I am looking for a PMDG NGX forum banner to insert into my forum signature. After spending almost an hour searching and googling I've given up and posted a question here. Is there such a thing and if so, where can I find it ? The weird thing is that I used to have one, but it seems to have disappeared from wherever it was hosted. Thanks for any hints.

What are the units for the fuel flow displayed on the DU? I'm in flight right now holding in a holding pattern and need to burn 5.5 tonnes of fuel to bring it down to max landing weight, i'm trying to work out how long i'll be in the hold for.

Hi I have a problem with the wheel of my PMDG 737 NGX. During the landing it is ALWAYS sinking into ground. At first I thought it is because of hard landing but I just performed UBER smooth landing in 737-600 and still it sunk. This happens on all of PMDG which I own (737-600/700/800/900) and it just killed immersion. Please help because I think I will start to cry :(

Hey everyone, tried to google and search through here but nothing. So I am running the following: Ultimate Traffic 2 (not open during fsx) Ultimate Scenery x - USA/Europe/Canada (not open during fsx) Acive Sky 2012...I use it for graphics when putting flight plan in. (not open during fsx) Active Sky Next (Open During Fsx) When I go to the airport and to the gate and view 'spot', I turn the lights on and theres nothing but strobe lights flashing, logo and headlights are off even tho I can see the bulbs are on on the wings. What is this from. I installed from Ultimate scenery, ultimate traffic, active sky 2012, active sky next, pmdg 737, in that order, not sure …

I was coming into land on ESSA today for ILS 19R, but there is something that made me confused, and is always making me confused. The case when approaches feature a holding pattern. Here is the chart. From the STAR you should be flying directly to the ARL VOR, then turn right to D5 - ARL, then join the clockwise holding pattern. But if you look closely you can see this can be extremely inconvenient. I was coming from the northwest to intercept ARL, so therefore you need to make a very tight right turn towards D5 - ARL, then a very tight left turn to join the holding pattern. For a change, I let the autopilot handle it completely. From D5 - ARL it started to fly paral…

Hello everybody, I'm trying to set a assigned key for the a/p disengage switch through the FMC/key commands/autoflight (page 8/8). I can hear a "click" when I execute it but it doesn't disengage it. When I click on the a/p disengage switch on the yoke it works as it should be... Anyone can explained me how and where to set a key command to execute the a/p disengage on the yoke? Is there anyway that when I select a pop up panel in the VC, like the FMC from the views menu. It doesn't disappear when i select another view. I use EZDOK camera program, when looking around I would like that the pop up panel remains selected. Is it possible? Robert

Hi folks, does anyone know if PMDG is planning to introduce the multiplier to service based failures in the 737NGX too? I really love this feature in the 777! I'all may be wrong but I guess it wouldn't be such a great effort to introduce this?! Regards Daniel

Hello Simmers! I have a question in regards to night lighting procedures in the cockpit, specifically in regards to the flood lights. As far as I know the dome lights are only used in storms or when parked at the gate, though I was wondering when the flood lights, both for the panel and the MCP, are used. In photos I've seen a mix, and as of yet I don't tend to use them at all as something about them doesn't look quite right in the settings being used, but I would rather put up with that for proper procedures than forget about them altogether. I've taken a look through the intro, FCOM and tutorial manuals to no real avail (perhaps I just haven't looked in the right…

I have the 737 NGX 800/900 installed from the Aerosoft DVD. I recently had to re-install FSX due to many problems. Today I tried a flight in the NGX but although I was able to do a circuit the following functions were not available. The speed and altitude values not visible although the selected speed and level values were indicated on the PFD. The FMC accepted the route but it was not displayed on the ND. On the 'Options/Ground Connections' page in the FMC, only the 'Set Chocks' function was available, the others were greyed out. Do I need to re-install the NGX? Neil Bradley

Did a search on my problem but didn't find anything, so apologize if this has already been dealt with. My problem is that on takeoff I have to press the TOGA button several times before anything happens. I have both FDs on, AT armed, and engines spooled up to 40%, then I press TOGA, and nothing happens. I press several more times, still nothing. Finally, just a few seconds before reaching V1, I press it and it takes. Everything seems normal from there. So, what am I doing wrong? Alan

I have a few questions regarding when to turn on/off the centre tank fuel pump switches before takeoff and in flight. Loading left, right and centre tanks with 2,800kg's ea which give around 8,400kg's fuel total pre flight. My questions are 1. When to turn off centre tank pumps off in flight ? Before x kg's left over or when amber warning message appears ? 2. Before takeoff if less than 2,300kg's centre tank fuel switches off ? Back on after 10,000ft ? Found this in an alt FCOM under Amplified Procedures but could not find any info in PMDG-NGX FCOMv1 or 2 nor the FCTM. If I have missed it, can someone give me any page references please. Hi, I have recently loaded the PMDG 737NGX package but cannot get the parking brake to release. The brake warning stays on my screen whether I try to release with my joystick, by pressing the period key or even if using the throttle quadrant park brake lever. The program will not allow me pushback, therefore I simply cannot fly. All help appreciated. Thanks Ron

I have the 737NGX 800/900 installed from the Aerosoft DVD. Recently I had to re-install FSX. On my first attempt to fly the NGX I find that I am not getting a complete aircraft in that altitude and airspeed tapes do not have any values although the selected speed and altitude markers are displayed, the ND will not display the FMC route, On the 'ground actions' page only the chocks set option is working the rest are greyed out.Do I need to re-install the NGX or what? Hi, team, I did a search on this and didn't see anything, so... I was going to purchase a used OpenCockpits CDU for the NGX, and had to wait because I had other bills to pay. However, my lovely spousal unit bought me a used Flight Deck Solutions CDU. This piece of hardware is awesome, and makes flying the NG-series 737 a real breeze. Immersive as well. Having said all of that, I am under the impression that there is a RL version of the 737 CDU that is similar to the T7 and other Boeing aircraft, in that there is a NAV RADIO key where I believe the FIX key is now and the FIX key is relocated to another position.
