PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

I have been reading the PMDG 737 NGX manuals carefully. My only question is : what do pilots in de real world do first when they enter the cockpit ? What do they do before programming the FMC ? Do they start the battery and ground power first and then program the FMC ? Or do they first program the FMC and then the rest ? I hope to fly a real simulator wich you can find on http://www.efsimulator.com/

Hi It looks like the recirculation fan sounds are missing or not programmed to the switches, the sounds of the packs enables when i flick the recirc switches. I hope PMDG will fix this in a future update of the NGX and hopefully get the wx radar tied to ASN as well like the 773. Can anyone confirm this or am i missing something here? Br Per

Bonjour à tous, Voici mon problème ; j'ai beau mettre le 737NGX en cold & dark via le chemin : PMDG Setup >Load panel state > CLDDRK et enregistrer ce vol par défaut une fois que l'appareil est totalement éteint , lorsque je redémarre fsx avec ce 737, les moteurs sont automatiquement allumés !!! Quick question, will PMDG be doing a updated American Livery for the download center.. I did searches for the new paint job but none are up to PMDG standards when they do repaints.. If not I understand, just wondering.. hopefully so... Carlos Colon

do i have to pay to update my data in my nav for the fmc

Hi, I have been flying the NGX since launch without any problem until now. I want to install liveries on my freshly installed FSX but I can't choose a variant (600-900). Since I can't choose a variant I get the error "This variant is not installed". I do run the livery manager as admin. I might also point out that the defualt directory is where my P3Dv2 was installed which is strange, because I uninstalled P3D this morning due to a problem. So in a simple form i have to point to the FSX directory by myself but it still doesn't work. I have also tried the Flight1 Registry tool. Thanks, EmilvK

I am about to make flightplans uing the PMDG-737 CUD only. Sometimes I notice that certain waypoints are not in the database.CDU says "Not in database" My question therefore is : where ( in which folder ) is that what I call CDU database stored ? My O/S is Windows 7 and I use FSX . Thank you Hubert Werni

Dear all, I recently installed prepar3d and the PMDG 737 NGX with the migration tool. Now I can only load the aircraft without any functional gauges, because I think it isn't activated. Does anyone know how to activate it/get it working? Kind regards, Matthew

I have been flying the pmdg 737 for about a month now and never had the plane start lifting off the ground on its own at 120 kts. Maybe from now on I should always put a bit of presure on the yoke. I know the manual says to put a bit of down presure to hold a stright line. But never really had to until today.

What exactly does it mean when the CG value on the Payload screen in the FMC turns yellow, an indication your weight balance is off...? Right now I'm planning a flight from ESSA-ENZV. The ETE is 0130 and to land with approx 1 hour fuel left where the B738 I'm flying burns approx 2400 kg/h I decided to take 6000 kg fuel with me. I then used the 'SET RANDOM' feature in the FMC for the payload which resulted in 61 out of 174 PAX. SAS (which is the airline I mimic in FSX) calculates 13 kg/PAX for flights within EU. For this flight that gives me 61x13=793 kg which I then divide between FWD CARGO and AFT CARGO as seen in the screenshot below. This however also …

Hi. I when I press instant replay to see a replay the aircraft disappears. It is playing normally as if you were in the aircraft but the airplane disappears! You are just randomly floating. Its weird, I am using PMDG 737 NGX and EzDok Cameras. Thanksss!!

Unfortunately I do not know how to ad an attachment ! Can anybody explain and I will send them. I am about to enter a flightplan into the PMDG-737 CDU using jetways instead of the numerous waypoints. First I created a flightplan from Vancouver ( CYVR ) to Montreal ( CYDU ) using FSBuild ( see attachment ) and then I entered the given waypoints into the CDU.( see attachment ) However after J596 I ran into a problem as the waypoint YUL could not be entered into LSK4R ( see attachment for error message ) I checked the map and noticed that YUL is indicated.( see attachment ) This puzzles me and I wonder what is wrong ? I noticed that there are hundreds of company routes (auto saved files) when I try to open Company routes in FMC. Is there any way to clean up (delete) all these auto saved files? Under FSX's saved flights, I only have 3 auto saved flights via FSUIPC. I don't know where NGX FMC is getting all these saved company flights. Any tips on how to clean them up, where to look, is appreciated.

Hi there, after updateing the T7 and the OC I have following Problem with my Flood Lights: As you can see the pedestal floods are full bright and the lower MIP as well and the lower DU surrounding as well and the MCP. All flood light knobs are at the lowest on position this means the first on position. I cannot dim them until the max position where the MIP gets bright. Its more like on or off :( Happens to all liveries after OC and T7 update. I did uninstalled the Livery I am flying before updateing OC etc... The 777 is a mighty fine airplane, but unfortunately I find there are too many limitations in FSX with it. With the NGX I can just turn on all the FSX bells and whistles and fly all day without having to wonder if I will make it to my destination. No freezing, pausing or OOMs. Thank you PMDG for making such an outstanding product. I have a blast with it every time!

So the new 773 just came out, and The developers need a much needed break. After that, and after fixing small bugs that may come up on the 773, what's the plane now? I've heard they're going to go back to the 747? If so I would assume that it would be a while till they update the 737? I guess I'm just wondering what PMDG will do now that the 773 is out?

Hey guys, So i flew the 737 again for the first time at night since i installed SP1 and the 777 300. And it seems my Dome light isnt working. When i flick the switch to turn it on or into the dim position, nothing happens.. Any ideas?

When at cruising altitude the alarm sets off and I realize that someting has gone wrong with the pressurization controller. Crusing altitude goes back from 34000 feet to ----- and the same goes for landing altitude - from 50 til -----. Above Auto Fail lits up. How do I keep the pressurization controller working when flying? I thought it had to do with the packs coming back on after engine start but tht´s not the problem.
