PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

A couple of issues I've noticed - when I set a heading and turn on the auto pilot I note that the heading the plan will fly is off by a few degrees vs. what I have programmed. Usually 2 - sometimes more. Also, when I set the course for an ILS landing about 10 miles out the course will change automatically two degrees. So for example, if the runway course is 189 - I program and at some point the software changes the course to 191....I'm confused so any help would be much appreciated.

Hi all,I recently purchased a new PC, installed FSX and 737NGx and all updates + add ons EZCA and REX 2.0. Everything runs well. Now I realized that I dont have any sound in the cockpit. I can hear the engine sound but thats all. I dont hear any alarms, no clicking sound when pressing buttons, no speed call outs etc. Whats happening here? Any advise? Should I re-install NGX? Gents, When I follow the steps in the tutorial, when opening the "advanced properties", I cannot check the checkbox "Runs as administrator" because it's grayed out.I tried to play with the permission settings, no good. Anyone an idea? Bert Van Bulck

Hi, does anyone know how to enable or make the HUD show in a PMDG NGX Liveries.I have just found that the original PMDG has the HUD but the Liveries don't have. Is there way to amend the aircraft config file or tweak somewhere like FMC to make it show ? Thanks... Regards Lloyd

Hallo. My 737 NGX ( 600) will suddenly not take off from runway. Now the aircraft take off with 250-60 knots outside the runway. I have normal wieght. Whats wrong? Kjell

Hello, I am kind of new to the flight sim scene. I recently decided to purchase the PMDG 737NGX after many people saying it is very good. Is there any free way to update my AIRAC files and keep them up to date? If not than are there any cheep ways to do this (like $5 or less). Thanks!!

Yesterday I was doing approaches and practicing go-around maneuvers at ESSA, I repeatedly set up my approach on rwy 01L and repeatedly (maybe 3 times) also re-entered the ILS approach on the CDU "app" page. Then the CDU gave a "program pin error" and I could no more enter any approaches on the fmc/cdu. The simulator did not crash and I landed normally but I could no longer enter any stars and approaches on the computer. If I tried it gave me a blank screen with only "FMC ACT" on it. Has this happened to you guys? I purchased my PMDG 737NGX in 2012 so I should have automatically all the updates sp:s etc? Thanks!

Hi guys Just noticed, if I leave my mouse curser over a click spot or interactive panel or gauge, I get a huge decrease in fps. If I move my mouse curser to the windscreen or neutral spot, fps gradually returns to average. Is this normal, or do I have some kind of issue here . Cheers Ivan

hey everyone, Just downloaded EZdok, love it for my PMDG 737 but have one issue. had to change my page up and page dn to shift plus up arrow and shift plus down arrow because im on bootcamp on a mid 2012 i7 core macbook pro. Anywho, when I press shift up arrow and shift down arrow to move the camera it flickers like snags on the screen and glitches then snaps back to place. Not sure if there is a fix for this?

Hi all! I'm considering purchasing the PMDG 737NGX, as I hope to add a higher degree of realism to my simulations, and want to venture into the world of VATSIM. However, I am slightly concerned about my system's ability to run the aircraft at a reasonable frame rate. I've read reports that my caliber of processor and graphics card may be unable to handle the NGX's degree of graphical complexity. I have before only used the default aircraft, and I have had my graphics and traffic sliders in the ultra high position, with few problems. The sim does not often lag. Hello.I am new at pilot of 737.I have issue.when loading is finished cockpit appears and than crash(without fatal error) it's all time I try.I have Low system and I also set parameters to low resolution in performance manager and what to do?

I have flown the NGX since it cAme out pretty much. No problems what so ever. Within the last week I have been having problems with vnav. Whenever I engage the vnav it works fine until about 20000 fit and then it does a climb rate of about 250 a minute and can't hold aggisgned CLB speed. Once I finally get to cruise it can't hold the speed and does like 50 less then I put in. Any suggestion are appreciated.

As there is no 2D window support for the throttle quadrant in PMDG737NGX, it requires "mouse look" to check the trim value. Is there some workaround or add-on program that can show this value in any kind of way? BR, Magnus

Hey there, I was doing a routine flight from Denvery to Billings in the NGX when the autopilot failed to turn to next waypoint. When I decided to take AFDS from LNAV to HEADING SELECT to try and intercept course again, I found that unresponsive as well. It was the second time this has happened in two flights and thought to check the FMS PMDG simulation options and saw that I had checked Service Based Failures. Once I unchecked this feature my autopilot was able to recapture both LNAV and VNAV. If anyone as any knowledge on this that'd be great. Are there things I need to do to ensure these don't happen when service based failures are checked? Happy flying!

Possibly this may have already been requested, but is there the consideration being given to adding the "Time Compression" algorithm planned for the PMDG 777 to be added to the PMDG 737 NGX? Since it is possible to fly a 737 a long distance, this would be a nice enhancement to the NGX? Bill Clark

Hey everyone, This is an absolutely noob question but ive tried to search for it everywhere even the manual with no luck. Maybe Im sure using the wrong search keywords, but anywho: How do you change views within the cockpit like the 3D way, and zoom into the FMC the way its done in this video, how the pilot looks like hes moving within the cockpit (first person), how? Hi Guys, Is it possible to change the glide slope as indicated in the HUGS Control Panel from 3 degrees to some other value? I'm trying to do a visual approach in a 738 into Corfu runway 35 where the PAPI lights are set at 3.08 degrees, so it would be rather nice to set the HUGS glide slope to agree with the PAPI lights.
