Hi all, I've been flying this plane pretty much since it first came out with minimal problems. However, for some reason when I installed the Drzewiecki NYC airport pack it must have corrupted my hud file,since it is now blank. What is the exact way to fix this again? I've tried going into the dll.xml and erasing the entry then writing it back in. That however did nothing. What exactly do I need to write in that space to get this to work again? Am I just better off reinstalling the 737?

Hello Developers, in you Boeing 777, which comes with a limited version of RAAS Professional, there is an Raas Override Switch located on the overhead. As far as I know 737s, which are equipped with a RAAS also have this switch located next to the flap inhibit, gear inhibit and GPWS override switches. For me as someone who thinks about purchasing RAAS for FSX it would be a nice feature if you could offer to integrate this switch into your 737s cockpit. Of cause there might be reasons why you don't do this, but I as someone who doesn't have a clue of software development, think it is a nice thought and maybe also for you some good input. Hey,First of all, since i'm making a lot of topics of stuff that I think are kinda wrong on the NGX, don't get me wrong, it might look like i'm looking for perfection, but i'm just trying to point out things that I think could be made better :)So, I've seen many photos and videos of a 737NG cockpit during night, and I think NGX's lighting is somewhat too "rough" and something lacking brightness and softness, a few photos will prove my point (I think):-Dome light: Missing brightness, also it is too 'cold', I think it should be slightly warmer, and also illuminate a lot more the cockpit:As you can see, the real photo has a lot of more illumination and the light is softer an…

I just recently got the pmdg 737. I have done the first tutorial flight only two times now. On the 2nd time I did the first tutorial I got the message saying nav out of date on the fmc. I just cleared it out. But I am not sure if this is gonna effect future flights? Thanks.

I was using the fmc in the pmdg 737. Since I got ezdok installed and my page up and page down make the camera move up and down. While I was using the fmc when I pressed page up and down it scrolled through the fmc. Anyway to disable page Up and page down so it doesn't interact with the fmc? Thanks.

Dear sir/mrs, A year ago I've received a installation disc for the 737 NGX. Deu to some problems with my computer I had to reinstall FSX and 737 NGX again. At the time I got a reactivation valid for only a year. This period has passed and now it asked fot a new activation code. Could you sent me this. Thank you. I just recently purchased the pmdg 737. When I load it up the virtual cockpit looks good. But then I switch to the aircraft view all I see is a skeleton. I have already tried to do the highmemfix=1 and max texture load to 4096. I am using Ezdok to switch my cameras. It's almost like ezdok still thinks I am in the virtual cockpit? I have a gtx 460. 6 gigs of ram. I7 930. Thanks.

I have ASN and have not experienced wind shear in the NGX until an approach into Anchorage tonight. I was at 1600ft inbound rwy 15, below and waiting to capture the ILS, when I heard "windshear windshear". I sort of freaked out, turned AT off, slammed the throttle all the way up, disabled AP, and pitched up for climb. Once the gear and flaps were up, I engaged TOGA, and put the plane back on AP for the missed approach procedure already in the FMC. Looking down again, I realized the engine was in the red zone, so I eased the throttle back and reengaged AT. In the other Boeings (757,767,747), I'm very used to turning off the packs during the runway entry prior to takeoff, and setting them back on after reducing engines to climb thrust on the climbout. Now with the 737NG, I have learned that the packs are pretty much left on during takeoff, and that the alternate procedure is to turn off the engine bleed switches instead. This can be done either by having the APU provide air conditioning/pressurization via it's bleed switch being left on, or if the apu is inoperative, the aircraft is flown without pressurization with the engine bleeds off during this brief interval of time before climb thrust is enabled.I tend to takeoff w…

It appears that VECTORS in FMC legs page cannot be selected to the scratchpad so VECTORS are essentially an immovable object in the FMC. It can be over written by subsequent waypoints but VECTORS cannot over write waypoints. I run across this quite frequently but I wanted to give this a specific example. Here is the situation. FLIPR2 STAR landing ILS 8R at KMIA. The STAR finishes with LECIT, JODPO, VECTORS and the ILS starts with KROME. Now the deal is to get rid of JODPO which cannot be deleted and VECTORS cannot be copied over JODPO. Well you could do a Heading Select at LECIT for CHROME and once your lined up on KROME or were less that 3 miles from it, go to LNAV.…

Ok i'm looking for a good technique on how to pick the correct Transition approach for an ILS on the FMC. Do i just select the map mode on the EFIS and scroll through on the legs page using the step button then go to arrival page and select the rwy and plus STAR and select random trans till they match up correctly?

From the FCOMV2 page 4.20.22 ...with fail passive option the FD's bars retracted form view at 50 ft.... this is the correct beahviour. But when I select this option and i try an ILS approach with two fd on, two nav on ILS freq the FD remain on PFD after the 50 feet AGL... the bars retracted form view ONLY in full autoland or with an IAN approach... This is a great bug...possible no simmer notice that anomaly? The older PMDG NG for fs2004 had the correct beahaviour of the FD!!
