Everything installed just fine, and the aircraft can be controlled with our joystick (rudder, elevator and aileron etc), but when we try to use any of the controls inside the cockpit, or even raise the gear, the whole sim crashes. Does anyone have any idea what might be going wrong and how I can fix it? thanks in advance

When do you guys plan on adding true RNP capabilities to the NGX?

Could this be possible in the future? The ngx model can still be used but some tweaks to it would make it look like the MAX. Adding the new winglets and bigger engine nacelles should not be hard, right? As for internals, add any changes to the fuel quantity if needed, tweak the engine model to simulate the performance of the CFM LEAP-X, and add the increased efficiency of the winglets. Thoughts?

Where is the best "most professional" checklists for the ng in A5 format? any tips?

In the A320, we have the ECAM warnings, which tells us the exact cause of a failure and the measures to take. What about the 737NG? Has the pilot to diagnose the problem by his knowledge and refer to the manual to take the measures? In this case, which manual? Thanks

I am flying the 737-800 with autopilot at 36,000 feet with autothrottle. However, the speed indicator shows overspeed just above 250 kias.Is there a way to fix this? Tyler Lawrence

Hello Simmers! Now I know this post has been put out before, but any and all fixes suggested have not worked before. Here is my issue - on my PFD's and PFD's only on the NGX in all liveries I have tested, there is a red X. Below this red X, which comes together just above the virtual horizon, there is a box with the letters "RA" in it. On the right, the VSI needle is replaced with a solid red line. I have tried playing with TCAS, putting it onto test mode, turning it on and off the various settings, to no avail. I have tried a full reinstall several times, and have re installed with deleting the aircraft folder prior to. I do not have XGauge or FSAcars and have …

Huys, really I can't find the IRS button to switch it to "NAV" to continiue the precedure :( I have only the IRS button which is only have "Both L" and "Both R " option but not "NAV" ! If I can find where is NAV I will activate it to make FMC show IRS POS to configure it

How common is it to enter a cold and dark cockpit IRL meaning you will not run through all the preflight flows etc? I've always been under the impression that when you're scheduled for a flight that is the first flight of the day for the a/c (when it has been parked over night for example) the cockpit normally will be cold and dark. However I've also heard many people saying it's very seldom the pilots will enter a cold and dark cockpit IRL. Would be great to hear some real world drivers comment on this.

I am trying to use the SPAD software to use the Saitek BIP with the PMDG 737NGX. First I uninstalled the profile software, but then my yoke was unusable with FSX so I had to reinstall the profiling software. However, I did not uninstall ProFlightPlugin.
