Hi all, I met a problem with my 737NGX on my new laptop that after running a few minutes (normally before I could set up everything for take off when start on runway), the computer sound device simply cease working. Not only the FSX but also other programmes lost their sounds. The appearance of sound control is still normal, different from which I disable sound cards manually. The only solution to this I found so far is to terminate the FSX, and other sounds would then come back. I am wondering that is there any possible conflicts or compatibility issues between 737NGX and my current sound device and/or the device driver, but I have no idea how to eliminate them. If th…

Anybody know where PMDG's suggested tweaks for FSX for better performance are and what they are?

Hey guys well finally got TRACK IR and EZDOK to work and i'm ready to go but one problem is stopping me and thats the HUD! For the green stuff, speed tape etc will only fit when i'm zoomed out at 0.30 i'm trying to use the PMDG advice at 0.60 but the green stuff doesn't fit in the glass its too big i need to zoom right out at 0.3 atleast to get it to fit? Currently enroute ESSA-EIDW and after t/o I noticed a problem I've never seen before in the NGX...my right hand side main landing gear is still down after retracting the gear I have looked through the QRH but couldn't find anthing that seemed to match my problem 100% and looking in the FMC under the failures section it says I have no active failures. I have tried both raising and lowering the gear but problem remains. When I lower the gear the remaining part of the gear does come down but when I then try to raise the gear again the right hand main gear doens't come up. Any help how to fix this would be greatly appreciated! Here are some screenshots

Hi All,Currently in the cruise on the 737-700 NGX SAS Livery.Cruising at FL370 from ESSA -> EGLLI've just got up to cruise and a few minutes into the cruise, this weird beeping sound starts... :/It's like the beeping noise you get when you start your takeoff roll and something is not configured correctly like the flaps or something...Just constant this is..? Now a master caution has literally just come on saying 'Overhead' So I look and the PASS OXY ON Light is On...Does this cause the weird beeping sound :/ Just looked in the QRH and didn't find much :/Now descending 6000' in order that it may help..Would appreciate some advice :)Many Thanks,Tristan

I am having a problem getting the Livery Manager to work. I downloaded & extracted the ptp file for Ryan Air for the 800 series & as instructed, put it a separate file. When I browse to this file in the Livery Manager & open the file, the Livery Manager goes faded 7 says it is "extracting the file", but nothing happens. Clicking on the Manager after some time I get the message "the livery manager has stopped working". Any help to solve this problem will be appreciated.

Hi everyone! I'd like to report a potential bug which results in a CTD. I was flying from Athens to Dubai and while I was cruising at FL330, I entered FL350 in the FMC and autopilot and the aircraft started to climb. Then, I navigated to the CRZ page of the FMC, and clicked on "ECON" (LSK 4L if I recall correctly). This made the simulator crash. I haven't tried to reproduce it, but I guess it will have the same result. Is PMDG aware of the issue? If not, it'd be good to have it fixed in the near future. Sirs: I seem to be getting a Error Message w/ the NGX 737 It involves the Activation. It seems to be locking me out. It reads ERROR: flxAct Comon Repair Local Trusted Storage 50044,71013,1.... I insert my Activation Key # and it still doe's not let me in. I have had this program for allmost a year and it never asked me for the Activation Key. I purchased it from Download from PMDG. Is this a wrapper problem (w/ PMDG) or can you figure out what's going wrong... Thank you Sirs..

just sick of problems with fsx and 737 ngx now. its not letting me install the spc1 600 700 getting a message saying... the setup has detected that no version of the PMDG 737 6700 NGX RTM is installed. this update requires that a previous version of the application be installed

Looking for help with resizing the 2D overhead panel I have recently built a new computer with an HD7770 video card using three monitors. When I attempt to open the 2D overhead panel, the panel will not show up and the curser starts blinking with a blue circle. After a bit of research, the issue seems top be with panel sizes and 3 monitor resolutions. The question I am asking here, as I have never re-sized a panel is; 1.Can anyone recommend a good starting size 2. which of the 5 panel config files would be the one to change, I am guessing it is the panel_Wide as I have wide view set to TRUE Any help with this would be much appreciated

I think that to fly this plane is dificult: I should have classes to get some "brevet"... Chiefly if you open a saved fly, all configuratios are gone...in plain air! Is there a newbie condition so I can fly without stress? :wub:

hmm, For a while i have replaced my CR2032 5 or 6 times during my 5-10 minutes flying time and for now i have only seen this issue with the NGX 737-600? This has been a rutine for a while Any body else ? Michael

Hello, I've had the NGX for quite awhile now and have had no problems. I recently installed fsx to windows 7, making the switch from windows 8! Anyway, after doing so whenever I adjust the cockpit light, even just slightly, the cockpit light associated with the control comes on full brightness. So the lights are even full on or full off! I've not seen anyone else mention this problem in the forum so I presume it's a problem with my system. I've tried reinstalling and haven't have any luck. Drivers are the latest from nvidia. Hello, I just purchased the base package by PMDG, 737NGX, I downloaded the program, installed it and ran it in FSX, it ran great for about 5 min and then it crashed my PC to reboot, I tried it a second time and the same thing happened, then I read a post in this forum about using the UIAutomationcore.dll and downloaded it and extracted to my main FSX folder, that made it even worse, it crashed within about 15 sec. I am very frustrated and angry, I have purchased many PMDG products in the past and have not had one problem with them. I love the attention to detail and accuracy that PMDG puts into their aircraft, it is by far the best on the sim market. here are the specs …

I have been using the 737NGX for some time now...today i did 2 flights, the latter was a Geneva to Vienna...in the VC i pan around the cockpit as you do flicking switches and occasionally having a lookout down below...in the last 15minutes of the flight i could suddenly no longer pan around the cockpit, i couldn't zoom in and out using the + and - keys on my keyboard, i couldn't look left or right using the Numpad keys...and on landing my reverse thrusters wouldn't deploy when pressing F2! Hello all, I’ve been looking for a solution to the issue I am having with the 737 ngx during takeoff. It is annoying I have to apply constant (and I think Extreme) pressure to the yoke to try to keep the ac on the centerline during takeoff. If I let go during takeoff, it veers wildly to the left- not as much as a one-engine takeoff, but if it were real world, I'd have quite a few upset passengers. The engines seem to be in sync, no variance in N1 or N2.
