PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

Hi all. I was just flipping through some of the websites for B737NG cockpit photos and have discovered that there are some airlines in which the first officer has a tiller for controlling the B737 on the ground. Anyone knows how to activate this in PMDG NGX as I cannot seem to find this in the manuals that came with the plane. As I was watching that old Just Planes Tranavia B737 video, I also notice that some of the B737NG have the old type of FMC (green wordings). How do we switch from the PMDG NGX default FMC to that type?

Hi Everyone: I just purchased Ground Services X and one of the things I am required to do manually is tell FSX to remove the chocks in the PMDG 737. Is there a command to do this? The reason it is necessary is because GSX will not do a pushback as long as the chocks are in the way. Does anyone know how I can remove the chocks without going through the FS2Crew pushback routine/dialogue? Thank you. Chris Catalano

Whenever I put a ILS approach into the FMC it always shows the last two waypoints on the approach at the same altitude. On the approach plate the altitudes would be(for instance) 9000-7000, but in the FMS it always shows the lower altitude for both. Any ideas?

I was at Gate 40 at KSAN and struggling to keep my on time record. I use FS2Crew with the NGX and I typically run thru the entire Pre-flight procedure including listening to the briefings and trying to adhere to all steps. This particular day, I was running 7 minutes behind schedule and not looking forward to a crowd at the departing runway and so in what I recognize as a stupid oversight I was rushing thru the procedures and trying to combine steps in order to save time. at 18 minutes behind schedule I climbed away from San Diego only to almost immediately see the master warning light come on with no indications on the annunciator though. I'm not 100% sure this is a PMDG issue, but it feels like it is so that is why I am posting here. I have my nav data now updated in both PFPX and PMDG. I have a route in PFPX from KPHX to KSCL. The route is shown below - it includes a SID w/ a Transition - show below as well. You can see that when the route is uploaded into the FMC it does not route to THOMM. I have included images of the flight plan, the legs, the activated route, and the CDU legs page. I have this issue more often than not at other airports as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey all, Not sure if anyone else has been experiencing this or not. Whenever I do a flight with the 737ngx, the plane starts to shake violently Whenever I'm climbing and withing a few thousand feet of the cruise, I start experiencing extreme...and I mean extreme turbulent shaking on the aircraft. I am willing to PAY to who ever can help me, this is the most frustrating thing i have ever encountered. This plane has caused me so much pain, im talking formating, then reformatting my whole hard drive. Basicly, i payed for it, downloaded it and started flying it, however the FPS was very low, it worked just fine online and its an amazing plane. I had too many add ons etc, so i decided to format my pc to get better frames, it was time anyway, once i did that, it corrupted resulting into my whole system to crash which then i had to completely wipe my whole hard drive. Hi, I'm flying with the 737 ngx which is a great airplane. I'm using a nice 7" touchscreen monitor as an CDU which works perfectly, the only thing is that this screen has unfortunately low brightness, and the way the pmdg cdu is very dark so I don't see much on my touchscreen. I use a second network PC so first I've been looking for a external fmc that works with pmdg, from what I understood it doesn't exist, am I wrong ? No I'm looking for a way to change the look of the cdu, I want it to look like the virtual cdu app for iphone for example. Very formal and bright. Is there a way to do this ? Thanks

Rather than blather on in someone else's thread and drift away from their topic, I thought I'd start a (re)new thread. Here's where it started: Position: There are good reasons to use V/S. Preventing TCAS TAs, smoothing turbulence, preventing large pitch and G variations, smooth transitions to G/S, etc. There are cons to it - specifically that you need to be more observant than with some other modes, but it is largely - and incorrectly - believed that there is no stall protection. Hi Guys! Taking off from YSSY and as I advanced the thrust levers to 55%, the master caution DOOR light came on. I pulled levers to idle, check the doors from external view, all were closed incl. Equip etc. Double checked FMS as well. So cancelled warning, and continued flight. Now I have read that in the real 737NG you may get a door indication referencing the over wing exits as their auto-latching mechanism is slow to latch as you advance power. Could this issue have been from that, or a genuine error or bug?

Just an observation: When selecting the second autopilot during a dual channel approach "CMD" remains annunciated until glideslope capture, at which point it changes to "SINGLE CH" followed by "CMD" following a successful self test. What should happen is that "CMD" should change to "SINGLE CH" the moment the second autopilot is selected & not be delayed until glideslope capture. The subsequent change is correct. Cheers, Doug

How do I install the FDSFX panel so that it shows on either the 2d or Virtual panel? So far I've only been able to get it behind the 2d panel. I'm sure there must be a way since I can get it set up in my iFly, LDS, etc.. It's FSX, of course. Thanks.

when I start using the 737-800/900 5 mins later there is no paint, cabin just interior and i have to restart flight sim again to get the full plane back but it keeps on happening, I've got the B747-400X and BAE Jetstream 41 and they both work fine its just the 737NG and with it being my favourite Medium range airliner i'm disappointed it does not work properly.
