PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

Hello, I have been enjoying the NGX for quite some time now and I love every second of it. Lately though, I have been experiencing a minor issue with the sounds. I have my NGX rigged with the ISFD which should ordinarilly not produce a sound that is audible in the cockpit, much like the soft rattling sound the analogue counterparts make. However as of late, this rattling sound is also audible when I am flying with the ISFD selected through the FMC. I reckon that somewhere a glitch in the sound profile has been made. Sometimes before takeoff, and sometimes during cruise, my Sidewinder Force Feedback II joystick will become disabled, forcing me to use the keypad arrows for directional control. I made no sudden or abrupt movements. Is there a parameter I can change? What could cause this?

Hi there, I'm new here so go easy on me, I have recently purchased PMDG 737 NGX. From what I've read around that there's supposed to be an update for this software. From what I understand if you've purchased the 700 and 800 models like I have with PMDG 737 NGX then isn't there an free update so you can also use the 600 and 700 models? I did find something the other day but I got confused about it, it said when I tried to install the update that I had the wrong product or something? I thought if you were a customer of the boxed version of this add on then you could also get the 600 and 700 for nothing. Is this wrong? Did it read it wrong somewhere? I think…

I understand from the forums that the night lighting (taxi and landing lights) are of the type that illuminate the scenery, far superior to how the default FSX aircraft work. It does not appear to be the case for me. My NGX lighting is no better than default. It works but is certainly nothing special. I do have REX Essential+ installed and in the past I did change the setting for aircraft lights in that program (you can adjust for different types of lighting). Could this have caused the problem? I also use ASN but running the sim without starting ASN and then setting the sim to clear all weather does not make any difference. Any thoughts on this most welcome.…

I would like to know how efficient they are compared to the current 737NG winglets. I hope PMDG is going to include those new winglet types in a future Service Pack.

Hello all! I have a very annoying problem in the NGX as I had discovered that on touch down, my auto brakes dis-arm, even though I am not wanting to them to do so. The light just comes on (auto brake light) around 2-3 seconds when touched down onto the runway. I have made sure that am not touching the brakes (as that will dis-arm them, of course) and also I looked at my failures but there 100% not on, I also serviced the hydraulics just in case it was that, but sill didn't fix this problem! If anyone could please help, it would be much appreciated for your help. Thanks!

I fly this aircraft exclusively, so I'm posting here in hopes for an answer. I use ASN, REX TD, and I have the latest FSUIPC. My cruising altitude temp hover around -25 to -29 degrees Celsius, far from the -55 to -65 that the METARs indicate, as well as what PFPX indicates for those altitudes. Does anyone have an idea of what may need to be done to get an accurate retro indication?

Hi everyone Whenever I plan a longer route to fly in my ngx I get an error message saying MS FSX has stopped working and my computer closes fsx. I have tryied to find an answer in the forums but haven't had any luck yet... I typically try to fly between Hawaii and California I'm using fsdt Hawaii scenery, gsx, Newport photo scenery for the Hawaiian islands, and downloaded real world weather via the stock fsx wx generator. I take off and fly manually to about 10,000ft then engage the auto pilot , between 15,000ft and FL300 it crashes saying fsx has stopped working I found through the forum the crash app and I'll post the data below. I went to simroutes. I searched for a route from klax to kbos. Picked a high alt route. It drew a stright pink line. Then I went to my dep/arv page and selected the 24L runway I was on. And selected the subby departure. It then drew out the SID. That line connected with the first stright line. Does that sound right? Is the SID line supposed to meet the co route line? Also I could only e…

Took off from EDDF rwy 25L with heavy head winds 35 kts and i'm using ASN. during the takeoff roll i noticed my GS was way higher than my IAS what input should i take? professional feed back please :) Also i'll add in - check the general instructions for EDDF for navigraph it said climb at V2 + 10 how do i change it from V2 + 20 on the NGX....

Hello everyone I have the Aerosoft boxed version of the PMDG 737NGX but I am having an issue with activation it I put the activation code into the box as it requires but it comes back saying that I have exceeded my activations How do I go about getting this re-set? When flying in extreme cold conditions and correcting STAR altitudes. Does one apply the correction for Final Approach Fix altitudes also? Is this necessary for FSX?

Hi! I know there are a billion threads regarding this, But I cant seem to find any answers in any of them... I have a problem that every now and then, like every 20 seconds or something, the computer freezes for like 2 seconds. and then runs fine again. I have used the Venetubo fsx.cfg config guide. But that didnt help. I have great fps between the stutters... And it doesnt matter where im positioned... (and no matter what aircraft im using) This is the forum where I usually get the best help... thats why I write here... Okay i understand these categorys so my question is i just watched 737 800 just planes dvd and the pilots used the ILS approach DA 290 at EDDF rwy 23 now this is a CAT I approach am i thinking right there doing a CAT I landing because the weather is above minimums? Because me being a simmer and lack in knowledge i always do a cat II or whatever i feel like doing. I just won't to do things the right way! Can someone help thanks :D

I am having trouble transitioning between vnav and using the mcp to make altitude transitions. I have stayed away from vatsim flights until now due to my lack of confidence in this area. While flying under lnav/vnav I can easily make heading changes and speed changes due to ATC direction and then get back into lnav/vnav, however, when using level change and V/S to make altitude changes at times I have trouble getting back into VNAV flight. My understudying is that while in vnav engaging mcp vertical path modes would disengage vnav and then when wanting to disengage the mcp vertical path mode simply engaging vnav to cancel the mcp mode. Hi Everyone ! There is a way to edit 2d panels ? I gave it a try with my FSpanel software, but after saving the file, buttons stop working. I would like to edit the overhead removing the left and right background to fit in a screen setting as "portait" instead of "landscape" so the overhead have to fit with 1080 width.
