PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

good evening Today I got the NGX for the first time. Now I seem to be having trouble with the engines. I know it might sound like completely stupidity and not only have I read the manual and searched the boards but how do you shut the engines down? I don't know if this is way more advanced then the 747-400X which I seem to have either mastered or it is really simple but this engine problem is kinda driving me bonkers thanks all for your help in advance Ian Snow

Hi i'm using PFPX with TOPCAT and the 737 ngx 800 Winglet. I done a short flight from EGPF to EGGP it gave me FL300 and my FMS was 200 OPT. Now this is not right surely? soon as i hit TC i would be descending right away. so i changed my cruise alt to FL230 i got that alt from real world flight plans. is anyone else suffer from these crazy alt calculations from PFPX? I have to say its fine when on long flights from glasgow to spain lets say its always on the money. Recently, I've come across a serious issue with my FSX. I haven't used the sim for a couple of months but now when I launch FSX, there's an "Online Activation" window that pops up. I purchased they 737 - 600/700 & 800/900. When I enter the key for my 600/700, it gives me some weird error message then crashes my client. If anybody can share some knowledge, it would be greatly appreciated. I need this issue to be resolved. You can look at the screenshots below to get a better idea of what I'm experiencing. Hi can anyone advice me as to what to do ? I have the PMDG 737 600 through to the 900 and all was well until my desktop had a really bad day I thought that I had sorted everything out but now when I am running FSX or though the PMDG aircraft seem to be in the flight sim aircraft file they don't show up in the list of aircraft in the choice of aircraft when you want to change from say the default 737 to the PMDG 737ng they just don't show up in the list . can some one please tell me what I have done wrong or messed up my most sincere thanks to all who read my post and even more to those that try to help me many thanks

Hey i have provided a pict below so you guys can do some calculations and prove me wrong that infact its working just fine. Hello, can someone tell me what step I am missing on landing the 737? II have a complete auto land set up, but the NGX never calls out the altitude. What am I doing wrong? Thanks, Calvin

Talk about surprised. Because of a Firefox glitch, I used my Acronis backup to re-install my system. The backup was from the first week in August. After adjusting various programs, I decided to give the Regina/Edmonton flight a chance, since I'd checked out so many other areas. To my surprise, everything worked just as it was supposed to. Finally! Whatever the glitch in FSX, flight plan, the airport or whatever, it seems to be corrected. Thanks to the gang who provided possible solutions even though apparently it was beyond all of our help. Jack Fentress

I forgot to check the packs and bleeds, and I now have a pressurization failure in the middle of my flight. I looked at the Failures menu in the FMC and tried everything I could with the Pressurization submenu. I doesn't appear to do anything. Is there a way to 'reset' the failure without exiting the flight? Thanks, Leif

Hello again. Keeping having problems with my NGX :( this time the fuselage goes transparent. The VC Also gets pretty screwed up as well. I have the picture to show as well. I have tried to Highmemfix with no luck. Also with a fresh install. It also causes my scenery to crash or glitch out. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi support,I m an old PMDG costumer.my fsx was very stable for years but 2 months ago it start to crash and after many trying to fix it I gived up .... I format my 2 hard disk,now I have W7 64 bit on C and a clean FSX on D.... I reinstall opus,FTX global ,REX etc...everything ok untill when I reinstall NGX.... 1st error is that :after ngx installtion when it want install directx it stops and give me an error (internal error) ( 1st time I bought and installed NGX everything was ok and W7 64bit is still same version...) 2nd error: once in fsx when I load NGX I hear a "bin"(tipical windows error sound)and NGX virtual cockpit graphics looks like corrupted ,no button or l…

Not sure whats going on here but on approach i have on the FMA CMD to SINGLE CH on LOC cap and then to CMD but i don't get the CMD appearing so there for i can't engage my 2nd autopilot. i have FD on both NAV RADIOS tuned courses set etc. i engage the app mode everytime. i'm not doing a flight just loading up the 737 and doing practice landings.

Can anyone give me a solution for this?This happened initially when accessing the menu in FSX (FSUIPC option to be precise). After that i couldn't even load the NGX.I have removed FSUIPC, reinstalled NGX, removed FSX.cfg, and still it continues to beat me. I even tried the UIautomationcore file but that was a naieve but last resort approach, still, no good. I think this is a bug. I don't want to have to reinstall windows or NGX again because I shouldn't have to and it's a laborious process. Just wanted to let everybody know (if anybody still owns a similar cpu) that the ngx works flawlessly on a Pentium IV (OCed to 3.6 Ghz) with more than decent visual settings and REX but no traffic. I average about 25 in flight and it goes down to 18-20 on the ground with 4 gb ram (667 Mhz) and an old 8600GT. Arthur Fabre

I've been flying the 777 ever since the 200 came out with no problems. A couple of days ago, I decided to go back to the 737 NGX for a couple of flights. What I found was that no matter what flight plans (Flight Sim Commander) I used or re did, I'm not able to show the altitude read outs (in the legs area) and the FMC continually says "V speeds not available". My first guess was that I'd forgotten something I needed but darned if I can find what that might be. It's tough getting old! I'm hoping that someone has had this problem and could help me get a complete flight plan into the FMC. Jack Fentress

How do you create new camera views in the VC of the 737 NGX? I tried to add and edit the aircraft.cfg and it didn't seem to make any difference whatsoever to any camera views.

Not sure why but for some reason my NGX is acting up. On the last two tried flights I can't get the speed to pass 200kn. The only thing changed on the sim-computer is Windows updates but I have a hard time believing they could break only the speed of the 737. Doesn't matter if I'm on AT or manual, full power and the plane still can't ascend or pick up speed. Has anyone else seen anything like it? Should I just remove and re-install the NGX or is there something else that could be done?

Greetings I read this somewhere but can no longer find it. Can someone confirm the maximum descent rate (to be in compliance with regulations) for the B737-800 during a non-precision approach and a precision approach? From memory it is no greater than 1000- fpm for a precision approach and 1300 feet for non-precision approach. Thank you, WilloW

PMDG737NG After programming FMC ( I hope correctly) V speed do not indicate onTakeoff Ref pg. This will preclude VNAV & LNAV operation. Am I doing somethinmg wrong>
