PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

I'm wondering about what appears to be strange behavior when disconnecting the autothrottle. I watched Kyle Rodgers video about disconnecting the autopilot and the autothrottle. So I did as the video suggested and assign keys to the commands in the CDU and then, using FSUIPC, assign those keystrokes to buttons on my joystick. Ever since doing that and using that method for disconnecting both when on a coupled ILS approach, i noticed that my landings where a bit firmer and, upon rollout, noticed that the flaps had already retracted to 15 degrees from 30 degrees. Hi, my pmdg 737-800 when the engines are on, the thrust levers start to advance by themselves. I re-installed the software and the problem is still there, i disconnected my saitek rudders pedals yoke and the saitek throttle quadrant and the issues is still there. I was wondering if any one has a solution to this to save me doing a complete fax re-install. Thanks

Hi there, so I'm doing Tutorial #2 provided with the 737 and in the newer NaviGraph Cycles, they seem to automatically enter a Hold at RTTB right before the 210° Intercept. I've looked into the FCOM2 about holdings and learned that you remove one by copying the subsequent Waypoint into the holding point. As the 210°InterceptLocalizer is just a Pseudo-Waypoint, is there a way to delete the hold anyway? Plus, as I haven't flown a hold before, is it possible to deactivate the hold before you actually enter it? This way I could at least work around the hold without deleting it on the Legs page. And then there is a problem with the Localizer Waypoints - After enter…

I currently have my gaming pc in the office. I wanna put it downstairs in my basement and connect it to the home theater. But the. I would still need a pc for the office. I would just need a pc for web browsing, facebook, looking at photos and listening to spotify. Basic stuff like that. Amazon has a I3 desktop for under 400 bucks. That's enough right? Thanks

Hi all i.m using windows7 32bit and fsx loaded pmdg ngx when i select a pmmdg aircraft it loads ok doesn't do the self test and all screens are blank and you are not able to click on anything either help please thanks

I never had any problems with the PMDG 737 NGX. But suddenly, when I start the PMDG now, all the instruments are black. I have tried to reinstall PMDG but it is still the same. regards Uwe

Hey. I've had the 737 800/900 for awhile and it's by far one of the best planes in my hanger. My dad is also a pilot for Southwest, so we of course got the Southwest repaint. Upon approach, we were confused to not hear the 2,500, 1,000, 500, etc.. callouts. He says that all the 737s operated by Southwest have these callouts. So why does American or Delta have these callouts and Southwest doesn't? -Mac

Has anyone been able to add Marcus Thompsons vintage FlightDeck Sound Effects Panel from the FS2004 era to the NGX? I know how to but wasnt sure if there would be conflicts before I try.

Something has happened to my toe brakes when using NGX. They just dont work anymore. BRAKES is showing on the lower left corner all the time. It works fine on other airplanes tho. Whenever I use the toe brakes BRAKES is replaced by DIFFERENTIAL BRAKES. When I release the pressure on the toe brakes DIFFERENTIAL BRAKES IS REPLACED by BRAKES again and it will just stay there. This started happening today together with toe brakes not working. I have not done any changes to cgf files or any other settings lately. Anyone had similar issues?

Question, when the 737 is cold & dark in real life.How do the pilots enter the aircraft? Is there auxilary power for the airstairs & door's?If it is,is it modeled in this 737?

I got the pmdg 737. I am getting used to the fmc. But for example taking off at KORD and try to program the SID it just vectors me. Then I have to connect the vector to a waypoint. What is the correct way to do this with the default atc? Or just ditch the atc all together? Also would radar contact give me better directions?

Just wondering if there are any additional steps I should take other than running the installer to uninstall the 737? Are there any other folders I should manualy delete? Such as the pmdg folder on the fsx directory. I am also running ezdok. And have just recently updated the fmc from navidata. I guess the reason why for this reinstall is for the plane not to show the virtual cockpit when I am in the ezdok aircraft view. I never configured ezdok right after I installed the 737. Thanks

Whenever I adjust the fuel quantity in the FMC i.e. to 1/3 full the engines , which are already running, shut down. I have reloaded the program, but no change. If I start cold & dark the same thing happens. Any suggestions to cure the problem will be appreciated.

In my case just prior to reaching the runway, the aircraft will rapidly descend and my display goes from "Land 3" to "no autoland/apch warn". This occurs when the AIRAC cycle is outdated. There are 2 ways to fix this for the NGX. 1: Buy the latest AIRAC cycle for PMDG found HERE 2: If you don't wish to buy it but want to hide that message follow these instructions: Navigate to FSX Root Folder\PMDG\NavData\ Backup the fmc_ident.txt (change name to fmc_ident.txt.bak) Create a text file called fmc_ident.txt Open the file fmc_ident.txt Copy the following and paste into the fmc_ident.txt: [ident] NavData=AIRAC-1108 OpProgram=AUG25DEC31/11 CoData=EAG-1108 Save the file. Hello! There was a problem: when attempting to land at any airport there is a sharp drop in fps from 45 to 6-8. If you do a view of the wing, then the fps increases to 90-115 With 777 and A320 Aerosoft no such problems. Help please( :(

Hi! So, last night I was doing a short test flight in the NGX from KJFK to KORD. It was getting late, so i decided to save the flight and finish up tomorrow. So, today I loaded up the flight in FSX, the systems initialized, and the whole A/P setup was messed up. LNAV and VNAV couldn't be enabled and the plane started to follow the Heading selector thing. Did I do anything wrong? Should I save the panel state? :unsure: Any help is appreciated!

Hello! I'm not sure if I have an issue here or not. Here is the deal. I used flusifix 5.0 and changed a setting that said alternating strobe/beacon or something like that. I changed it back to default within the program after that. That said, the way my beacon light blinks is not consistent. It will blink 5 times, then pause for like 2 seconds, then start up again and blink 7 times, then pause for like 2, etc completely random. I don't know if this is normal NGX behavior or what, but it's not just a continuous blink. There are pauses in the pattern. Does this sound right? Thanks Nick

Read on EGNT chart that you should use LPLDA when i was preparing my descend and getting ready but has anyone ever done this and how is it performed correctly? Can't find any 737 ngx videos on it...
