PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

I recently had to do a complete reinstall of windows and FSX. While attempting to unzip my 8900NGX file I got several errors that stated it was an unspecified error. I thought it had to do something with the zip program so I downloaded a new zip program and got the file to unzip. However while installing I got some new errors. This error read - "CRC error: The file C:\Microsoft Flight SimulatorX\PMDG\DEM\E020N90.DEM doesn't match the file in the setup's .cab file. The medium from which you are running the setup may be corrupted; contact your software vendor. Do I have a bad setup file? If so what can I do to correct it? Hi all, I am trying to figure out where the PMDG 737NGX reads the Strobe & Beacon lights configuration from. it is obviously it is not using the aircraft.cfg file as they have no reference to those lights in them, but yet there are strobe and beacon lights on the aircraft. Hi, i´d like to know until which speed i should set ailerons into the wind on a, let´s say, 20 knots crosswind. I think it should be until 100 knots ground speed on landing, and from 120 kts on takeoff. Thanks!! tatin

Hi Does PMDG 737 NGX work fine on windows 8? And; Does anyone have a solution for FS2Crew NGX in windows 8? As I have understand, the voice recognition does not work properly in windows 8, but we need the recognition tool for the FS2Crew. Does anyone have a good solution for this? Regards Roffegutten

I 'm having a hard time hearing some sounds like - seat belt and chime ,there real low .In the FMC sound settings every thing is at 100% I tried playing with the settings with not much luck , how do you guys have it set so I can try it ?

Greetings, As an purchaser and user of all the PMDG products I cannot figure this one out. The 737 NGX was working great and no problems until last weekend. It will load up to the VC cockpit and the CTD. I have searched the forums for an answer to this with so many postings it is difficult to find a post with this problem. The Problem: I have reformatted all my drives. Clean install of win 7 64 bit, I7 3.5GHZ, nvidia gforce GTX 690, 16G ram. A new purchase of FSX gold with accel. I have not put on any scenery addons, no payware items except for FSUIPC, basic yucky FSX. I works fine. The drivers are up to date as of yesterday. An install of …

Hello mates, I recently migrated from FS9 to FSX due a new PC. So I'm now using the NGX but I want to get the most real airline options. Is there maybe a list by PMDG or other useres which setting is real for the matching airline? Some settings can be found via pics (like SATCOM,MCP type,fuel display) but some can't be found like which brakes used etc. I'm especially interested in following airlines: Air Berlin TUIfly Westjet Sunwings (Austrian Airlines) of someone has this information anymore Thanks

Hey there, I'm yet another virtual pilot having a problem with inserting SID's, Stars and waypoints in the FMC. I used FSBuild to create a flightplan from EGLL to EHAM (EGLL..BPK.UR123.CLN..UL620..REDFA..EHAM) and exported it to FSX and the 737NGX. Both the game and the the plane accept the route without any problem (using flight planner in FSX and co route in the FMC), However for the sake of realism I want to insert the route into the FMC myself. Hi, I have a weird problem. After formatting my PC and installing FSX and PMDG 737-800/900, I can't hear the cockpit sounds of my aircraft. Everything works fine. I can play the music on my pc. The UI music and sounds of FSX work as well! I can hear the sound of engines. But I cannot hear the sound e.g. when parking brake is released, or when the aircraft stalls, I cannot hear the stall sound, as well as pull-up and other sounds. I checked the PMDG setup menu on FMC, it says "no sound device". What shall I do? I reinstalled the product (without uninstall). But the problem still exists. I took a screenshot for you.
