    I have new PC with Windows 7 and have installed FSX; REX; ORBX; 737NGX. All works well with good fps. Last week I flew on VATSIM from EGKK to EGCC and return. Multiple air traffic controllers were online and all functioned correctly. Upon landing back at EGKK I switched from EGKK APP to EGKK GND as requested, but could not get voice contact with the ground controller. The radio was set to the correct frequency for ground control - but the voice channel stayed with EGKK APP. I operated the transfer button to switch the selected and standby frequencies several times - but the frequency did not switch. At the start of the flight I had selected EGKK GND and it had…

    Dear friends, I just had the best flight of my virtual career and I simply have to share it. It was a flight SWA297 from KLAX to KSFO (VTU5.RZS.J501.BSR.BSR2), a familiar route for me.   4. Could someone please tell me if this small flap door should be open even in flight? Is there a way to close it? Flap is closed on loading: Then opens after fully loading: The open flap in question, is the one below the rear starboard service door Also you will notice another small flap door opens just above the left tyre on the starboard wing.

  5. Hello everyone, I just bought the CH throttle quadrant, it works fine with my other aircraft, but I have a problem with it in the NGX. No matter what pair of levers I assign for the throttle axes, engine #2's throttle moves a little different than #1. With both levers in the idle detent, engine #2's thottle is out of idle, about 40% of thrust. When I advance power, engine #2äs throttle moves slower than #1, at one point I have symmetrical thrust, and #1 reaches max power before #2. I do not use FSUIPC, I calibrate the quadrant in the CH control manager.

    Firstly appologies for touching on this subject again, i'm having a nightmare everytime i slightly touch my CH USB 3 lever Yoke handle my B737NGX autopilot disengages and the plane plumets to the ground, I have tried numerous times to calibrate it, but it appears to be too sensitive to movement and I have to manually centre the Yoke by looking at the lower DU (sys) to avoid any climbs or descents, wish I knew how to keep the Yoke rigidly set centred so a fair degree of pilot pressure was needed to increase climb or descent now it just seems to loose and i'm hesitant to touch the yoke for fear of disengaging the autopilot and spoiling yet another flight.     Hi Guys I received kind help in he past with my CH USB 3 lever yoke Elevators problem basically unable to get a normal response from the elevators which either pitch up or pitch down on slightest touch on yoke they never centre on the aircrafts controls synopic (sys) have tried calibrating with CH Control Manager and later with FSX calibrator, have set FMC trim then Trim wheel on takeoff have Elevator Trim on Y Axis and Trim Up Trim Down set on rocker switch on Yoke. Strangely though I removed my Yoke from my Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit Desktop and put it onto my Windows 7 Home Premium 64Bits Laptop and the Yoke worked perfectly with elevators realigning after bein…

  10. When I am about 30 feet above the runway (with autopilot off) and flaring to land the rudder makes a hard left or right causing the plane to bank in that direction. It happens randomly and I have no idea what the problem might be I have installed the latest update and also tried reinstalling the aircraft but the problem persist.     Probably, I made something wrong, but I don't understand: on the EFIS the T/D point has been reached, but not on the CDU. Everything works fine and I can descend without problem, but the EFIS display seems strange. Thanks for your help. I am french (nobody's perfect :blush: ) and newbie. I hope this post is correct.   12. I just reinstalled my pc with Windows 7 Ultimate x64 in order to fly with the B737NGX. Yet when I start FSX, I have to enter my activation code for the B737. This happens successfully. My FSX loads the 737 wonderful, so I thought. But when I wanted to depart at the gate, I had to activate my APU in order to start my engines. APU has been started but I can't select the APU power. I hit the switch to select the APU power, but nothing happens. Also if the external power is connected at the gate, the selector doesn't activate the GPU. I hear nothing, like air flowing out of the A/C packs or an APU that is starting up.... The EGT gauge of the APU is working though, and the…

    This is a question for PMDG Team: on page 124 of the Introduction Manual for the newly released T7 there is a great picture that gives some good reference points to properly set up the right Point of view from Captain seat. Would it be possible to have something similar for the NGX ? I don't think I have seen anything like this on the NGX manuals unless I am missing something.... Thanks Regards

    In my NGX, there is a large circle in the VC on the captain's side that is more transparent/less tinted than the rest of the Windshield [since I don't know the professional term!] Does anybody know why this has happened and what causes it/any fixes?

    Hi, I was wondering if someone have a tutorial with PFPX and NGX !?? I am not able enter value suggested by PFPX in my NGX Ryanair (737-800 WL). For instance.     So I have downloaded a bunch of liveries from the download manager and they are installed in FSX. Today, I loaded up Alaska N553AS and in FSX the "details" is showing tail #PH-BXH which I believe is for the KLM 738. So I decided to fly and it was displaying a different autopilot panel (I think the Honeywell vs. Collins) and weights were in kg's instead of pounds. What's up with this? I am trying to figure out what I am doing wrong.

    Hi, I bought and installed the 737NGX 800/900 base pack. I then installed the SP1c. Now I try to install the 600/700 expansion pack and it gives me a message saying ''The setup has detected no version of PMDG 737 6700 NGX RTM is installed.     Hi, The spoilerons on the NGX becomes much more sensitive once the spoilers deploy on touchdown. This results in the spoilerons going back down (or a bit up) by only small control inputs. It remains like thisnuntil the spoilers are stowed back down. I wonder if there's a way to change this so that they have the same sensitivity as when the spoilers are back down? Kind regards Johan

  22. Hello fellow simers, I've noticed a gain of about 5 fps every time I open the fmc window. I've tried minimizing the number 2 FMC and draging it to the point of just seeing a corner of it, but this doesn't seem to work as well as just opening the number 1 FMC. I have also noticed that if I put my mouse cursor on my fspax little greyed out box I gain about 10 fps. Anybody else have stuff like this happening?

    Hello This problem is first and foremost a problem with the AI traffic I use (MyTraffic 2013), but the problem is made up in two parts, and the latter one is perhaps part of PMDG limitation. Whenever I fly night time and get close to some of the AI models, their night textures shut down and they become more or less black. If I back away, they light up again. I found out that by pressing 'L' and activating your own aircraft lights, all the AI lights up, regardless of your distance to them. Now to the second part of the problem. When using the NGX, pressing 'L' will not do anything, as there is no 'main light switch' for the NGX. However, if I PRESS and HOLD…

    Took a break and went to the NGX again and I think I never had this before, OPT FL396 MAX FL391. I'm not 100% sure now but I think I saw the MAX at FL402, so I came back after some minutes, changed the MCP to 40,000 then popped up the FMC to confirm the climb and then surprise, it showed MAX 390, what happened?     Hi to all! Can someone explain to me what's the best way to simulate the steering tiller? In particular way, my target it's, if possible, simulalate the max 737' steering angle, about 70°. Actually I have a rudder pedal system and one joystick with Z axis; via FSUIPC, the rudder pedal system comands the rudder value, while the joystick z axis comands the tiller value. To steering I use the tiller (so the joystick) but seem that our 737 is not able to turn with an angle of 70° (and it's not about this value). Can you help me? Thanks in advance; regards Emanuele
