I am having to redownload the 737NGX. I purchased the extended download service but don't know how to use it. Don't want to pay the original full download price. I don't see any guidance on how to redownload after purchasing the service. Can anyone get me on the right path here. Thanks. Jim Allen

Hi everyone, I have looked through the forum, but without any luck to find an answer! My oil qty on engine 1 is low, but I cant figure out how to fill it up again?! I have tried to give it a service through the FMC, but that didnt do anything to the low oil qty! Could someone please help me? Thanks in advance BR Nick

Hello, today I recieved my Opencockpits FMC v3, I have followed two guides, and I have tried to set it up to the NGX with Ptoject Magenta, SIOC and Prosim 737 but I cant get the buttons to work. Is there anyone that can help me? Hi! I tried to do a one engine taxi to gate... but that proved to be impossible... The plane was at a stand still unless i maxed the running engine completely, then the airplane started going in circles. Is it supposed to be possible to do one engine taxi at all?

Just got the 737 NGX 3 days ago and an really impressed with this bird. I have watched numerous videos on youtube on how to Autoland. I have both Nav radios set to the ILS freq, both Autopilots are engaged. The speed brake is armed. Istablished inbound I moniter the PD, CMD is selected. Here s where the problem starts. Passing 1500' Land 3 does not illuminate.It stays at CMD. I must be missing an important step on setting up for Autoland. I was doing a flight from KATL to KMCO for the ILS17R at MCO. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Came across this approach chart on navigraph - LEST ILS Z rwy 35 VOR/DME I was shooting a CAT I but seen ILS 4.0 % and ILS 2.5 % and wasn't sure what this mean't or what one to select? Is something to do with gradient? I decided for C 1430 minimums ILS 4.0% Also why does it meantion VOR/DME when its an ILS? Thanks.

Hello, Recently, and by recently I mean within the last week, the 737NGX slowly drifts off the magenta line to the left only when LNAV is engaged. The MFD displays L0.2, L0.3, L0.4, and so on until about L0.9 and then the aircraft makes a hard right turn to get back on course. I've tried to correct this manually by using Heading Select to put the aircraft back on course and then re-engage LNAV. Once LNAV is re-engaged the aircraft slowly drifts back off-course to the left again. This does not happen all the time and this was never a problem prior to a week ago. The only thing I have changed with my sim in the last week was to accept a 737NGX update through the PMD…

Hi! A few questions about how to handle an engine failure during takeoff (after V1). Yesterday I armed a engine failure after V1, manually climbed 1500ft and engaged autopilot but I noticed that I cannot engage autothrottle. Is that normal? Should the autothrottle not be used under any engine failure conditions? How about the landing weight? Would it be normal policy to land the aircraft in an engine failure (not engine fire) occured after takeoff if you are a bit abowe max weight? Say 5000-6000lbs. Or should you circle around to burn fuel with one engine since the 737 has no fuel dump capability? Thanks! Kaj Ekström

Ok. I did a search and found many useful threads, but none answered my exact question. First, let me give an example of where I need help. Flying into SAN on the BARET 4 arrival, there is a restriction that states "Expect to cross 24NM Northeast of the PGY Vortac at 12,000. OK, I know how to do this if PGY was part of the route or if it were to give something like "Expect to cross 24 DME from the PGY vortac on the 45 degree radial at 12,000". The problem is determining at which point along the Star is 24nm from PGY. I know I could give it a best guess and manually aim for 12000 by tuning PGY and watching the DME but there has to be a more accurate and less inv…

I have the NVIDIA 340.52 driver loaded using Dual Head 2 go from Matrox. I am curious if Horizontal span has been brought back like it was in XP? I tried to read the NVIDIA driver docs to find out but it was somewhat confusing. If someone can answer this question I would be grateful. Thanks Don

Hello everyone, Because my current 737NGX training video series is taking so long to complete, I wanted to post a short YouTube video explaining the current status of the project. It's on the 737NGX MCP and me and the review team are about 40% finished with this series. I think when we are finished, it will be somewhere between 14 and 16 videos for the whole series - whew! On tutorial 2, it says that at 3000 feet the aeroplane will pitch over, accelerate and then continue climb. Can't get it to do either, even with autopilot off and throttles bent against the stops in a 45 degree dive it won't accelerate beyond 200 kts, and indeed has been seen to decelerate!!! Nothing will induce it to go faster and of course without a bit of speed it can't climb. Please advise what I'm doing wrong. As far as I can tell, I have followed the tutorial exactly. Thanks Lee

Good Afternoon, I bought the PMDG B737-8/900 NGX and it works just fine both in single player and multiplayer. I got my friend to buy it and it works just fine for him on the single player but the issues start when we're trying to play together online using Direct Connect. He can start the game and connect to the IP adress, but once he select the 737NGX and loads it, the game gets a "Fatal Error" and crashes. We tried connecting with an FSX plane and then changing it in-game, but then non of the instruments work on the panel. When I joined his Aircraft, I could use the instruments, but he couldn't. Hi i'm looking at Navigraph charts. EGKK RWY 08R RNAV I'm confused about the MAP and the MDA. It says for acft that are CAT C the MDA is 700 AGL. In the little box it says MAPt RW 08R? Now i'm confused with these two can someone highlight the differences. Also on the chart it mentions, MISAP later of 2000 1nm THR. What does this mean? Can someone explain all these differences to me. Thanks!

My NGX TOGA works only before touchdown and only with A/T armed. After touchdown(before engines reverse) when getting airborne again, TOGA is dead. FCOM says, can be activated, when airborne again with A/T ON or OFF. Tried with both FDs ON or OFF, A/T ON or OFF. Using FSX with no extra adds-on. Windows 7, 64bit. Need a help, please.

Why doesn't the Pmdg 737 ngx and the 777 have vortex trails from the wing tips like the Fsx stock models? I read somewhere that the atmospheric conditions have to be correct for this to happen, but I have flown in all sorts of conditions at varying heights and never seen this with the Pmdg aircraft. can anyone enlighten me?

I'm trying to get my self familiar with this plane, I have had this plane install for mouths and have not used it. So I decide today to start flying it but for some reason it freezes. Not the hold thing I can still flip switches and press buttons but I cant move the view. If I click on virtual cockpit it will go to that screen but I am not about to move around the cockpit. If I exit out FSX and open back up the software the view will work again and then stop again after about 10-15 min. I'm I doing something wrong? Has anyone experience this? Thanks

Hello Are there any failures that can occur on engine start? The "EGT Exceedance ENG" failures only steadily increase EGT after engine start. And "Engine Flame-out" causes a slight rise in EGT, some smoke, and then clears itself. So my question is this, is there any failure that would cause the engine start to be aborted? Thanks
