PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

Hi There, I few months ago I bought PMDG 737NGX for FSX (off there website), To start off with it was all working fine. But now for some unknown reason every time I fly it none of the Letters/numbers on the instruments show up? eg: speed, Height and engine performance. Dose anyone know a way to fix this problem? Hi there - I saw it in one video but I'm not having trouble finding the option. I would like to change from two class seating setup (First class and Economy) to one class configuration. There should be an option somewhere in the FMC but I can't seem to find it. Anyone know where is it exactly? Thanks in advance.

I mistakenly deleted my activation code for my -600/700 expansion pack. I put it onto my computer and activated it, but when I get a new computer I will not be able to. What should I do? EDIT: Since I have a tendency to panic before thoroughly thinking something through, after viewing my PMDG Previous Orders it shows the purchases w/ their respective codes. Sorry :(

Hello fellow simmers, I've been working on a paint for almost a week, slowly getting the result I want to see... Right now I'm stuck with 1 little part. The sensor that is located in the intake, should be textured. But where the h.ll? It's soo small, and there are so many parts textured. I'm guessing it is located in either pmdg_NGX_misc or pmdg_NGX_misc_1 but I can't isolate it. Anyone can help a hand? Thanks for your input. Vital Vanbeginne

Hi! I haven't been hearing any cockpit sounds in the pmdg 737 but inside the cockpit only the engine sounds could be heard. However, cockpit sounds work for the pmdg 747! Any idea whats going on? I tried configuring sound options in the CDU already.

Hello, this is my first experience on these forums and I guess i'm hoping for a good answer. You see, when I start up my PMDG 737 NGX and run through the procedures. I get to the part where you turn the PFD;s on and all I see is an outline of it with no information. HELP!

Well to start i don't know what ISA is been reading but can't figure it out! I do the calculations per tutorial 2 into the FMC and thats that done but my question is he works out ISA from FL180 is this the standard alt for it ie TL or can i do the calculation based on my dest airport TL?

I saw this I guess about a year ago on Boeings newairplane.com website and thought I would share it with everyone. It’s a highly detailed 360 degree photo Boeing took of a brand new “then” Continental 737-900. When it was first put on the website Boeing said it was the first “gigapixel” photo in the world. I just did a clean install of NGX base pack, SP1 and than Expansion pack. Everything worked fine. Than I downloaded easyjet and SAS (737-700NGX) liveries and now I can't enter Performance Manager. The popup says:"Unknown versions were detected or variants do not match. Do you wish to reset all variants?" When I press "Yes" the popup reappears.. it can go on forever. When I press "No" it disappears but there is no green check mark besides "Virtual Cockpit Displays" buttons. If I press one of two of those buttons the same popup reappears again. All of the 737ngx sounds are not working within FSX. I can hear the basic sounds, i.e. engines, landing gear, etc but all the other sounds are not working. I would love to be able to hear the FO Callouts, the Switches and levers, the CAWS, autopilot disengage, etc. I checked the Sound settings in the FMC and it shows no sound device. How do I fix this ? I installed the PMDG NGX on Windows 8, but there is continuomente, even in cold and dark, a continuous sound and strong air conditioning. I tried reinstalling the program but I have not solved. Sorry for my english.

Despite having gone through some different tutorials, etc, I am having a hard time trying to fully understand the different hand flying options in the 737NGX. Assuming I’ve loaded a flight plan into the FMC so I have a course line to follow, my "understanding" is as follows (please correct as needed): If I don’t turn on LNAV, VNAV, AT, CMD A, etc, all pitch, roll, IAS and N1 settings are under my control, and there is no FD display even if the FD switches are on. If I now turn on LNAV and VNAV, I will have FD roll and pitch guidance (if the FD switches are on), and power (N1 settings) and IAS are still under my control. If I then turn on AT, and the autopilot with CMD…

Hi guys, after a few weeks break (and after hearing todays weather forecast) I decided to jump back into the 737 cockpit and fly from NZAA to NZWN. What an amazing experience. Wet Rocky and Wild! NZWN is decent at the best of times but in todays gusty wet windy and woeful weather it was just an awesome experience. Yes the 777 sp1 may be hot on everyone's lips but the good old 737 is far from dead. Don't you agree? Best flight of the week mid-afternoon today NZ time. p.s. ASN compulsory!

Hey guys, I always felt like my NGX stop too short after landing. now I've been in a cockpit landing in a 737 800 and also confirmed it with this video: I've set the exact numbers and tried to land at the very beginning of the runway, but for some reason I stopped way earlier then he did. does anyone know why? any Idea? I've heard something about sim1.dll in the past and I recall trying it, but also recall changing it back to normal. any help appreciated!! cheers.

Any ideas on how to restore it?Mouse wheel definitely works - all other programs see it as a scroll. and I can use L and R mouse buttons to change values on MCP windows, but up until now the mouse wheel was working for all of them and now works for none. I did just install EZ Dok Camera, but even when I globally disabled it and then uninstalled it, it did not restore this functionality... Anyone with similar issues? -Ed Levine

Hi, I posted previously in another thread but I had to create this one as the last one wouldn't load on my computer but I fly the ngx and I try and do an autoland into yssy 16l and 16r but all of a sudden these have been playing up when I am about at 300ft and I am centred with the runway, the glide slope diamond moves down and the aircraft tries to correct it but it just goes nose down and crashes. It only happens at yssy 16l and 16r and I have landed there countless times before. I haven't got any new AFCADs and thermals are off. This weird behaviour only occurs of the weather isn't clear. One cloud and boom. Help!

Hi, the readme does not say how we set the livery manager to CREATE a ptp file from our own repaints, i checked every button of the livery manager but there is no such option?johnny
