    Hello everyone, I'm releasing the first phase of three phases of 737NGX MCP training videos. The first phase covers the Pitch Modes and is made up of 9 videos.     Using FSUIPC PRESSES KEYS tab could configure how many switchers (Landig Lights, Taxi Lights, Battery, etc.), with optimal use in various aircraft. For the PMDG B738 NGX, I followed the following steps. For example for the No. 1 no keypad, operate the Landing Lights. a) In the FMC I deleted the default mapping and indicated that option (No. 1) b) In the FSUIPC, PRESSES KEYS tab, I select key 1 (non-key) and indicated that this key will operate as ON and OFF for landing lights, drop down menu for each case. Indicating parameter 0 for OFF and 1 for ON. Result: the respective switcher (Landing Lights) in the Overhead Panel turns on and off until I return permanentl…

  3. Hi all I need a bit of help here. I've just reinstalled the NGX, than when i choose the plane in fsx i do not get promt to insert my serial/activation code. Than the aircraft will not perform as it should do. Anyone know what this is all about, and what can i do to solve this problem? ( I also have the 6700 RTM, but i've not installed it yet.     Hello guys........new to the PMDG family and still learning about this wonderful thing called flight so please bare with me if my question seems redundant and yes, I have tried to research my question online but am unable to find an answer that my brain can understand so here goes. I have purchased both the 737 and 777 for FSX, but my question is with the 737. In tutorial 1 on approach I set landing minimums in the EFIS panel from BARO to RADIO and RADIO altitude set to 100.     Hi all, As the title says I am missing engine views on NGX 800-900. Strangely though I can see them on the 600/700 expansion. I'm specifically referring to the virtual cockpit view where you can look back at the wing and see the engine pod. I can see the wing but no engine hanging from it. I have attempted to reinstall both programmes but this has not helped. I use a camera add-on programme called EZDOK and I did run to config process after reinstalling but no difference. I eventually uninstalled EZDOK but still no engines. I'm confused as to why I can see them on the 600/700 though. Is it likely a problem with the installer for the 800/900? I noticed …

    I was following my STAR untill i got vectored off, so i selected LVL CHG.   11. Hi all, I've had the NGX for years and for some reason recently ran into this issue. I set the autobreak to RTO prior to taxi. As I taxi to the runway the breaks engage without me breaking. I then disengage the autobreak and it's fine again. Am I applying too much thrust to break away from the gate making the autobreak want to engage? I'm not sure why this is happening. Could it be an issue with my Saitek rudder pedals not being set to a good sensitivity/null zone? The autobreak functions fine on landing. David C. Freeman

    I'm trying to install NGX 737 6700 but i'm getting a version 1.00.3116 or later required message. I tried to install the PMDG 737 6700 NGX SP1b update but that says no version of PMDG 737 6700 NGX RTM is installed. This requires a previous version of the application be installed. I purchased my NGX 6700 & 8900 on the 22.07.12 & installed it just fine but now i want to reinstall them both on a seperate SSD & i'm getting these errors. I did uninstall the 6700 & 8900 before i tried reinstalling. Any ideas? Si.

    Found these and recently i came across CF and FF during the app, can someone highlight the difference between them with CI and FI ? I have used both on ILS approaches. Because i seen no difference in using these two types of abbrevaitions, maybe someone with good experience can help...     Just a quick one (I hope). When I taxi my 737NGX, I get severe side wobble on my joystick (Microsoft Force Feedback 2). It's very slight on the PMDG 747 and other aircraft, but almost impossible to stay holding it with the 737. Is there anything I can do to correct this, please? I'd rather not un-tick the force feedback option in the FSX menu, as it's fine for everything else. Many thanks. (Sorry if this has been asked before, but this forum extends to nearly 1,000 pages and there doesn't seem to be a search facility.)

    Ok i'm planning a flight out of EGLC RWY 09 and i'm getting perf limit - 64,805 kg i try PACKS OFF and the perf limit increases to 65,205 kg why does this increase? i drop my cargo from 4500kg down to 3000 kg still in the red perf limit. my flaps are 25 thrust is TO LIMIT CODE is FIELD I have dropped my PAX loading to 1 and cargo 100kg still in the perf limit sorry mean't to say at the last part by dropping weight it came out of the red perf limit.

  17. I enjoy flying the PMDG 737NGX from it's cold and dark panel state. It's petty, but I find it kinda inconvenient to go the the FMS panel to set chocks, connect the ground power and air conditioning unit and open doors prior to ground services calling. Is it possible to configure the aircraft to always load up in this enhanced state?

    I'm having an issue with the autopilot system on the 737NGX. When I attempt to use the LNAV, VNAV and CMD buttons they either don't light up or only one lights up (usually the LNAV) The VNAV never lights up. I double checked my start up procedures from loading the FMC to ensuring the pilot and co-pilot F/D's are on. I reloaded the software thinking ther might be a glitch but that didn't solve it either. Any suggestions? Larry Schechter

    Hi all Is there a way to actually see the engine on fire after activating the fire? It works and looks well on the default Boeing 737-800 so I would have thought the PMDG would also be able to do it.

    Hello all I just finished a short flight from gatwick to schiphol (not with manual) and I ran into a problem. Just after pushback, I noticed that my plane wanted to turn left immediately, like the wheels where still locked. I ignored that by steering to the right, and no problems further. But just after touch down,(ils land 3) my plane again (with 130 knts) wanted to turn left again, and was just able to stay on the runway. I read somewhere you have to turn of AP and/ AT before landing.. but in the in the manual, it never stated that. What am I doing wrong? vkr victor

  22. Hello - I was just wondering if anybody out there uses 2 monitors for the NGX? I recently purchased a second monitor and would love to get it set up so both monitors display the VC (left monitor displays left side of cockpit and right monitor displays right side of cockpit).     I had a weird one last night, climbed out of KABQ on the way to KDEN. Was on RNAV & VNAV fairly heavily loaded in the -800. Had a climb rate of +7000 fpm and when I reached cruising altitude of FL350 it overshot the altitude. Then after leveling off the throttles went to idle, I turned off AT but that didn't help as when I manually throttled up it would go to 95% and then go back to idle. Any ideas, Kyle ? It only happened that one time but is puzzling. I turned off Vatsim so they wouldn't freak out at the climb rate.

    Hi, I have installed Flight Simulator Gold version and the acceleration pack plus a ton of other add-ons. Now, there is no "styles menu". I know that it should be there when I press the ALT button but it isn't there. I re installed FSX and installed only PMDG 737 NGX version. no result.     I Wanna turn my sound volume of fs a little bit lower , but it doesn't work with pmdg 737. The engine is still alot volume. I just wanna lower the volume to hear vpilot vatsim's atc.
