PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

Hello, I've got just a little question. When I have an engine fire, I am always able to extinguish the fire. Is it also possible, that that i may be unable to extinguish the fire? If yes, do I have to set that in the Menu in the FMC or does that happens sometimes automatically?

I recognize that being in the flight deck of an actual B738, that it's going to be very loud, given all the running avionics. I totally get that. However, in the sim world, there's gotta be a way to somewhat lower the volume on the noise that continues to remain unchanged no matter how much I adjust the FSX sound settings. I have turned down the following: engine, environment (thunder, wind, etc.), and the cockpit (switches, buzzers, alarms, etc...) and it does not seem to affect this other noise that continues in the cockpit. I dont know if it's APU, packs, or what... but it needs to be lowered so that I can hear the VATSIM comms.... Any insight would be appreciate…

Whenever I fly my PMDG 737NGX and I hit 26,000 feet or FL260, my fsx crashes. It stops working and gives me an error message like FSX has stopped working. I don't know why. This never used to happen, only recently did it start. Any help? Correction: It only seems to crash when I am flying a flight for Delta Virtual Airlines with my FMC programmed. It seems like a software is making it crash.

Hi all pilots, I have some problem with my PMDG 737 and 777. The words on the panel which near to the eyepoint (High Definition - Yellow line in the picture)but the words that far from eyepoint will melt (Low Definition - Red line in picture) Can anyone tell me how to fix it. Hello! I'm writing software for my simulator using the 737NGX SDK and everything works well so far, but I just got stuck when trying to read the overhead door annunciator statuses. Unlike all other annunciators so far, I simply can not find them in the SDK. The events for the doors are listed under "Custom shortcut special events" (e.g. EVT_DOOR_CARGO_FWD, EVT_DOOR_EQUIPMENT_HATCH, EVT_DOOR_AIRSTAIR and so on), but I'm unable to locate their values anywhere in the PMDG_NGX_Data struct. Any clues? /Andreas

Hi all, I was consulting the tables relative to the landing distances on the PMDG NGX FCOM. My question is, does FSX and/or the NGX actually model different braking coefficients so as to actually have a use for the different braking action tables and LDs? Thank you!

My FSX started to act up this morning. I was making some landings and then doing my go arounds, but my TOGA key froze my whole FSX. I trouble shot it for a couple of hours this morning and could not get it to not freeze on me so I installed FSX and PMDG 737 again. And I re-installed the SP's for FSX and PMDG. Now, hours later, as I try to put my system back together, I find when I press ; to save the flight, when I load it in again, it is not saved. My install folder is C:\FSX and I run as Admin. Gentlemen; Installed in FSX 737-800/900 NGX version 1.00.3118 from a CD. I have PMDG B737-600/700 installed in FS9. I downloaded Svc Pack 1 from PMDG and have been unable to install. I get message that I must install PMDG 737-600/700 first before attempting to install the Svc Pack 1 update. I am confused since I do not want to purchase the FSX version of 737-600/900. Any help would be appreciated. Also understand that the latest CD's are version 1.00.3219. Do these include Sp1? Thanks. Stanner

Hmm i must be an idiot because i cannot figure out the thing about cross-electric power systems in the hydraulics A and B. I have Angle of Attacks videos and must have seen it 3-4 times but still cannot get it why the electric is cross-over to the pumps, In my mind i think that if the engine is lost then the otherside must have lost its supply so why bother with crossover ? Does the above make sense? i sometimes wright baad english :-) Michael PS! Hello! This is on the PMDG section because I think i am too zoomed out for my HUD in the NGX 737 to display what it should porperly. When I do CTRL Z twice i get the red notification of FPS and such but in the right corner I dont get how much Im Zoomed in so I cant know what level of zoom im in. This is for FSX, any ideas? I am using three 27 inch monitors and want to set them up like an inverted diamond i.e. Have two showing external view only and the third (below the two) showing the PFD and MCP. It would be great if that third screen could toggle to overhead and pedastal. Any advice?

Gentlemen; I had problems with my PC and was not able to uninstall PMDG 737NGX using Win7 uninstaller (Control>Programs etc.). So I uninstalled the 37NGX files and folders manually from FSX. The listing of PMDG 737NGX remained in the Control>Programs etc. I tried to uninstall the listing in ControI>Programs etc. but kept getting the error message "an error 5005:OX80070002 has occurred while running this setup. If this error still occurs contact your vendor PMDG Simulations." Hi!I just bought a new PC. I'm using the GTX580, feeding 2 monitors. A 3rd USB-only touchmonitor is here to pick up the CDU 2D panel. I set the whole system up, clean install of Win7 64, FSX and the whole bunch of addons. All drivers are updated. Windows updates done. FSX with Acc, running in windowed mode as admin.So when I try to undock a 2D panel (CDU in this case) and move it over to my 2nd or 3rd monitor, the panel "freezes". Whatever you do, it won't change it's state, in case of the FMC for example, it won't switch sites or show up values you enter. BUT the clickpoints remain active. So right before I was about to depart PANC a couple days ago, we were told to give way to an Alaska 737. I was dumbfounded to see Sharklets...didn't realize Boeing was selling the STC for that on the NGs. Hi all, I have this litlle problem with the NGX: I searched the forum, but couldn't find it anywhere else. After landing, when I switch to external view and then back to the cockpit I hear a loud sound that wasn't there before. Is this a bug? Still love the bird

I am having installation problems. I had 737-800/900NGX installed in Win7 32bit. Do to PC problems I was forced to manually uninstall the folders for 737-800/900NGX. Stupid move. Now unable to uninstall. When I try to install from my CD I am told that the 737NGX installed is a MORE CURRENT VERSION 100.3219 than the version 1.00.3118 am trying to install from my CD. I must first uninstall the more current version, (which I am unable to do), and then install the earlier version from my CD. Are there PMDG CD's available for purchase which are at least the version 1.003219? If yes, where can I buy? Thanks. Stanner
