Hallo, I have a strange problem: if fly with 737 800/900 winglets, that comes with the product, then I can save my flight and load it latur to continue, and it is functioning correctly. But with the downloade livery Air Berlin winglets the program do save the flight, but it is not visible on the list in diolog for opening saved flights. What's going wrong? Is saving possible only for original liveries? with best regards Rafal Ziolkowski

I was flying the NGX with the original AIRAC data into YBBN (orbx) and was assigned a runway by FSX ATC. I chose a STAR, and got this FMC message: ARR N/A for runway. Can someone explain what this would indicate? I thought it meant that the STAR was not for that runway, but I'm not certain (and I enjoy the education from my colleagues). Thanks. Rob

As there is no 2D window support for the throttle quadrant in PMDG737NGX, it requires "mouse look" to check the trim value. Is there some workaround or add-on program that can show this value in some kind of window? BR, Magnus

My plane has disappeared - well the body of the plane - some of the wings are there - and there's a PMDG square box where the cockpit is supposed to be. I'll start by saying I have searched a lot of topics on Avsim and attempted the fixes I found including I have HIGHMEMFIX=1 in my fsx.cfg Graphics section. My computer is fairly strong and this only has now started happening after reloading PMDG software for another reason. Hi . I have a question about the N1 button on the MCP. I tried to do a take off with LNAV en VNAV not armed, after liftoff and above 400 feet engaged LNAV, LNAV comes online, then, when the PFD mode enunciator changed from TO to ARM and before thrust reduction height pushed the N1 button and it was my believe that the climb mode would then be engaged, climb would be on the upper EICAS and N1 on the PFD mode enunciator. But nothing happened..I can not manually select N1 with the N1 MCP switch, only at thrust reduction height entered in the CDU N1 engages. Am I wrong to believe that in the real plane this can be done? Thanks ivo

I cannot get the EGT light to go off when starting #2. One suggestion was to see if any failures were reported - I replied 'none', but then I realized I didn't really know if I had answered correctly. How do you know if a failure has been reported. Another suggestion was that I may have inadvertently set a failure - I haven't learned a lot about failures yet, but I did find the page in my CDU - is there an 'all reset' for failures - does 'clear all' or 'service all' in the maintenance do it? Since I am not sure how to turn one on I don't know how to turn them off (though as I scan through I can't find an obvious problem). Another option is to delete and …

I have noticed that at some airports as I approach the turn on to the localizer heading and I engage APP mode, the APP heading selected using the AFCS knob jumps 1 or 2 degrees and cannot be corrected back to the procedure published heading. And this is at variance with the procedure heading displayed on the CDU. I can't find anything in the manuals on this. The result is that in APP mode the aircraft is not aligned with the runway heading. Anybody seen this??? Thanks

When I put in a notch of flaps, the auto pilot disconnects. This happens from Flaps1 all the way to Flaps 40. I have hardware so I use FSUIPC to bind the flaps hardware flap lever. What should I look for? I use to fly the NGX a lot but it has been a while. I did not have this problem and the only changes I have made is the installation of the T7.

Just switched from DX9 -> DX10 after having some serious OOMs issues trying to fly the NGX to one of Aerosoft's latest releases (LGTS Thessaloniki) and the NGX works perfectly fine in every aspect but one thing that I really miss and was hoping for is cockpit shadows. According to the developer of the DX10 Fixer Tool shadows in the virtual cockpit could most probably be added to the NGX but it needs to be done by you guys since it requires some change in the a/c model. Somewhat new to the 737 - I've gotten to the point where I can start the APU - transfer power - start the #2 engine (ground/turn on fuel) - it fires up and all is good. But when I start #1 engine - it powers up - all lights clear - but the red EGT line won't go away. Both engines have similar readouts except the oil temp for #2 is 100 and it is -10 for #1....obviously an issue - any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is realy strange. I have some pitch related issue with NGX only, for approx. 1 week. On take off, i can't rotate above 7-8 degrees pitch up, becouse i will lose too much speed. Usualy(one week ago), i needed arround15 degrees pitch up to mantain V2+20. Now, i need to keep it above 8 degrees for V2+20. I checked weights, flaps settings, temps, engine RPM and gear up. It happens with NGX only. I never heard about similar issue, so, any suggestions before i completely re-install NGX?

I checked and probably missed when doing a search on the forum. What is the solution to resolving uncommanded rolls to left and right of LNAV heading? I'm having the same problem with the PMDG 777 too. Wing and engine heat is on. I tweak the trim stabilizer trim tabs to help with crosswinds. Still have the rolls. Welcome any guidance on this.

Hello, i have T.Flight Hotas X Joystick from thrustmaster. It is very accurate with all of flight games such as microsoft flight, Hawx ....etc, but i have a problem with its throtlle regarding NGX. when i push the throttle half the way the engines thrust goes about 70%, i have the default values in the fsx controls section. i think the problem is with the sensitivity of the throttle bar.....i hope someone will provide me with the best options for null zones and sensitivity for the all axis so that i have better control with ngx.thanks in advance!

Frogive me if this is not the right place to post my topic. Has anyone else using the excellent product for PMDG had this problem. I have used the 737NGX with Ezdok v1.17 very well for many months, with no issues of moving between panel views. Recently I purchased TrackIR5 with the Eazy Pro Clip attachment. I have excellent views laterally i.e. left and right, and straight ahead. My problem is when I raise or lower my head to look at either the overhead panel or the pedestal. I have the limited views, for the overhead, I can only see upto the fuel pumps and APU, after that if I turn my head the view becomes distorted, and I cannot activate the switches etc;…

I have just bought the 737 NGX package but the lower centre EICAS is always blank. If I click on this display it just brings up an enlarged blank screen. Is there an option I have to turn on to get this display to become active? Any help would be appreciated.

Hey Guys, recently I had some more time for flightsim and stubled across this new tool called "DX10 fixer". I've read quite some positive things about it, which were posted on this forum and am considering to try it out. However, I'd still have a couple questions: What about the dynamic cockpit shadows and the compatibility with the 737NGX? Do the shadows look halfway decent and does the NGX run with no problems in DX10? If anyone is running the 737NGX with the DX10 fixer in DX10, would this person be so kind and post a couple shots, showing the dynamic cockpit shadows and the aircraft in general?
