    While waiting for my flight at Honolulu when I moved back to the mainland on Monday I this dedicated Hawaii Alaska 737: I assume the add-on winglet is for more fuel economy but has anyone heard of this? -Rick

    Hi. Have a couple of questions. I've been flying my NGX for a couple of months now, and I love it! I'm now plowing through the manuals so I can learn more about it. In Chapter 10 Section 65 (dont now wich file it is, sorry) it mentions Flight Instruments and EFB This Electronic Flight Bag seems awsome (there is also an Electronic Log Book), and the pic in the beginning of the chapter shows a there is a Display unit to the left of the Captain and to the right of the F/O How on earth can I activate it???   4. Is it possible to go into aircraft.cfg under weights & balance section & put in the right amount weights to allow for more seating show up on fmc.. Like for First Class looking to have 20 seats available for the 737-800 when it currently has available possibly 16.. Is there a way to change it to reflect 20 available seats instead of 16 by weights.. Does anyone in here know how to do this without messing the rest of the plane up.. I'm dealing with United Airlines that has 4 different seating variations & would be nice to know how to do this because sometimes they may use a seating layout that may have 16 first class but next time may be using the …

    I studied the PMDG-737 tutorial 1 including the SECURE PROCEDURE. Suppose a new crew takes over and performs all preparations for the next flight. As is is not a cold and dark I wonder what is the procedure ? What to do with the Overhead panel settings ? Do I just use the same as prior to tutorial 1 ? And if so in what sequence ?     I began a flight planning to fly without using the FMC. I did not program the FMC and took off manually. When I reached the altitude and speed I wanted I manually leveled the plane and adjusted the desired speed with throttle setting. The altitude I leveled at was not the same as that set in the mcp alt window. I engaged auto throttle and hit the alt hold switch expecting to see ALT HOLD in the FMA and the plane continue at the current altitude. The plane started a climb and exceeded the altitude in the alt window on the mcp and continued until I stopped it.My understanding is that the plane should have held the altitude the plane was at when I hit the alt hold switch giv…

    It seems to me that there is an option to align either real time,5 minutes or instantly. I wish the instant option but I cannot remember where those options are. Can anybody provide a fast hint ? I am experiencing a problem with my PMDG 737-800 NGX, the problem appeared suddenly and i can confirm that it has worked before, as in two weeks ago, i have not installed any addons or changed anything to my setup in the time between it working and not working, but the problem does not occur if i load one of the tutorial flights, i have tried to check if there is any difference between the aircraft setup configuration in the tutorial flight and when i load the plane in freeflight but i have not been able to find any difference yet.     Attached is a screenshot of various 738 settings and controls. V1 and VR were called called out and the joystick was pulled back but no rotation occurred. The Flaps 1, D2, assumed temperature are from TOPCAT. V1, VR, and V2 and stabilizer trim are from the FMC. This shot was taken about 1 second after I realized the plane was not going to fly. I have additional screenshots of TOPCAT and the same shot as the one here about two seconds later if they are needed. I see nothing wrong with any settings. However, I could be missing something. If anyone sees anything amiss in this setup, let me know. Thank you.

    Aircraft : PMDG-737 Goal : After landing to shut down engines and restart them again. Procedure to restart : a) Start APU b) The two APU Bus on ( second and third counting from left ) c) Shut down engines d) All fuel pumps on,Pneumatic Panel : Recirc Fans : Off APU Bleed : off ( switch down ) e) Ignition : Both f) Ignition : Ground ( for engine 1 ) g) N2 increases What is strange is that I cannot start engine 2 using the above method and I wonder what am I doing wrong or if this could be a computer bug ?     Hello, I tried to paint a 737-900ER, but in the paintkits of PMDG is only the "pmdg_737NGX_fuselage_1_night2". It has a black strip on the right side, which is the boundary line for the 737-800er. But in the 900ER i'll get a black strip in the night texture of the fuselage. thanks for help and support!     Hi, I have a problem with autobrake, on landing the autobrake when in setting 2 or below disarms straight away. On setting 3 and max it works. I think it has something to do with a failed attempt to do with me trying to set up two brakes on my Saitek rudder pedals through fsuipc. In my assignments I can't remove the settings, I try and select reset and it removes the figures but next flight they are back! Hope that makes sense. Please help! Cheers Rob

    Hi guys not sure this is down to human error but i can't see why this is doing this.     Hi i have spent some time getting all this put together. They mimic the 737 FCOM procedures and are also combined with FS2CREW. All actions from FS2CREW are included and none left out. basically the FO does his flow and YOU the capt does your own flow. there is no double checks on this either. IE i have got you to set the YAW DAMPER on the preflight but we all know the FO does that in FS2CREW things like that. I hope you enjoy.
