PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

Hallo. I have a trouble with my PMDG 737. From one day to another my gauges not work. The are black and I can not do anything. Can any help me? Kjelle

I think this belongs in another forum but believe also this forum too as its sound related to the engines spooling up! I'll start off, i was using turtle beach headset which was fantastic, the sound quality was amazing could here each and every individual sound but i moved to vatsim and couldn't hear the controllers well so shifted all sound to my speakers! I'm using VG248QE everything is perfect but one thing only i can't hear the engines spool up but can hear them great on the headset. Will i have to buy some sort of sorround system or something? Thanks

Hi, First, sorry to my Inglês. I'm having trouble opening the doors for my NGX FMC in cold and dark mode, no doors open, I upgraded to the SP1c, checked directx and C++ 2008 package is all ok, does anyone know what can be? Tks Rodrigo

Hi, I have some weird problem while using PMDG 737. While in a flight, some buzz sound starts to repeat out of nowhere and I can't find what causes that. There is no message on FMC or any alert on display. It just keeps repeating whole flight and starts after take off while the plane reached the flying altitude. Can someone help me find it? Thanks.

Hey all, Just throwing this out there.... Is there a lighting upgrade that can be applied (pay ware or otherwise) to upgrade the NGX's lights to be on the same level as those on Airbus X? The way that aircraft's lights light up the ground and surrounding scenery is really impressive and by far the best implementation of aircraft ground lighting I have seen in the sim.

Hi all! So, i have a big problem with the TOGA button, ruin my whole flight. Everything has worked before but it wont work now. When at 30-40% i hit the TOGA button, nothing special about that. But the power is just getting up to about 50% and stops there, so i have no speed? About 1 week ago when i fly everythign has worked fine but now its just getting up to 50%. Whats the problem??? I have done everything correct but it is something wrong. Very frustrated. Thanks for answer guys!

hi, I climb on VNAV in the NGX as they do in real life and to get to 35,000ft it takes 60-90mins, which is way off, as my flying instructor is a F.O for Thomson, and he says it 30mins to 35,000ft, how on VNAV can I sort out the speed of the climb Thanks Joe Sorry for posting 3 times

Hi Pmdg staff, I bought T7 a couple of weeks ago and yesterday bought 737NGX. The very 1st time with the T7 after download I was able to install it on my Win 64 bits pro sp1 with FSX Acceleration. Everything worked as it should. The frustration just rose when I decided to purchase the 737 NGX yesterday. After finshed downloading, no matter what I tried, the 737 won't install with the error of Catastrophic failure with feature content. Ive tried to redownload the package several times, install over and over and over again same problem. I gave my FSX folder proper admin rights, execute everything as they should be as directed by some others in here but no succe…

Ok so it turns out the PMDG 737NGX .cfg files are set to Read Only which is what causes the Sim to crash on exit it seems. To fix this Simply go to your FSX install directory FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\Then go into each PMDG 737 Folder and find the Aircraft.cfg file, single left click to select the file, then right click and select properties Untick "Read Only" then Apply and Ok. Make sure to do this for each PMDG 737 Folder in your "SimObjects\Airplanes" directory Happy ConTrails

hi..when i start fsx with my pmdg737ngx ...its on rwy 24r in lax..the throttles move my themselves to full throttle...they are just roaring and the plane starts to move. the only way i can slow it down is to hit F1, to bring the power down....apply brakes...i have windows 7 home premium...any one how i can solve this prolem..thanks rgds ..ken hanson cylw

Hey Flight simmers. Seeing as I've almost solved my OOM issue with the PMDG 737NGX this thought came to mind. I bought FsPassengersX a while ago and I tried to use it with the PMDG. After about a couple seconds: Fatal error. I followed the guide shown at http://www.fspassengers.com/forum/read.php?f=2&i=30169&t=30169 but I couldn't get ahold of Brian York so the guide was only partly helpful. I need ways on how to get FsPassengersX working with the PMDG and preferably with the Mini Display active. Thanks, and have fun simming!

I'm at FL270 and my TAT on the engine displays +21 C. Way off and causing my cruise speed to be too low at around 199. Where do I adjust my outside air temperature? I don't see a field on the CDU (or am I blind?). Thanks...

Hi everyone, I am using PMDG 737 NGX. My problem is ; When takeoff, I am pressing to ToGA button (After N1 %40 and stable), but aircraft not accelerating (I see max %45-50N1). I hear click sound when I press to toga and I see toga is active on LCD.. It works sometimes and not others. I always starting cold & dark and with correct FMC settings (T/O speeds,trim etc.) i can't understand how sometimes the TOGA works and sometimes it doesn't? Can anyone help me, what is problem??? Check the link below guys this is the 2nd airport i have found that doesn't match that of navigraph. 1. at EICK where the ILS freq in FSX is different to that of Navigraph so i had to do a FAC + G/P app the FMC basically created a virtual space ILS cooool 2. is the subject i'm on about it starts at LEMG i selected RWY ILS z 12 STAR was VULPE 1DCK and OMIGO trans. as i approached the ILS i seen that the runway was disjointed so i took a pict of it below. was quite fun i just disengaged once i was established flew it manually with a right hand turn job done! I was using GSX to pushback from KLAX gate and all the sudden the cockpit got very bright. I didn't touch a thing. Can someone identify these lights so I can turn them off!? I thought they were dome lights but flipping that switch only made things brighter.

Hi there, I have a problem with my NGX. I do not have any cockpit sounds (EGPWS, TCAS, Fire bells, Cautions, switches clicks etc). Other sounds (engines, wind etc) are OK. And its only with NGX. There is no such issue with any other aircraft (including PMDG 744X). My Windows playback device is set to stereo, as it is stereo. In FSX sound device is default (and switching to other options does not help). And when I go to sound options on aircraft's FMC/CDU it says 'device: none' and when I click it, there are no sound devices. I can't think of anything else to fix it. Clicking 'Q' twice does not help either. Can any user or PMDG STAFF here help me? Thanks!

Hi guy's i brought the plane when it was released, but today i have taken it upon myself to do a complete reboot of windows, just wanted a good fresh installation. So i also had this issue of activating my product again.Here is what i did to get around it. Copy your serial key, then when your in fsx and you prompt to type your activation key in, "don't type it or right click the mouse hoping it will allow you to paste it it won't ". click the mouse cursor in the white blank box, then very quickly ctrl+v then immediatly after have your mouse ready to press activate button on the right. you may need to does this a couple of times . ok i'll try make sense of this guys my flight was from EGPH to EICK in ireland STAR, RNAV approach VAPAL1G ILS+DME 35 It was a disaster since commencing my descent i kept getting des path unachievable. i was way high at the end of the star i was in vnav and lnav all the way down. why is this i thought vnav was meant to get you down on the path. anyway i approach rwy 35 before turning right i tried to press vor/loc but it wouldn't arm i then tried app wouldn't arm so i just left it in vnav and lnav why was this? so i turn finals still in vnav and lnav and FAC plus G/P appear i have never seen this before? is this some sort of vnav approach mode or somethin…

Hey all, I know Nick N suggests Antialiasing Transparency Supersampling be set OFF in Nvidia Inspector - only for products whose "developers have their heads in the sand" as he says. I generally follow his guides as I think he knows a thing or two. But........ I have also read that setting 4x Sparse Grid Supersampling helps sharpen up the displays in NGX. Not sure if it is placebo but I felt that there was some improvement here. This is pretty much the only aircraft I fly. It might be affecting frame rate/smoothness though as I do use Active Sky Next with 5 layers of cloud as default. My Antialiasing setting is 8xS. I'm not sure what the difference is between …

Brilliant this is not....sigh. I wanted to program the FMC for a short flight from KJFK to KBOS using a SID out of JFK and a STAR into Boston (SID and STAR practice was the goal). But since these two airports are relatively close (about 160NM) the SIDS and STARs overlap or do not "fit well" together. For example, the NORWICH6 STAR into Boston with the JFK transition starts at the JFK VOR on JFK! So after loading the enroute flight plan from the Route Finder site, and then trying to "intelligently" select a SID and STAR , I had a mess on the LEGs page. Hi, After almost 3 years since the first release of PMDG B737 NGX some of us are still waiting for the SDK v2 release in order to implement some missing/non-faulty Events and Variables for our B737 NGX Home Cockpits. I have just one question to PMDG: Are we ever to see a B737 NGX SDK v2 update?

With all the effort PMDG went to creating such a realisitc and perfect aircraft why did they leave out the rain drop effect on the windows. I think this would have been an excellent feature. I noticed it was achieved in the J41 in there service pack. Can we petition to have this done for the NGX service pack?
