Hi all Maybe this has been spoken of before????? I'm finding that once I load the NGX in Cold and Start, I tend to 'ignore' checking all switch positions. I only concentrate on those which seem necessary to get the plane in the air. I take this shortcut because I know and am 'confident' that not all switch positions need to be checked as they are always in the same position. In real life, I suspect that any switch/dial/lock out/etc, could be left in any position. To 'force' you to check all switches, wouldn't it be great if a 'random switch position' setup could be optioned. Maybe this 'random' feature could be added in the Failures menu?? if you really…

Ok i have just updated my airac with pfpx and 737 ngx i've selected a sid and star in the fmc from pfpx but my concern is i can't find EGKK rwy 26L star called LUMB1D on this site - http://www.nats-uk.ead-it.com or anywhere and NATS UK update there charts. They have all the other app like willo etc from the north but can't find LUMB1D am i missing something?

Is it possible with the Saitek throttle quadrant and FSUIPC to set one of the levers to be a flaps deployment and another for spoiler deployment? Is there somewhere I can find a specific guide for this or can anyone who has done it explain to me please? Thanks guys.

I know that you can changes Buttons etc. I heats that it was something that is called "Dynamic Friction" and it will make the ground better. But, my question is: How do i do it? There are tons of livery skins for the winglet models of the 737NGs but very very few of any liveries for the Non-winglet models... anyone know where I can get domestic liveries for the non-winglet models of the 737NG? specifically the 737-800 model....

I had to record my own audio of the 737 Cockpit ambient sound. It seems that from within FSX, while you can turn up or down the engine noise, cockpit switches, and environment, you cannot adjust the volume the file that is called '737 Cockpit'. Because I have turned down all the sounds in FSX but can still hear the loud noise of either the APU or Packs... Also, are there newer soundsets for the 737-800?

Hi Guys, First Post !!! Hi I have been trying a No Bleeds takeoff as per the Supplementary procedures FCOMv1 SP2.7 and came across a problem. With the left pack on utilizing APU bleed for presurization there is a difference in the calculated takeoff N1 for both engines on both the FMC and Engine display(0.8% diff). The autothrottle will set the N1 when TO/GA is selected however because of the split there is obviously an assymetric thrust setting. Any ideas as how to solve this issue? It would appear that the status of the pack, i.e. operating or not determines the takeoff N1, even though that pack maybe running off of APU bleed air with no pneumatic l…

Ok on the ground i can't select LNAV or VNAV but after takeoff i can? I have set up the FMC correctly. Second, taking off from EGKK rnav SID rwy 8r there are speed and alt rest my aircraft holds me and gets me at my alt restrictions ok but not my speed it holds me at 250 and the waypoints are 210 so i get an FMC message saying unable to do 210 blah blah why doesn't it reduce speed?

Hi all, Not sure if I'm posting this in the right section. Couldn't seem to find the right one to put it in so I'll try here for now. I've just recently purchased and downloaded the pmdg 737 800/900 base package from pmdg website. I'm using Windows 7 64-bit. I'm able to install the package without any issues but here's my problem: When i launch FSX and try to pick one of the pmdg 737 planes, i get 2 window prompts: 1) One asked me if I wish to run the fsx2crew voice (which i purchased at the same time); 2) Online Activation window pops up to entre a product activation code. I think i'm putting in the right code but when I click on activate, it's says …

Hi Everyone; I haven't posted here in a long time. I've been flying FS since the early 80's. I've been flying the PMDG 737NG for FS2004 for years. Finally decided to try to get FSX running halfway decent and I've purchased the NGX, and love it BTW. I'm hoping you folks can help with a few questions... 1. In the 2004 NG there was a "80 knots" callout during the takeoff roll, is that not available on the NGX? 2. Is the only way to establish ground power with the cart? No way to simulate power coming from the jetway or building? 3. Is the IFE power switch supposed to be missing on the 600/700? Thanks much ahead of time. Dave Paige

Hi can you please help me I'm having a problem with my PMDG 737NGX. The moment I spool my engines to N1 40% engage TO/GA off I roll on the runway,V1 rotate at about 300-400 AGL my aircraft is decelerating losing power.I have to advance my throttle joystick to keep the engines N1 90-95% AT is armed green light all settings configured correctly.I have uninstalled and installed FSUIPC redo the settings but still the same problem.I don't really know whats going on any help would be appreciated Thanks Regards LdeeFsx247

Hey guys! I've been trying to take off from Paro airport Bhutan, and for some reason i'm not able to establish enough lift to clear the terrain. I'm configured correctly, and i've shed all the weight that i can by using minimum fuel settings and payload!! It's driving me crazy! both runway 33 and 12 were attempted with no success. I can reach up to 140 knots but then i pull back on the yoke and nothing happens.

Ok i have a few questions that need answered i'm using PFPX with 737 ngx. Today i use it for the first time with the FMC and the PFPXs SID waypoints don't match that off the SID in the 737s FMC so i just left the PFPX SID out for that portion of the plan. found out i need to update AIRAC and spend more money! Next PFPXs TOC is just about the same as the FMC but the TOD is way later than the FMCs TOD, don't why these are off? Greeeeat addon lol Oh and also 41000ft from edinburgh to gatwick? Is this right because i've looked at other plans and there way under? Just feel PFPX doesn't match up to the FMCs database what can i do? Also had a major problem with the buil…

Hey People, I was wondering if someone could help me on this problem... When I press/click buttons, it gets laggy/gaggy for 1-2Secs. is this problem known? This problem is only with the pmdg ngx... Thanks for any help given.. Oh I just found out, that its not no while clicking buttons, even just clicking on the panel somewhere makes it laggy....

Not a big deal, but it gets kinda annoying after a while...any time I move the mouse cursor over a spot in the VC where the cursor has to change to a "hand", it flickers like mad..... I have searched other forums with the same problem, and Ctl-O did nothing....any ideas? Like I said, it is no big deal, although it does slow the system down a bit when it starts to flicker. It my understanding that Lockheed is steadily working on updates to better Prepar3D's in game performance.
