PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

I have a couple of questions re setting up the MCP for take off without using the FMC (no plan to use Vnav or Lnav at this stage in my learning). (1) Heading Select - while I *can* enable Heading Select on the ground, is that the generally accepted practice? Or should I press it after take off, like at 400' agl? I'm inclined to select it before T.O. but don't know if there is any reason not to? Does TOGA mode command FD's wings level during the initial T.O.? (2) When to set climb power after taking off? I'm taking off using TOGA but am unsure as to how and when to engage climb thrust? I am thinking 1500' agl as for the when but do I just press N1 mode? Thanks.…

I can't get the airstairs to retract. I end up having to turn them off in the equipment list in order for them to "go away" any idea why this might be? Mitch bowman

Does the PMDG 737NGX support Saitek equipment? I have the Pro Flight Yoke & Quadrant, Pro Flight Multi Panel and the Pro Flight Radio Panel. Do they work with it? Are 3rd party programs required?

Hi all! I fly the PMDG 737 NGX with Fs2Crew. My problem with this is that the Recall Button is Lighiting about 30nm (Nautical Miles) from T/D (Top of descent) What has happened? Its same when im at the ground and im just gonna pushback from the Gate, the recall is showing "Air condition", the Co-Pilot turns it off just before taxi when i have completed the checklist. This repeat in the flight as i said previously is showing "Overhead Air Conditon" at the gate it was just "Air Condition" now is both Air condition AND Overhead just before T/D Do anyone have a clue what this problem is? Thanks!

Every time i load up the PMDG 737 NGX and try to join a session on fsx mulitplayer fsx crashes. Fsx also crashes whenever i try to end a flight on single player. Any one know how to solve this problem? Thanks in advance!

Hello, I recently had to completely uninstall FSX and its add-ons. Upon reinstall, my PMDG 737 NGX has blurry panels in the 2d mode. The VC looks fine. I've assured my monitor and FSX resolutions match. I've added the WideViewAspect=True line to the .cfg file. I'm running FSX on a store bought laptop with integrated graphics. My issue is that my 2d panel looked great before the reinstall of FSX, so I know my graphics card can do a decent job. I've been in communication with PMDG, but I'm getting the "we don't know, we don't support windows 8 or integrated graphics." It was working fine before with windows 8 and integrated graphics. I'm getting the NO VSPD in amber displayed on my PFD while sitting at a gate. My SPD REF selector above the center engine display is set to AUTO. I've completed my FMC route and activated. My V Speeds in the CDU were clicked on to display in the PFD but they do not show up either. I must still be missing something? Thanks...

Hello folks, I have the following question: anytime the A/T is in ARM mode, I should be able to move the throttle manually, but when I try that, and move the throttle lever of my Saitek quadrant, the aircraft throttle won't move...what am I missing? Enrico

This would be the place where a lot are using Precision Flight Controls for a yoke, and we don't have a hat POV to look around in (spot view). For years I have been using their yoke and throttle quadrants. To look around in spot view I have a Top gun joystick and I DISABLED all the axis and just leave the HAT POV active for spot view . Lately I have been flying along and noticed the aircraft would just pitch violently side to side and uncontrollable, and thought it was caused by my weather program (Opus) . Hello folks, I have noticed that, anytime the A/T goes into ARM mode, if I move the throttle lever of my Saitek quadrant, the throttle of the aircraft won't move, as it should be the case. Unless I misunderstood the Arm mode concept. What am I doing wrong? Enrico

Hey Picture is not mine btw. But the red TCAS lines and markings on my PFD will not go away, and they are there when i load up the NGX in default mode. Any tip on how to get rid of them, they're just annoying because all the other functions seems to be working as they should.

I've recently purchased PMDG 737 from Aerosoft and Installed it,but when I launched FSX and selected the PMDG 737-800 -instead of asking me for the Activation Key,it said, Failed to Initialize License. I tried reinstalling,and the problem proceeded. What Should I do to be able to put in the activation key that I received in order to activate it? Thanks!

hi every one... i had a simple problem whit my B737 in FSX a few days ago my FSX crashed and i had to re install is again. after installing i decided to install my pmdg b737 just like always....but this time...after the installing finished i realized that there is a problem in my b737 TCAS system...because it shows some red lines on the PFD and these lines never leave the PFD even in cruise flight. i don't know why this happened....at previous times i didnt have this problem...i also tried to re install the B737 again but no difference happened. here is the picture that can describe my problem beter than words..!! did any body ha…

Hi, this question is might silly question, I`ve set X button for A/T disengage switch.,and When I disengage that, The only A/T supposed to be disengaged but even A/T Arm switch is being disconneted.also I`m using 744 and 777, both of them works well but not only for 737. Do u have any solution for this problem?
