Hello, I've got just a little question. When I have an engine fire, I am always able to extinguish the fire. Is it also possible, that that i may be unable to extinguish the fire? If yes, do I have to set that in the Menu in the FMC or does that happens sometimes automatically?

I'm starting to do a deep dive into the systems and was looking in the FCOM2 for a chapter on the CFM engines...but I was surprised not to find a chapter about the engines. What's the reason Boeing decided to leave this information out of the FCOM2 systems manual? Are they assuming that the target audience already knows about jet engines? Or am I blind and just cannot find it? It should be in the FCOM2 if it exists. Thanks...

Could someone tell me how to load the 737 NGX in cold and dark? I made a save of it in this state and made it default but the "initialising" green bar thing starts up the plane anyway. I found out that you can load the plane through the "addons" tab however I have never had this tab and cannot seem to make it appear. Any help much apprieciated!!!

I just got the PMDG 737 and am in process of trying to figure it out. I can't see where it has GPS. Also, the manual makes reference to the PMDG Setup/Aircraft page. I can't find this either. If anyone can help me out it would be much appreciated.

Hello all, I just purchased my first pmdg product. I downloaded and installed the 737NGX and when I fired up FSX this is what I am seeing. My displays are all blank and there are some knobs missing. Also the exterior of the model has some errors as well. I can see through the engines and the aircraft windows let you see through the whole plane at any angle. Does anyone have any idea what's going on or what I can do to fix it? -Jeff Meyer

Im using the payware "aa sceneries bangkok" So this is the second time it happens, well the game crash, now i tell you what happen. So everything is set in fmc, route etc... I take off. Im cruising Then it´s time to approach. The VNAV descending for me. About 70 Miles from airport, i get the message what runway i may land on. The message was ILS 1L. The 737ngx CAWS and other sounds are not working within FSX. I can hear the engines, the landing gear, etc, but I would really love to hear FO Callouts, switches and levers and the CAWS. In my FMC settings under PMDG Options and Sound it shows no sound device. Could this be my problem ? and if so how the heck do I fix it ? Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi, I posted previously in another thread but I had to create this one as the last one wouldn't load on my computer but I fly the ngx and I try and do an autoland into yssy 16l and 16r but all of a sudden these have been playing up when I am about at 300ft and I am centred with the runway, the glide slope diamond moves down and the aircraft tries to correct it but it just goes nose down and crashes. It only happens at yssy 16l and 16r and I have landed there countless times before. I haven't got any new AFCADs and thermals are off. This weird behaviour only occurs of the weather isn't clear. One cloud and boom. Help!

HI, I have an issue as perhaps many others have when I fly the pmdg 737 ngx on final I disengage autopilot at 1000 fly manually then disengage A/T at 50ft throttle is at idle but when I pull back on my Saitek throttle for reverse thrust too kick in there is a delay by the time reverse thrust kicks in I am already at 60knots with autobrake. is this a normal procedure as with the real 737-800?? any advise is greatly appreciated thank you Mike

I created a two part video tutorial on the "Go Around" procedure for the 737NGX. I have just released it on my YouTube account (the links are below). I'm totally new to the Boeing 737, as well as to PMDG. I still have to learn how to program the FMC, so for now I'm using a website to generate a pln-file, but I cant find how to load the file into the PMDG's FMC. Could someone be so kind to explain to me how I can do this?

All of the 737ngx sounds are not working within FSX. I can hear the basic sounds, i.e. engines, landing gear, etc but all the other sounds are not working. I would love to be able to hear the FO Callouts, the Switches and levers, the CAWS, autopilot disengage, etc. I checked the Sound settings in the FMC and it shows no sound device. How do I fix this ? Not sure if this belongs here or in the FS2Crew section. Using the push-back from Secondary Button as opposed to the GSX pushback, which IMHO, is much more realistic, why is it that the FS2Crew push-back takes the aircraft so far back at a shallow angle that I'm almost into the jetways on the other side, as was at KIAD, whereas the GSX push-back is spot-on? Is there a way to integrate the GSX push-back into that Button Control menu, or would I be best just to bypass the FS2Crew Secondary Button's push-back request and opt for the GSX menu only?
