Dear Sir or Madam, I bought your product PMDG 737NGX 800/900 + 600/700 some time ago. Now, after a certain time of absence, I decided to reinstall FSX to be able to fly again. But I came in serious trouble using the PMDG 737NGX series. Every time I ended a flight via "End Flight", FSX crashed with an APPCRASH error pointing to the PMDG_737NGX.DLL file. As I could not resolve that issue I decided to reinstall Windows from the scratch. But the problem still resists. So I did some interesting research. Hi all! I'm getting Full Throttle sound when throttles are at idle after landing. I land, use reverse thrust, disengage reversers, taxi to stand, but the full throttle sound remains :unsure: Any idea's other than a reinstall? :Praying: Many thanks! :smile:

Hi, when I started using this every flight I've done, a fatal error occurs and FSX crashes it usually happens when I start setting up for descent or when I'm on base or on final. The last time it did this was today and I was about 10 minutes before dissent into Santa Ana KSNA, The two times before that both times I was going into Phoenix The first time going into Phoenix I was about 5 miles from the runway Second time I was on pace for runway 25L getting ready to turn onto Final. Hello, guys I'm doing a little research on how to fly the NGX with step climbs, thanks to our new toy, PFPX. Before PFPX, I used to just select a cruise FL around 360, setup the FMS and then go to the progress page, check witch was the optimal FL, set that to the new cruise FL, and the set the next FL in the step climb line to do a step climb. Now, for example in the flight I did today, PFPX gave an initial cruise of 16000 due to an airway limitation, after that a step climb to FL280, 80 miles after this, an optimal FL of 360; and after quite a while another step to 380. My question is, how is it managed in real life? If I set 16000 as cruise level in the P…

No idea how to fix this - betting Tabs has a clue! Can reproduce easily. 1. Start FSX Default flight (Caribbean and Ultra Light) 2. Choose KSFO airport and gate A12 3. Select PMDG 737-700 Southwest Canyon Blue Livery 4. After doing the 'countdown to zero' for the PMDG plane, immediate FATAL ERROR occurs (white screen) and message "FSX is restarting". Imagine following scenario with PMDG 737 -800 at TNCM. TNCM RWY 10 MULLET ONE DEPARTURE to JUICE transition. Initial climb and right turn to D10 is OK. What comes next is more challenging. According to the SID chart: ".....track 315, intercept B-520 " How should I intercept B-520 on radial 292 PJM if I need to follow the chart exactly. Can this be done with a 737? Sincerely -Geir

When I execute the shutdown checklist and move the engine cutout lever to cutout the engine stays running. Engine 1 shuts down just fine. What am I doing wrong?

The other day I made a flight plan using PFPX and then exported it into the PMDG flight plan folder. When entering this flight plan into the CDU ( coroute ) it was not accepted ! ( error messages ) Using the same method with FSBuild works ok. Any idea what is wrong ? Cheers Hubert Werni

I have a new computer, and I am installing everything again. I am having trouble registering my PMDG 737-800, 900. The activation code request comes up, and I enter the authorization code from my order for the basic package, and it does not recognize it.

I made a flight plan from LSZH ( Zurich ) to LSGG ( Geneva ) using PFPX . At SPR the plan indicated an altitude of 5204 feet and I ask myself if this is right since the Glide Slope ( for ILS 23 ) starts at 7000 feet. In other words do I have to be at 7000 feet when crossing SPR or can I be lower ? A chart is included. Thanks Hubert Werni

I have recently been getting into the big jets more, flying longer distances and quite frankly I absolutely adore the avionics packages on the current generation of 737's and would love to sit and program them, then watch the labor of my works unfold during approaches as these systems are absolutely amazing. After downloading, installing, and activating both the base 737ngx as well as the 600/700 model expansion I started a flight. I changed the panel state to Cold and Dark via the FMC. After flicking on the battery, A strange beeping noise began. Once the beeping started, none of the gauges or switches would move. I do in fact have a legitimate copy of the ngx, so that is not the problem. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks a lot!

Hi guys, My problem is, when i land manual with A/T on, it sometimes won't "retard" during the flare. It worked fine at EDDF, ENGM and it needed a second try at EDDW. It doesn't work at LOWW and LGIR. I always selected VREF in the FMC and MCP. Hope you can help me.

The PMDG 737-800 NGX is equipped with and 'HGS' between the radio's on the centre pedestal. I had an argument with a 737NG pilot (Standing in the picture) who visited our flightsim group meeting at Ipplepen, and claimed he knew nothing of this appliance but claimed 3000 hours in the NG with Thompson Flight. Who was right, him or me?
