PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

    Was landing a few minutes ago at KATL on a DAL 737-900. Conditions were normal, no crosswind, dry runway. The plane hit hard, really hard. It was the hardest landing I have ever experienced. The engines did not reverse immediately, but we felt hard braking. Plane began to skew to the right. Felt a hard brake to to the left side of the plane. Finally, as the plane was beginning to slow, the engines reversed, but very briefly. It was six in the morning, and everybody woke up. Flight attendant begins the usual post-landing announcement, but she was breathing hard. It sounded like she was shaken up. Any guess as to what happened?

    I flew from Mexico City to Miami,Florida without any problems. After that I tried a flight from Bogota ( Columbia ) to Miami with the same payload,fuel quantity as before. When selecting the v speeds I got a CDU message : V speeds not available. I wonder what the problem is ? Altitude ? However the altitude difference between Mexico City and Bogota is only a few hundred meteres . Any ideal wat is wrong ? Thanks Hubert Werni

  4. Hello When i connect to IVAO i have the problem, that no button is clickable in the overhead, when i switch to the 2D-Panel, everything is working fine. As soon as i fly offline, everthing ( 2D panel, virtual panel ) is fine an everything is working. This sound's very strange for me.Any idea's ? Thanks Bodo

    Hi, With the 737 the brakes only get a temp reading in max brake or rto. With 1 2 3 4 autobrake the brake temp stays at zero. I dont have this problem with the 777 that gets always a temp reading with autobrake. Is this a bug in the 737? greets, Jordi van der Meer

  6. My PMDG 737NGX crashes on Exit. I've tried running FSX as Admin, tried runing FSX in Win Xp, Vista and 7 compatibility mode(tried all of them), and it didn't seem to fix the problem. Im also running the latest REX (I believe it's REX 4). I've been looking doing research on this and tried the suggested solutions posted on this forum, and it still didn't work. Any Solutions/Suggestions guys ? My PC Specs: Windows 7 64 bits Intel®Core i5-4670 @3.4GHZ 8 GB of RAM GeForce GTX750 Ti Card.

    I have the PMDG Operations Center, and its telling me that my NGX B737 is version 1.00.3219. But I purchased FS2Crew and it keeps telling me that I need NGX SP1c and no other version. Is this the same thing as NGX v1.00.3219? And the FS2Crew install instructions says I should reinstall the SP1c update, to ensure that the panel.cfg file is correct and up to date. However because my NGX has been updated by the Operations Center, I dont have a SP1c update to reinstall. Any suggestions what i should do? Oh before you say 'ask on the FS2Crew forum', I've been asking there and got nowhere - they just get all antsy because I dared suggest there …

    Good day fellow 737 Pilots, I have a HUGE problem, i bought online a Opencockpits MCP to use with my PMDG 737NGX. Now i have tried almost everything, let me just say it out first I am not at all a computer fundi, very far from it im actually useless, if it cant self install, then yeah i have a problem. Is there anyone here that has this MCP, and can give it to me in a "Dummies Guide to Installing the OpenCockpits MCP for the PMDG 737NGX", pretty please!!! I really want to use it, the previous owner used it with IFLY 737 and he was chuffed, so happy for him, but i prefer the PMDG version. Thanks!!!!!!!

  10. As was noted in the release announcment, the 2D cockpit view was lowered to provide better outside view while on approach. I have SP1 and 600-700 add-on. I have a 25" widescreen monitor running at 1920x1080. WideViewAspect is set to "TRUE". I'm using the widescreen panel, and not the 4:3 view. I normally zoom out to 40% for the outside view, which usually works good.When using the NGX 2D instrument panel, the over-the-nose view is pretty good. However, it now appears to be set too low.   11. Hi, I don't know if this subject has already been dealt with but in the past several days I have been trying to find a way to read the display offsets from the electrical panel on the 737NG. Unlike the ALT and LAND displays, there are no offsets listed in the SDK file for the 7-segment displays in the electrical panel. Is via PMDG 737NG offsets the only way to interface LEDs?   13. Dears, I bought the new computer with Windows 8.1 and PMDG738 NGX. I run the FSX as administrator and PMDG aircraft. I click the FMC box and key in some data (e.g. route). Once I completed the data input and return to normal screen, I can't use "Spacebar" and Mouse mid key for zoom in and out. Anybody has the same problem and would you please share with me how to solve? Thanks

    Hello everyone, Until yesterday everything was fine, until I tookoff,and I noticed that the V speeds isn`t declared by the co-pilot, or the cockpit speakers... I can seeit in the PFD - the v1, VR and V2 speeds, but i cant hear someone who says "v1", "vr", and "v2". whay was that? because as i said - Until yesterday everything was fine... maybe i chang some thing in the options? thank you!

  18. After the installation is finished I'm prompted to update directx in order for the 737 to work properly. So when I try to install it I get this message: A cabinet file necessary for installation cannot be trusted. Please verify the Cryptographic Services are enabled.So the directx installation fails. And when I try to fly the plane all of the display screens are black and nothing in the cockpit works. Could I fix this by uninstalling fsx and trying to install the PMDG again on a clean fsx?

    Hello fellow pilots, I have been experiencing an odd thing during my last couple of flights. As soon as I rotate nose up, the landing gear retracts automatically without me actually pushing a button. This seems to happen as soon as the main landing gear loses contact with the ground. As a result, the cockpit ambient sound is starting to loop a specific sequence from the landing roll and rattle. This can only be ended when I initiate a descent. I have checked my FSUIPC button settings that I use to map my SAITEK yoke bindings but I could not find a double key assignment with the classical 'G' command.     Recently i started having problems with fsx crashing during flight. Got that problem solved but heres my issue with the ngx.....when restarting and loading my last autosave (to pick up where i left off when fsx crashed) the panel state is set to cold and dark. Question is...(and yes i HAVE read the manual 3 times over lol) how can i get the fmc to automatically load the most recent auto saved flight...that way i dont have to try and flip on the battery and manually load the last state. Also...i I save a flight in general...i dont remember how it was set but it used to just load the panel state exactly how i had left it the last time...now it seems i can only get cold and …

    Okay, so you can call me anal if you'd like but when I fly the 737 NGX I like the various 2D pop up panels to all be sized how I like and all placed where I want. In fact you could almost add it as a step on my preflight checks - just after 'set IRS to Nav' - resize and position 2D windows. I have FSX setup to run on 3 monitors and the default settings for the windows are just not right for me. Is there any way of saving the windows so that I don't have to go through the process of resizing and positioning each and every window every time? It is after all a bit of a chew. I've tried saving the panel state on the FMC but that didn't work.

    Hi ! With the 737 i started with a save panel state as long flight. All the checklists were respcted as usuall. After engine start only on the copilot side there were the air cond sign on. i will show u some screen so that u can try to see and understand what can be the possible problem. Packs were on after engine start bleed air as well altitude was set in the over head same like landint altitude. this is the first time i see this problem over 1500 of flights with this plane.. Hello all, just got PMDG 737, tested a flight out (sort of still getting used to it from Airbus X) And I've noticed that when I start up the battery and start my checklist (by myself I need fs2crew lol), 4 PFD's pop up, excluding one, the one screen not showing up is the one in between the FMCs. Which is really weird, so I'm guessing it's either an install problem or something with the jet, (however I doubt it because I used these combos yesterday Ctrl+E and it showed up fine and working afterward.....   25. Have had an odd problem for the last two flights. After the center tank empties, the left and right wing tanks are not feeding fuel, thus the engines starve out. I have probably 25 flights in the NGX prior to this with no fuel flow issues. I have all fuel pumps on, so that is not the problem. I don't have any of the random maintenance and failure issues activated. The first flight I could not get a restart. Last night, I reloaded the center tank via the FMC (not very realistic) and executed a crossbleed restart - at 13,000 feet - and finished the flight. I have obviously done something, but I can't figure it out. Any suggestions would be welcomed.
