PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

FYI - After updating to the newest Ops Ctr. version, I started getting a notice about a missing livery. I tracked it down to my 737-700 Winglet California_One livery. It seems that the new Ops Ctr. can't handle livery files that contain an underline character. I change the livery file name and the reference in the aircraft.cfg file to California1 and I no longer get the notice.

I Fly pmdg 737 900 on Approach marker om and middle marker lights show on pfd. but no sound i have turned on switches on radio panel please can you help. also undocking nav cdu etc to secondary display frame moves to second monitor but just a blank screen thankyou From Brian merridew

The engines start just fine from cold and dark, but when I finish my flight and park at the gate, hitting the fuel cutoff levers does nothing to shut down the engines, they just keep running. Anybody have any idea why?Thanks,,John

At times when I start the 737-700 NGX the engines can be started and running but #1 won't spool up in power past idle. If I switch aircraft and then re-load the NGX then the engine will start, spool up and operate as normal. And at times only one engine will shut down completely. I have a CH throttle quadrant, FSIPUC and a high end desktop running FSX. Everything runs great other than these issues. Can anybody help me with this issue, short of a re-install? Thanks John

Hello All, I seem to be having a problem with the cabin windows on my 737. Instead of being able to see through the windows into the cabin when in external view, the view is as if there is no interior. I can see the opposite wing and the scenery behind the other side of the aircraft through the windows instead. I tried reinstalling the plane, but that did not fix it. Any suggestions?

Hello, I have a question regarding the McPhat repaints ( are we allowed to discuss that here..?) I have watched the YouTube video in which there is supposedly a key to unlock a file (AA Repaint) that requires an installer which I can't find. (Hope that makes sense) I've registered on the McPhat website, but alas... It looks so good in the videos and I want it badly ! Right this is in 2 parts! 1st. I'm doing an ILS approach i'm approaching the FAF in either level change or VNAV say its 3000ft glideslope is alive and the needle is moving down now i have 3000 dialed into the MCP what altitude will i select for the A/C to start descending? Will i punch in the MDA say i'm doing a cat 1 minimums is 200 will i enter in 200 ? Untill glideslope capture then enter Map altitude? Now you all will be saying just arm APP but at that point i wasn't cleared to land and only LOC was armed and showing green at that point. So what i done is entered 200 into the MCP and just used V/S set at 800 fpm i got that from the app chart table for speeds a…

Hey, I have the problem, that when I zoom out in the virtual cockpit I get points and stripes on the displays (see the attached photo). If I zoom in everything is perfect. But when i set COCKPIT_HIGH_LOD=0 I don't have this problem in any case, but then the resolution of the displays is low and the plane doesn't look that amazing. My graphic card is the NVIDIA GTX 760 and I use Windows 8 - 64bit. I installed the newest drivers and patches, but that doesn't help. Thanks for your help!

Not sure if the is a snag or a user induced problem. When I click the hidden spot for the auto throttle prior to take off the AT switch disengages. Have I missed a step (I have not seen anything that suggests anomalies of this kind). I have tried it several times, other times it will dis-engage during the takeoff roll which is simply corrected by re-engaging it. I have had it dis-engage in flight as well, however when this happens I have noticed that the power levers appear to have an un-commanded split. My input devices have been properly calibrated and do not have any noise (this was my first area of focus). Any suggestions would be appreciated Thanks

When I am flying and just using basic fsx atc. When I get close to the airport click on the nearest airport list and choose my airport and they give me the runway to use. Do I then go into my fmc and choose the runway and approach? Am I gonna have enough time to choose the runway and approach by the time I get really close to the airport?

Recently, I tried to fly the beloved PMDG 737NGX. Now, after flying the new -300ER and SP1, it has come to my attention that the NGX doesn't measure up. In fact, none of my other aircraft measure up. This thread was created to remember the uninstallation of the PMDG 737NGX. I'm sorry... I had to do it. Please tell me I'm not alone in doing this! :unsure:

Hi Folks, At the moment I have the throttle set up on full axis with the buttons below the levers as reverse trust using FSUIPC. Is there an easy way to set up reverse throttle on the same lever axis as the main throttles. Thanks

Hi guys is there a tool anywhere to suggest good shorthop say 1-3 hour NGX flights with good Add on scenery/procedures predominantly in europe. i get stuck sometimes thinking of where to fly and would like avsim users suggestions. ie EHAM - LOWI etc any advice would be greatly appreciated. I accidentally started the engines without the fuel pumps running ... successfully. Is this properly modelled operation? As the tanks are higher than the engines, I can imagine that this might be possible, though perhaps not above idle. Same applies to the APU, but I watched a Real World video of a 737-800 startup, and sure enough, the pumps were not turned on prior to starting the APU. That I find more odd as the APU must be at about the same level as the tanks.

I just hope this doesn't start some sort of flame war... So i haven't had much time lately to look over all the new info related to the release of the 777 SP1, but i did notice in the thread started by Ryan that he says: Is the OC available to people who don't have the 777? If so, where do i get it? If it isn't available, will it? Or we'll have to wait for SP2 for the NGX? Thanks. Edit: I got an error while posting this. Hey guys, Before i start im not intending to start a war. I have bought and Downloaded the 777 300ER and the SP1 update. Im so happy with it and the weather radar ect. It seems to me that the little things in the 777 now are what i tend to notice more. For example, on the MCP the 9 and 6 numbers have been changed, and to what i think look alot better. The Hats which now sit under the engines and the wings, makes Sitting at the gate more realistic... My question is Will the SP2 update for the NGX have some of the items? Things like how the 9 is shaped ( Again small things i notice ) and things like the hats that guard the wing ect The new 777 300 and …

Hi, Everyone I'm a big fan since old 747-400, you guys make great products. Recently I'm considering to upgrade or replace my old PC and transfer your products to the new one. For 777 i know i can de-auth the product on myself but I'm not sure about NGX. So here's what I'm wondering: My hard drive crashed a few times before so i had to reinstall the OS and PMDG multiple times. Will this have any impact on activating NGX on my new PC? If the activation system decides to block the request, what can i do? What do i have to show to you that i am still the legitimate user of this software?
