PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

    Hi chaps, Just getting to grips with the 737. I have an ILS tuned in, both F/Ds on, A/P dual channel APP mode, A/T armed and MCP SPD. I disengage the autopilots and turn MCP speed off but leave the A/T armed. For some reason, using the throttle on my joystick does not work unless I disengage the autothrottle. Does this plane behave differently to the 744 or is this a setup issue I may have? Have looked thought various manual pages but as far as I can tell, I should be able to use the throttle manually with the A/T armed? Thanks for any advice you can offer!     Hello! When i set two of my joystick buttons to adjust the elevator trim i get no respons in the cockpit. I can spin the wheel with the mouse, and i can assign an axsis to the wheel, but the hotkeys on the joystick or simply keyboard keys wont work. I change the keys for "elevator trim up/down" under controls. Everything else works fine. I didnt have this problem with Windows 7 it is new with Windows 8. But i dont think it has anything to do with the OS because FSX works really well apart from that. Perhaps im just missing a simple step? Thanks for your help.

  3. Fsx crashes every time i try to use the PMDG 737 NGX, as soon as i click join session it crashes and it also crashes whenever i end a flight on single player. Does anyone know how to solve this problem? Thanks in advance!

    Any one else have this problem? . I cant seem to put a cause to it, don't know if its weather related but when I'm in cruise ( Opus ) right out of the blue she'll shoot straight up in the air like it seen the Playboy bunny of the month . As far as I can see it's only the PMDG 737 that does it. When she shoots up man does it go up and a have grab it right away to get control of it or down she comes and it only seems to do it once in the flight .

    Hi Guys Landing at ybcs, I have no DME info (DME _ _ _ ) on pfd. I perform a full auto land no probs, however, I use voxatc, and my instructions are to report at DME 4. Due to this, I can only estimate DME 4 on my arrival. Why do I have no DME reference anunciated ? Up to date airac, Orbyx ybcs, both nav radio's tuned. Appreciate any help.

    Hi there. I recognised that sometimes there is no chance to engage AP at any modus after t/o. And during cruise still no chance to swicht AP on. Only thing that is working is A/T. No difference in cockpit preparation from days , when it is working. I also saw that no FD cross shows on display. But FD on captain side was switched on. Waht can it be? Peter

  7. Hi everyone, i have a Problem with Throttle and Thrust with the 600 Model. When i´m fly a second leg and die 737-600 is reach the top of descent, the thrust don´t go to idle. He go down to 60-70 % N1 but not to idle. So the Boing cannot reduce the speed. When I turn off the auto-thrust the throttle to forward and the thrust is going to full thrust (max N1) and the speed goes in the red area. I can do what i want, there is no reaction. Not with the hardware throttle, not with F1 and when I use the mouse to give the throttle to idle, the throttle just turn back to maximum power. When I turn on the the auto-thrust, N1 goes to 60-70 %. And as well no reaction with har…

  9. Hi all, I am just wondering what systems activate when you first enable ground power from a cold 'n dark cockpit? There seems to be a lot of noise in the cockpit with the engines, APU, packs/fans, pumps etc all turned off... Just curious is all. Is it really like this in the real 737? Would love to know. Thanks

    I have the T7 and really enjoy it thus far.... That said I'm getting an average of 11 FPS at add on airports with the T7 in the VC. This is with Traffic disabled, Fair Weather, med Autogen and med view distance. No matter how much I lower my Autogen view distance and density the FPS bottom out at about 11 and dip as low as 9 at times at my FSDT, AeroSoft or FlyTampa AP's. My system is quite aged and I'm CPU bound till I get a new rig but was interested in the NGX for shorter flights and smaller AP's but was wondering if the FPS would be any better than I'm getting with the T7? Right now my T7 FPS are as low as I can possibly go! Thanks

    for some reason, whenever I fly the pmdg 737, using the saitek pro flight yoke, when my yoke is level, the virtual yoke is tilting to the left, this happens with a most aircraft but the 737 is most noticeable, would anyone know how to fix this? It is very frustrating when I try to land, because I always veer off course. thanks in advance.

    Hello, I'm new on FSX and since I got on the FSX I have some problems with the NGX sound. It's simply too loud. I fly online for VATSIM/IVAO and it's sometimes hard to understand what ATC wants to tell me. The engine/cockpit and cruise sounds are sooooo loud that they make me feeling sick in my head. I already tuned the volume manual down at some specific files like "wind" with Nero. But it still doesn't really help. Tuning the sound via the FMC menu doesn't help too as this will not effect things like "engine,wind,APU,...". Is there maybe a problem with my installation? Is there a fix/user files available? Greetings

    I have just installed new GPU in my PC and since then the text in the FMC in the virtual cockpit is virtually unreadable. With my old GTX 580 the text was small but could be read and operated on an angle but not now. To make adjustments or inputs I need the non virtual cockpit version on display which is a real pita. Any suggestions as to what may have caused this? Thanks

    Hey! I have the previous PMDG 737NG in FS9, and the aircraft is OK, it flies fine in FS9. I wonder... Working with CDU in PMDG 737NG, should that be completely the same as with 737NGX? What I want to know is....   20. Hello! I noticed that in the NGX, if i lower the HUD, i can't click anything in the VC, and also the HUD doesn't see correct... Can be related to DX10? I have FSX in DX10 with the fixer. See the image below.

  21. I reacently baught the PMDG 737ngx and have mostly got to grips with it. I have encountered a problem where only 1 engine will start after being cold and dark, and in the panel save 'deafault' only one engine will give me power. :( Ive tried cheacking the bleed air was on, the fuel pumps were on and if the APU was running but still no luck. I hope somobody can help.

  22. Often when I'm opening the FS-Actions menu in the FMC I get a CTD (crash-to-desktop). Most of the CTD's i get seem to be FMC related. Is there a way to fix this problem ? I'm using 737-800/900 NGX on Windows 8.1. Regards, Maurice Hamerslag

UPDATE - if you downloaded the 800/900 SP1c file earlier tonight there was a problem that could result in an error message involving version 3116 if you had a version of SP1b that only existed for an hour on the day SP1b was released.     Hi all This is going to be basic qustion for the 737 ngx experts here, but i cant find the answer in the manual Just looking in the wrong placel i suppose All I want to do is change the cdi to nav 2. I understand how to use the radio but there is only one crs button on the dash to work with nav1 an i missing something simple .
