PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

Dear friends, Any colleague in this forum tested our wonderful PMDG 737NGX with the new Windows 8 plataform ? Any feedback is welcome because I am really curious as Microsoft completely changed their system to be more friendly with portable devices so I have no idea how it affect desktops and notebooks. Other 2 points : how about sound and video drivers compatibility nowadays ? How about PMDG license ? Will it get lost when upgrading to the new system ? Regards, Adenilson

Hi All I was wondering if any of you had a similar problem while updating with the operation Center. I launched the PMDG Operation Center and it advised me that an update was available. I downloaded it and executed it. I then started FSX and Loaded the PMDG B737 900 and it gave me a message asking for an identification code of somekind??? I didn't had a clue of what it was refering to so I cancelled but a message came back saying that I did not OWN the product :( . I had to restore the whole computer to the pre-installation of that update to get my aircraft back. Any comments or suggestion or ideas on what happened and how I should handle an update (this is suppo…

My question is for all out there that do multiple stops, For example, I take off from BaltimoreWashington international and want to fly into Miami with a stop in Charlotte. Do you program the FMC for just Charlott first and whe you land and at the gates go ahead and program for Miami? Or do you just put the whole flight in with Charlotte as a "To" in the route page? Just wondering what everybody does and if they know how real world pilots handle this.

Is it possible to merge the 737NGX cockpit and systems with another aircraft?

My goal is to engage the Autopilot Master ( cmd ) with a button of my Saitek Yoke. What is strange that after deleting all keyboard assingments, pressing z on the keyboard is still activating the A/P ( cmd ) ! FSX --> Options --> Settings --> Controls ---> Button keys How can I eliminate this ? Is another program interfering and if yes which one ? Hubert Werni

As stated above I still am having troubles loading textures when I change views from outside to inside and reverse. Is there a fsx.cfg setting that I am missing? I tried an Asus GT 6600 TI O\C W/2GB of DDR5. I was thinking with my system & this card the textures would load immediately. Right now I'm only flying PMDG NGX & b777. Is there any help available? Hello, I've had problems today buying the NGX with my Visa Debit card today. Everytime i try it cancels my transaction, I have enough money on my account. What to do?

I am making a custom livery for a friend and i want to make the seats the right color i know i has been done (a southwest 737-700 had the cabin done) i found the texture but it does not have the layers to paint it. If someone could point me in the right direction. -Thanks

Hi. My upper EDU center fuel quantity displays 'CONFIG' in yellow. I had turned off the center fuel pumps at 1.00 as required and this happens. Not on every flight, but on some it does this. I looked thru the documentation and didn't find it although a search doesn't always find every single thing. What does this yellow 'config' mean?

Sometimes my A/T on 737-700, the switch won't lock and stay engaged or I engage it and then it disengages on its' own. Any help? Also when I shut down the engines, the first engine will shut down (whether its #1or#2), but the second engine will not shut down? Any help? thanks!!!!

Last couple of flights i am getting auto fails on the cab press system. - Failures are off. - I am using AS201 - I cyled through all the Bleed and other switches. tried ALTN, nothing works. - Alt is 38000ft. Hi, My hard drive recently crashed and (I know I should have) didn't backup my program files. I need to re-install the Base 737NGX. I contacted PMDG and already have my new re-install code. Just need the program without paying for it again. Please HELP. Thanks in advance.

I have the following problem when starting my pmdg 737 800/900. The textures in th virtual cockpit are grey and I can not explain how to resolve this issue. The 2d panel is working well. Even after re-installing it the problem was still not solved . My system: Win7 professional 64 bit intel core 2 quad@2,83 ghz nvidea Gforce gtx 760 phantom 8 gb ram directx 11 I attached a picture of my virtual cockpit. Hi I'm trying to program FMC pmdg 737 vor/dme egcc 23R approach. Attached picture shows the chart. What seems to be problematic is how to program it after MCT D12.3 turning heading 003. Any suggestion on how to program this kind of approach,....I will use VOR lock when doing turn to radial 228. My approach would be based on Baltic Aviation Academy simulation with an older 737: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9RzCB6ZcTLA According to what they say during the simulation the last fmc point seems to be MCT D12.3....so after that there is maybe only RWY 23 R point? Having fun with the 737 that I just purchased! I downloaded my first flight plan from SimBrief and figured out how to get the FMC to load it. I am new to this FMC stuff and flight plans but I got enough of it to work that the plane actually flew the route (KORD => KJFK). I guessed at an approach, ILS 4R. When I got near JFK the plane did everything once I reset the MCP Altitude. The plane came in for a perfectly aligned landing on 04R. The only problem is I guess I did something wrong and the plane was going to fly over the runway at like 50'. I am sure it was pilot error. (I have only gone through Tutorial 1 once). But my question is the plane came in great on…

hi, i´m having a probllem when exiting MSFS. when i finish a flight and press the "end flight" button on the fsx menu, a "fatal error" message appears. can anyone help me?? because i had already installed the NGX on another PC and this didnt happen. THANKS

I figured I would put the different questions I had into one post to save time. 1. When I am at the gate with the 737ngx and my cargo doors are open I can see clear through to the other side of the plane. Is there a setting or some sort of fix for this? There isn't even a door on the other side of the plane to look through. Also, when I first started flying the plane I could see it light up the inside cabin. Now the windows are silver and I can not look in. I assume at some point I changed a setting, but am not sure which one. 2. I figured posting this here may give more unbiased feedback than the fs2crew forum. I do a lot of flying worth my 737ngx and use the basic fs2crew which I love. I am curious how many fly with emergencies enabled on their 737ngx and of that group of people how many use fs2crew emergency ngx and how their experiences have been. I'm still busy working on my skills of flying the plane normally, but eventually I think I may enjoy incorporating random failures. Chris H

I am having a problem where the estimated time to my next waypoint on my mfd is spinning wildly. The eta displays on the FMC are not steady either. What do I need to do to correct this?

the windows are all filled in any options already tried to disable windo plugs. I have done paints before and this has not happened.
