PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

Hi, since I use the NGX I've a problem with this plane. After one minute flying this aircraft the FSX freeze 5 - 10 seconds. After that the FSX runs another minute and then the same.... THe Problem appears only with the NGX. Do you have a solution ?

Ryan, I want uninstall FSX and reinstall it with a clean installation but out of all my addons, the NGX is the one I'm afraid of touching because of all the SPs. Is it possible to get a download of the NGX that doesn't require any SP installation?

Okay, i just installed this PMDG 737-800NGX, flew the tutorial #1 and everything was ok. After that, i updated the Navigraph AIRAC (cycle 1406), then i tried to fly from SBSP to SBCT. With the http://rfinder.asalink.net/free/ website i found that info about the route: SBSP (0.0nm) -SID-> NIBGA (42.0nm) -UW24-> BROCK (118.6nm) -UW24-> CLARO (138.6nm) -DCT-> SBCT (178.9nm) I used RWY 35R to takeoff from SBSP and RWY 15 to land in SBCT, so i programmed the FMC like this: RWY 35R, SIDs NINV1B, TRANS NIBGA / via UW24 to BROCK / APPROACHES ILSX 15 STARs BROCK1.15 I had to delete a blank field in LEGS page (after CT003), well, the route was complete, a…

Landing rwy 06 EGPH STAR TWEED2A trans TLA I arrived at 4000 MSL as stated in the approach chart and the nav data coded into the FMC and showing in the legs page! Just before the FAF (Loc already captured) my setup is fail passive. Pressed loc first then app and soon as i captured the G/S it pitched down quite alot and my IAS reached 200 kts but soon established and fixed itself. Why is this doing this my last flight was smooth?

Hello, I am PFPX Beta tester and support agent, TOPCAT forum administrator and moderator. I see PMDG passenger weight is hard coded to 80 kg (~ 176 lbs) which not correspond to real life weight as it is varying following type of flight. So I can set the ZFW according to TOPCAT but CG is wrong according with this difference. Could you correct this or help me to be nearest real settings ? Best regards Pierre Chassang

guys what setting did I accidently change to cause my pfd to be empty in center without pitch ladder and horizon every time I start a new flight with the pmdg 737 ngx. pitch ladder gone in hud and says no tacs and how do I get it back

Hi all,so today I had one of the dreaded PMDG_737NGX_3.DLL CTDs that some of you experienced. I was on ILS approach to EDDT with some traffic around me flying on VATSIM with FSINN.I've read that this CTD is possibly related to some TCAS error in the 737NGX. Does anyone know if this can be avoided when leaving the TCAS system on the 737NGX on standby?This would be a pity because the TCAS works great, but if I can avoid a CTD with that I guess turning it off would be the way to go.Any ideas?Thanks

Recently re installed FSX and the PMDG Never had this before but now after flying with the left DU's undocked the main panel locks up and becomes distorted Any help appreciated Thanks

Hello ive installed my FSX after 2 years again. after i installed the PMDG 737NGX i was surprised how the VC looked there are black Textures, transparent Parts, gauges are missing or not clickable. Hi all i'm still a newbie on the 738 even after reading the FCOM When planning a flight on pfpx, i had a step climb planned, so I'd entered the step climb altitude on the VNAV CRZ page and the FMC gave me the remaining distance to the S/C. At 10NM for S/C, i update the MCP altitude to the S/C Altitude but when the A/C was at 0NM, the aircraft didn't start to climb, and the S/C pseudowaypoint ( sry airbus word, don't know if it's the same for boeing ) kept drifting forward the A/C, by the way the S/C distance was always 0 NM, so i had to use the LVL CHG mode, but I'm pretty sure that if the A/C is in VNAV mode, you just have to change the MCP altitude and the plane…

Hey there guys, recently I wondered whether PMDG still consider making a shared-cockpit feature for the NGX or even 777. Back in 2012 durign the conference in Munich, Robert announced that they are looking into it after someone had asked him during the Q & A. Since then there has been no word from neither PMDG nor any customers asking for it. So now I'm asking - is it still being considered for an update much later down the road?

HELLO EVERY ONE so i decided to make a flight plane got my fmc setup right . turned both flight directors set my alt crus speed : v2 but LNAV wont arm , so i did some google searcher and i found here is my departure i think i have found the issue, but i m stuck both airports dont have sids nor stars how to align the depart route with the runway and make a soft turn ( curve )? i m using FC commander and i did get the same result with the 737ngx fmc. Hi all I have some questions regarding procedures for RNAV and NPA approaches : the first time I've performed an RNAV APP, I did : 5 NM prior to FAF : * check RNP/ANP * set MDA ALt on the MCP * check VNAV/LNAV are armed or active *Auto BRK set * Spoiler Armed * ......................................... at MDA I disengage the AP The other time, 5 NM prior to the FAF i did the same thing as stated above but I pressed the APP button, and I had FAC that was armed and so was the GP, the NGX performed then a kind of ILS APP,a bit like the VDEV and LDEV on an airbus. Hi, I did a flight today, and was quite happily climbing through 20+000 feet, when the pressurization alarm started to sound; I had forgotten to switch the packs and bleed-air on. Should I interpret this alarm as "No point carrying on with your flight as all your passengers are dead", or is the situation recoverable? I mean, I know that turning on the bleeds and the packs would silence the alarm after a few minutes in the sim, but would anyone still be alive back there?

Hello everyone, I am trying to do the PMDG Tutorial #1 and I am having a problem. During my FMC setup I am not getting matching values when compared to the tutorial. After setting up my route the two things that do not match are: ISA DEV for them says "32 degrees F 0 degrees C" while mine says "0 degrees F 0 degrees C". Then, on the LEGS page, their picture shows under ACT RTE - LEGS - I/S: (702) - 163/ - 702, then (INTC) - 219/ - 2711 while mine shows (702) - 250/ - 702 then INTC) - 250/ - 5000. Since Sunday, I've been noticing that the 737 NGX has had trouble climbing to cruise, even with an empty load. I've flown several test flights, and discovered the problem occurs only with the ActiveSky Next weather. With default downloaded weather from FSX, the problem did not occur. Is there a problem with ActiveSky weather lately?
