  3. Hello everyone. Can anyone of you guys tell me why when I cut the throttles to idle in the joystick, when landing, I see the throttle in the VC advancing a bit forward, never coming back to idle? Is it supposed to be like that? I find it a bit weird and I'd like to know if it's a local problem - mine - or if is some B737 protection, not allowing the throttles to go to completely idle when flying. My first thought was, ok, I have to recalibrate my joystick, but it still the same. I tested with other aircrafts I have, namely, the PMDG B747 and MD-11 and I can go full and idle throttle with absolutely no problems. Cheers, Daniel

  4. I can't seem to do it.. I can start ONE engine, but the pressure seems to low to spin up engine #2? I must be missing something, even after turning the start contact knob to "Flt" for the running engine, the 2nd engine will not go over about 17 N1 (need 25 N1 to engage) If I start the APU, I can fire up both engines. I would 'guess' I should be able to start both with ground carts connected? Thanks in advance.

    Hello after PFPX has been released i have done a couple flights trying it out with the ngx . but i have noticed that i always get the fuel wrong . the difference sometimes is between 0.8 to 1.5 lbs (in thousands of course ^_^ ) so its a big difference . has anybody faced problems like mine or is it just that i need to change my fuel bias . Regards

    Not sure if this is the right forum, I downloaded a 747X from the PMDG site with no problem, I went to my downloads there was the PMDG icon I clicked it and the 747x went right in no problem I also download two 737x when I went back to my download folder there were there also but there was no PMDG icon just two folders when I opened one up there was a internet icon and the PMDG_737NGX_900WL_CO, Unlike the 747x Livery I downloaded there was no PMDG icon to click Alvin Bilbo

    This happens to be a lot and I'm trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong. This is the KAYOH4 (HEC trans) into KSNA John Wayne, CA. As I approach HDF (coming from DAWNA), the FMS slows me down. I'm not sure why because the speed and altitude at HDF is 269/11000. I'm only 2000 ft above that target but it wants to slow me down 60+ knots? In the second picture you can see the speed coming back up. Any ideas?

    Hi, I'm a 2D-panel type of guy. However, when in the "main" 2D panel view, the landing lights (taxi, reflected strobe etc) is not visible as it is from the VC. Is there a way to work around this and get the light right? 2D-panel VC Kind regards Johan

I've been spending alot of time in the 777, but something happened to me a couple weeks ago in the NGX I wanted to post about finally, and thank PMDG for... the systems depth on your products is amazing, and even after a year or so of flying the NGX I still find myself surprised by how detailed the NGX is modeled. I was on a flight from KMIA to MHTG when all of a sudden at FL350, 10 minutes or so into cruise, I got the TOCW. At first I was thinking "this is insane"... "this is a bug"... "how the !$ could I get a takeoff warning in cruise?" The shrieking of the warning bells was driving me crazy, yet no warning light of any kind had gone off in the entire cockpit... just t…

    Hi, I tried starting up (from shut down, but power on). Did the sequence as I've done it hundreds times before, but when everyting is up and running, Engine No 1 instruments is not working. The throttle in the VC reacts when I push my CH throttle forward, I hear the engine spool up, but there is nothing happening in the upper EICAS... Does anyone have an idea of what's going on here? Regards Johan EDIT: Upon further inspection I realize that it is not instrumental, the engine itself does not react to the throttle after the startup. It runs normally when the flight loads up with engines running.

    On the liveries that you can download from the PMDG website, After you install the livery Are the settings in the aircraft airline specific, Like you did with deliveries in the 777? Or is there like a way to download for example certain settings that are equipped in the Alaska Airlines fleet?

  17. Hello Team! I am growing increasingly frustrated with the fact that when you make a turn on the 737 - without regard to using the VC or the 2D panel, the front view shifts towards the direction of the turn. I can see some folks thinking this is a cool functionality but I'd rather keep control of where I want to look. For me, it screws my point of view around. Is there a way to disable this function?   19. Hi, I suspect I might have found an error in the Fire protection FAULT light logic. According to the FCOM, with the fire detection loop switches in "normal", failure of both detection loops for an engine causes the FAULT light to illuminate. (No master caution) This means, suppose loops A and B for engine 1 fail -> FAULT light illuminates. In the NGX though, I need to fail all 4 loops (e.g. Loop A and B for engines 1 AND 2) in the FMC/failures menu, for the fault light to illuminate. Please correct me if I missed something. Hi, Been a while flying the NGX after the release of the PMDG777-200LR/F and i noticed my driver for the MCP from CPflight keeps crashing during startup and my CDUII from VRInsight has forgotten the FMC overall size layout and will not save a new Size/location. So has the upgrade changed permission read/write to files or is it just a simple reinstall of these softwares ? Thanks Michael Moe

    So i recently got Accu-Feel and i had it running with a few light planes and the PMDG 1900D and it worked perfectly. So then i moved up to the Pmdg 737 ngx and when i first went to take off the plane started to more or less (Woful) side to side. I had trouble keeping it on the center line and even when i landed, the plane did the same thing again and it was really hard to keep it even on the runway.When i turned accu-feel of it didn't do it so i'm positive it's to do with Accu-feel. Has anyone else had this problem? and is it maybe to do with the Accu-Feel settings?
