PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

This is my first time posting...hope I got it right! I've been flying my -800 for several months and had my FSX setup tuned to perfection when Monday 10/27 I became unable to load any 737NGX aircraft or saved flight in FSX. The sim would freeze after clicking "Fly Now". All of my other default and add-on aircraft were unaffected. I re-installed the NGX but the problem persisted and now I could see the sim freezing when I tried to activate the PMDG modules on first load. Next I formatted my SSD, re-installed Windows 7 64 bit, did all of the Windows updates and re-installed the NGX. Problem persisted. When I reverted to an early restore point...BINGO...problem dis…

Hi guys I have FSX acceleration/windows 7 ultimate 64 b...I7 4790K Asus Maximus vii hero 16 GB ram 1680 but flying from KLAS to KLAX yesterday the game crash telling me FSX is running out of memory,,,WTH ....any idea? Hello, I'd like to ask for a statement (with reference if available) about how PROG 1 track miles are calculated when you are e. g. intercepting the LOC with an extended centerline. Furthermore I'd like to have some information about the displayed VNAV path in that situation. Is some path calculated along the track of the aircraft up to the intercept point, or direct to the active waypoint irrespective of aircraft track...? Thanks,

Hello everyone, I recently started having problems after landing, When I get to the gate I am unable to cutoff the engine one. The cutoff lever is set to cutoff. I then load the coldark mode from the CDU and it the same, the engine one still running. I uninstall and reinstalled PMDG nothing to do. Someone has an idea ??? Thank you !!

hi, im using the pmdg 737 ngx i want to create an aircraft view with EZCA. but when i click on a blank space of aircraft view section, it appears a zoom out top-down view (i see earth). i change view with A or S key but i cant saved it. do anyone know what is happening? please help! sorry if my english is wrong.

Hello ! Can anyone please tell me how I can see when my accual landing will be? When i plan the flight i pfpx, i get a ETA and STA, but how can i see when to increase or decrease my cost index to make the STA? Do i just go through the steps on the CDU?

I wonder if anyone could help me; Having downloaded and installed a livery for the PMDG 737ngx I now find that it is not shown in the list of variants in fsX. The livery in question was Ryanair, which I had been flying for several weeks. I tried to re-install it and several others, following the instructions given, but I cannot get it to show on the livery manager page, even though the show all liveries box is ticked. The only ones that do show are the PMDG house liveries for the 737-800 and -900, each with and without winglets. Hallo guys! I got some issues with my PMDG airctafts (777, 737) When I Start a flight in the virtual cockpit, the fps at about 35! After One (!!!) minute its falling down under 10... I have startet two tickets at the PMDG support but no one is able to help me :( HELP!!!!

At this time of year I am mostly flying at night. So far I have not found a way to illuminate the MCP figures i.e. Altitude ,Course, Speed etc. The only illumination is the general lighting of the MCP. Also is there a way to light up the keys on the CDU ? In the PMDG 777 all these items are lit.

When flying a STAR you've been assigned by ATC that includes a holding at a specific waypoint are you always obligated to hold at that waypoint unless ATC instructs you otherwise?

As the title implies, I have an Intel Pentium B950 running at @2.10Ghz. I'm pretty sure the NGX would murder my processor if I attempted to run the beautiful plane. I've came here asking your opinion on the NGX on a 2.10Ghz and what you think should be the minimum processor speed that could smoothly run this plane. (I'm aware with what the website says about minimum requirements)

The other day someone showed me a very cool app which will allow you to transform your iPad or Android tablet into a fully working FMC which will connect to the FMC in the NGX with help from a small client installed on your FSX computer. You could of course also install the app on your smartphone although it might be a bit tiny. There's a free demo available which will let you try it out at a couple of airports. To be able to use it everywhere you need to buy the full version. The price is a bit steep but IMO totally worth it looking at what it does for your flying experience. I did something on the verge of sacrilege apparently. I got shockwave 3D lights redux. Found .CFG light codes online. I put them in my ngx 738/9 and am quite upset with the results. I've learned my lesson. Will someone please copy their light sections from their ngx 738/9 for me? Thanks in advance.

Hey guys :) I just joined here and hopefully you guys can help me with this slight issue im having. ive followed the tutorial down to the last word, and do what it tells me, but no matter what i cannot get the plane to completely autoland. it will come down to the runway and hover over it but it will not touch down. ive got the localizer set, CMD A and CMD B set, APP set, ils frequency set, HGS set. This is an amazing plane but this is the only thing that i just cannot get ahold of. any help is much appreciated. oh another thing, it says my navdata is outdated so i checked and i have the latest AIRAC, 1108.

So now, I finally found a PC which I want to have for the next few years. But now the problem is, that I can't avtivate my 737 no more, because I registered her too often. Could you help me, please? I have downloaded the PMDG 737 NGX paint kit. ALL works great with my version of PS. Until I try to edit the file "PMDG_NGX_VC_N_NUMBER.PSD". My version of PS doesn't support the complexity of the file. Simply editing and saving doesn't change the file because ONE part is "unedited" at saving (a fact I cannot change unless I purchase a newer version of PS that does). Would anyone be willing to edit the file for me and upload so I can download? I only need it once. I create my own aircraft. I use the same tail number on all of them. Anyone's help with this request is greatly appreciated.

Ive been monitoring the rw flight AAL2219 for the past few days and flying it in the sim. Im curious as to why the pilots would choose to fly so low. As you can see they fly most of the route at fl270.
